The show started off with Commissioner Flaco welcoming the fans and talking about the huge Hardcore, Double ring (one wrapped in barbed wire, the other in a cage) match scheduled for the 8 Year Anniversary show in April. Mr. Frost has already qualified and somebody else will qualify tonight. He also talks about the famed Year End Awards, which will be voted on at the December 16th show.

Dante and Mike Hayashi defeated the Suburban Commandos (D-Unit and DJ Rizz) in 8:48

This was one of the first appearances, as a team, of Dante and his new protégé Hayashi and they looked really strong. After they got the win the Commandos grabbed a mic and turned their back on the fans and SPW, saying they were tired of being held down in favor of the students of the SPW Training Academy.

SPW Student Showcase Match: John Martin defeated young Josh Robertson in 6:34

This was basically a showcase match of what the students of the SPW Training Academy (run by the Big Ugly JD Bishop and his co-trainer Dante). The match was solid, back and fourth a long series of pins at the end which saw John get the win, countering a sunset flip. After the match all three Suburban Commandos came out and attacked both guys. The Commandos got on the mic and invited anybody to come out and stop them. The challenge was answered by Dante, Seito Hayashi, Virgil Flynn, and the British Messiah Timothy Thatcher (all current or former members of the Academy).

Brian Cage defeated JJ Diamond in 10:21

Brian has appeared for SPW in the past and is quickly becoming one of the most popular wrestlers in the Nor Cal scene. This was Diamond’s SPW debut. This was a good match and showed why Brian is getting so popular.

The Honor Society came out and introduced the newest member, former ref and current lawyer Superstar Ramon Clarkson. They called SPW Heavyweight Champion Adam Thornstowe out so they could return his title belt to him. Adam came out, smelled a trap, and attacked everybody. Frost cut him off and the Society set up to lay Adam out with the belt, but Adam was saved by Rik Luxury.

DJ Rizz won the Cruiserweight Open in 16:23

This match was an open invitational and featured Rizz, Virgil Flynn, El Chupacabra, the SPW debut of Sheik Khan Abadi, Azuel Angel, and Kassy Summers. The match was crazy from bell to bell and it was very clear that the issues between Virgil and Chupi are far from over. At various times anybody could have gotten the win in this one, but in the end the new, angrier Rizz was able to pin the Sheik.

Luster the Legend won the Heavyweight Open in 21:04 to earn the second spot in April’s Hardcore Cage Match

Unlike the previous match, this one was gauntlet style. Started off with Joe Applebaumer running the gauntlet on Jesus Kruze, the debuting Sideshow (out of Oregon), and the debuting Alexis Darevko (out of the Bay Area’s DMW). Joe was then taken out by Luster the Legend. Luster then went through Dan Daniels, The Greaser (out of Washington state, also making his SPW debut), and Paul Isadora.

Money Mike Rayne (w/Holly Rene) retained the Extreme Title over the British Messiah Timothy Thatcher in 11:37

Yet another great match from these two. Rayne got the win after a distraction from Holly. That lead to Kassy Summers running out and going after her. It is apparent that Kassy really wants Holly to earn her spot in SPW and next month she will get her chance. This has really turned into a great feud.

The Honor Society (Sir Samurai and Mr. Frost with Superstar Ramon Clarkson) defeated Scum Personified (Rik Luxury and Rock Legend Scum Adam Thornstowe) in 17:24 to retain the Tag Titles

This was a battle of the two best singles wrestlers around against the self proclaimed top tag team. The crowd heat for the match was insane. The society brought Ramon out in his ref shirt “just in case” anything happened to the actual ref. Just when it looked like Scum Personified would win the belts Ramon distracted the ref and El Chupacabra came out and distracted Rik Luxury. This allowed Frost to use the belt to knock Adam out, after Adam had knocked Samurai out with a Superkick, countering the TSC attempt.

So, following this show the following can be announced for December 16th at St. Peter’s Hall….

For the SPW Heavyweight Title Rock Legend Scum Adam Thornstowe vs Mr. Frost.

The Suburban Commandos vs John Martin, Josh Robertson and a mystery partner

El Chupacabra and Sir Samurai vs Rik Luxury and Virgil Flynn

Money Mike Rayne and Holly Rene take on the British Messiah Timothy Thatcher and Kassy Summers.

Plus the December 16th show will be your only chance to vote in the Year End Awards AND the