    Raw Report 12/17/2007

We begin with a recap of last weeks 15th anniversary spectacular, specifically McMahon being socko'd, tombstoned, and stunned.

The credits roll, and Raw is LIVE! from Buffalo, NY; only on the USA Network!!!

Melina's music hits, and Victoria, Jillian, Layla, and Melina come out for a "Santa's Little Helper" 8 Diva Tag match. Lilian Garcia botches Victoria's name and calls her "Kelly Kelly" on accident. Jillian starts by singing "The Christmas Song," but it's interrupted by Mickie's music.

Mickie, Maria, Kelly, and Michelle McCool v. Victoria, Jillian, Layla, and Melina

Maria and Jillan start off going back and forth with Maria getting the upper hand. Maria tags in Kelly, but Jillian takes conrol and tags in Layla. Layla with a 1 count, and she puts Kelly in the corner, but Kelly reverses with a sunset flip pin attempt getting a 2 count. McCool is tagged in, and Melina gets in to catch more from McCool. Melina gets control and puts McCool in a tree of woe. A Crazy double team in the corner by Melina and Victoria, and Victoria follows it up with, but misses, a moonsault. McCool tags in Mickie who hits a Thesz press off the top rope and gets a 2 count. Mickie clears the heel corner, and hits a neckbreaker on Victoria for a 2 count. Mickie then hits a DDT for the win!

    Your Winner: Mickie James

The diva's all brawl until the faces irish whip the heels into each other in the center of the ring, causing a heel diva collision, and they all fall down and out of the ring.

Vince walks out very slowly as the face Divas look on, confused. The Divas's clear the ring, and Vince takes center ring with a microphone. He says last week, he was to celebrate one of his greatest creations, but instead he was beaten and humiliated. As he lay unconcious, the rest of the company celebrated. He doesn't know how anyone could celebrate, and questions why they enjoyed his anguish. He says he's not a monster. His feelings have been hurt, and we've broken his heart. He's a human being too. Vince looks like he's about to cry, but Jeff Hardy's music hits!

Jeff grabs the mic from Vince and says he wants to explain it. Next week, he'll be in Iraq - and the people celebrated when Saddam fell. Jeff asks him if that sounds familiar? Hardy says they don't want to hate him, but they don't give him a choice. Vince doesn't give a damn about anyone, so nobody gives a damn about him. Vince goes to the corner of the ring and sits down, starting to cry as Raw goes to commercial... weiiiiird

    -commercial break-

Vince is still in the ring, with Regal and the refs telling him it's time to go. Hardy appears to be gone. Vince is still pouting.

Triple H's music hits, with Vince cowering in the corner still. The Game picks up the mic and tells Regal to let him handle this, because he's the closest thing Vince has left as "family." Triple H starts trying to get Vince's attention, and then tells the crowd to mark the time, because Vince has officially flipped. HHH tells him to get up and leave, but he doesnt. Triple H says he knows what Vince wants, and he'll be the bigger man. The Game apologizes for ruining the family portrait and all the other things from last week saying "my bad." HHH says "for the love of God, get out of the ring before they cancel the show." Regal comes in and says he's got a better idea. He orders HHH to show compassion and leave the ring, or he'll get security to throw him out of the building. Vince gets back to his feet with Regal's help, as Triple H looks on. Vince grabs the mic from Triple H and says he's got a better idea. He tells Regal to get Coach, but don't bother getting security. Vince says tonight, it's Regal and Coach against HHH, and he hopes something bad happens. He hopes something bad happens to each and every one of the fans.

    -commercial break-

    HHH v. Regal and Coach

All men are in their street clothes here - no wrestling gear. HHH takes out Coach first, and Regal then gets a few punches followed by a knee lift, sending him out of the ring. HHH puts Regal into the announce table, and then knocks Coach down again. Regal gets behind HHH and sends him into the stairs, and then into the ring, kicking the Game against the ringpost head first (ouch.) Regal gets back in the ring and holds HHH while Coach punches him. Regal hammers big left hands against Triple H, and puts him in a corner, only to be met with the waiting boots of the Game. HHH takes over again, hits a facebuster on Regal, and then grabs Coach. Regal goes to his coat on the outside and grabs brass knuckles, but walks right into a spinebuster as soon as he gets back in the ring. Coach grabs the brass knuckles, but Triple H walks up to him and sees him with them on. Coach gives them to Triple H, who hits Coach with them on top of the head playfully, but kicks him and then gives him the pedigree. This one is over.

    Your Winner: Triple H

    -commercial break-

Cody and Holly v. Cade and Murdoch

Cade starts off against Rhodes, and tags in Murdoch. They go back and forth until Cody tags in Holly who takes control. Holly nearly gets an Alabama Slam off, but Cade interferes and they get a double-team move off. Murdoch tags in Cade officially, who gets a 2 count, but tags in Murdoch again for their Cade/Murdoch lifting leg drop. Murdoch charges Holly only to get hit with a dropkick. Holly tags in Cody, Murdoch reaches Cade, but Cody gets an advantage and the pace goes quickly until Cody gets a bulldog and a 2 count. Murdoch once more tries to interfere, but Holly meets him and both men brawl to the outside. Cody goes for the DDT, but Cade struggles out of it, only to have Cody whip around once more for the DDT and hit it. Incredible Match.

    Your Winners: Cody and Holly

    -commercial break-

Ric Flair comes out and catches us up on his storyline. He says the Naitch doesn't get hurt. He's been in the business for 35 years, and he loves this business and being the Nature Boy. He's sacrificed a lifetime to be who he is, and walking away is not an option. His entire family has sacrifice, as he's been the most selfish man alive trying to be Ric Flair. He then talks about his old friends and new friends, mentioning everyone from Steamboat to Batista. Now, it's up to him to give us what we believe; he's got to be the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Tonight he's got the bulldozer in front of him, and if he loses, it's all over. He promises when he walks away, he's going to be the best he's can. He has to be the man... and he will not get beat without the fight of his life. He follows it up with a great quote: "If I lose tonight, thank you."

    -commercial break-

    Ric Flair v. Umaga

Umaga charges, but Flair moves and starts delivering chops. Umaga feels none of it, tosses Flair away, and then into the turnbuckle. Afterwards, there is a bonzai drop by Umaga followed by a series of headbutts and kicks to Flair's shoulder and head. A big splash by Umaga gets a 2 count. Umaga locks in the nerve hold of doom. Flair stands up but is taken down to his knees by the hold. Flair stands up, as Umaga pushes him into the corner and puts him down with a single punch. Umaga pikcs up Flair again, and puts him in the corner, but Flair meets him with an elbow. Unfortunately, Flair walks into a clothesline. Umaga misses a big splash, so Flair takes advantage with chops, only to get picked up and dropped with a Samoan Drop. Then, a Belly to belly suplex by Umaga earns him a 2 count. Umaga hits 2 more bonzai drops, and then locks in the nerve hold of doom again. Flair gets up and moves to the turnbuckle, but Umaga opens up with a series of punches and chops that send Flair down again. After another headbutt, Umaga gets to the second turnbuckle and goes for a flying headbutt, but Flair moves. The fref begins counting but both men are up at the 6 count. Flair comes up with chops, and then hits a couple of chopblocks to Umaga's legs. Flair goes for the Figure Four, but Umaga kicks him out of it and sends Ric out of the ring. Umaga follows and sends him into the ringpost head first. Flair falls down seated into the barricade, and Umaga goes for a wrecking ball on the outside, but Flair moves and Umaga smashes through the barricade into the crowd. Flair crawls back into the ring and gets the win via countout.

    Your Winner: Ric Flair

Flair grabs the mic. He says "one last thing... whoooooo."

    -commercial break-

Jericho comes out, sporting a black eye from JBL's attack on him last night at Armageddon. With mic in hand he says that last night he beat Randy Orton, and should be happy, but he beat him by DQ. He says that he had Orton within seconds of tapping out, when this happened. He instructs the "monkeys" who run the A/V stuff to show the tape of JBL attacking Jericho from last night. Jericho says that rather than standing here as champion, he stands here instead with questions. He says that he has challenged JBL to come and confront him face to face, but JBL didn't show. He says that since JBL won't come to Raw, he'll just have to go to Smackdown and get him. JBL shows up on the big screen via satellite. He says that Jericho is wasting his time, and is very low on his priority list. JBL says that plain and simple Jericho put his hands on him, and had to pay. Jericho asks JBL who he thinks he is, and lets him know that he's not the only one who has gotten beaten down. JBL talks himself up, but Jericho tells him to quit being a baby. Y2J says that he will be there on Friday to see JBL face to face. JBL says that he's a businessman, and makes deals. He lets Jericho know that he's made a deal with Vince, and that if Jericho comes to Smackdown, he won't be at the Royal Rumble, and if he puts his hands on JBL again, he'll never get another title shot. Y2J asks him what happened to the most dominant champion in Smackdown history. He tells him that he used to be counted among the greats like Undertaker, Eddie Guererro, and Batista. Now he's among the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Neil Cavuto, Joey Styles, and Michael Cole. Jericho tells him he's not a wrestling god, but an afterthought. JBL tells him that he retired, but if Jericho wants to tug on Superman's cape, then he'll come to Raw. He says that he will prove to Jericho that he is a wrestling god.

    -commercial break-

Santino Marella's music hits, and he comes out with Maria. Soon after he is followed by his partner for tonight, Carlito. London and Kendrick hit the ring, and this match is underway.

Santino Marella and Carlito v. London and Kendrick

Kendrick starts, but Carlito and Santino can't decided who should start. Santino finally says he'll do it, and he and Kendrick start to go at it. Kendrick uses his speed to get around Marella's offense, and takes him down with an armdrag takedown. Kendrick tags in London, who goes at Santino. Santino tries to put up an offense, but is taken down by a quick dropkick from London. Marella tags in Carlito, who manages to fight London into the corner and beats him to the ground. He turns to tell Marella that that's how you do it, but is caught by a hurricanrana by London. London then gets him into the corner, and tags in Kendrick. Kendrick flies off the top with a crossbody pin, but Santino breaks up the pin. London takes Santino out, but the distraction is all Carlito needs. He hits the Backstabber on Kendrick and gets the win.

Your Winners: Carlito and Santino Marella

Marella grabs the mic and starts talking about how he and his new friend will dominate, and says that Carlito likes to swap spit with those who don't like to be cool.

    -commercial break-

Grisham is in the back and introduces Randy Orton. He says he beat Chris Jericho pillar to post, and took care of the "virus." He says Hardy pulled of an upset, and that's great, but he's not just a legend-killer, he's a killer of dreams. Jeff Hardy will find out tonight just what he's got himself into.

Flair is sitting in the back, and HHH walks up to him and congratulates him for winning tonight. Vince walks up and says on New Years Eve, in two weeks, Flair's career is on the line once again. Flair... versus Triple H. Vince says "Happy New Year."

    -commercial break-

Jeff Hardy and HBK v. Randy Orton and Mr. Kennedy

Orton starts off against Hardy, as they lock up. Orton gets the upper hand with a shoulderblock that is follwed with 2 armdrags from Hardy. Orton tags in Kennedy, who is sporting a wrap on his left hand. Kennedy gets the advantage, pounding Hardy with his good hand, and favoring his left hand. Hardy hits a shoulderblock on Kennedy, and then a flip legdrop on Kennedy for a one count. Hardy hits a double legdrop and a dropkick, then throws Kennedy into the ropes, and hits a crossbody. Orton interferes but Hardy dumps him outside, as Michaels dumps Kennedy outside. Both HBK and Hardy line up and hit springing planchas to the outside on their respective opponents.

    -commercial break-

We come back to HBK getting a tag into Hardy, attacking Kennedy. Hardy misses a Whisper in the Wind, so Kennedy takes advantage and holds Hardy while he tags in Orton. Orton starts beating down Hardy, delivering fists, stomps, and knees to a reeling Jeff Hardy. Orton tags in Kennedy and continues the assault, but Hardy bounces against the ropes and hits a clothesline. Hardy gets the hot tag to Shawn who comes in and starts cleaning house, with Kennedy tagging in Orton in the meanwhile. After an Atomic drop to Orton, HBK goes after Kennedy. Kennedy, however, hits a massive clothesline, and Orton is tagged back in. Orton locks in a chinlock across HBK, and begins to wear him down. Orton tosses Michaels into the ringpost, making him do the "skin the cat" routine. Orton gets a 2 count, and starts stomping away on Michaels once again. Orton tags Kennedy back in and chokes Shawn against the middle rope. Shawn gets back up and starts hitting the chops against Kennedy, but Kennedy pounds HBK to the mat in the corner, and hits a charging boot against the Showstopper's head. Kennedy gets a 2 count, with Jeff Hardy interrupting the count. Kennedy locks in a camel-clutch on HBK. HBK fights out of it, hitting a jawbreaker on Kennedy. Michaels goes for the superkick, but Kennedy catches it and goes for the Green Bay Plunge. Shawn wiggles out, and goes for it again, but it's caught again, so Michaels hits an enziguiri. Michaels hits the tag, just as Kennedy hits the tag, so Hardy comes in and dominates Orton, hitting a suplex facebuster, but only getting a 2 count. Michaels and Kennedy brawl over the top rope to the outside. Hardy goes for a twist of fate, but Orton spins and goes for an RKO, but Hardy pushes Orton against the ropes, kicks him in the stomach, and hits the twist of fate! Hardy mounts the turnbuckle and hits the swanton! Hardy pins Orton!

    Your Winners: Hardy and HBK

HBK and Jeff Hardy celebrate as RAW goes off the air.
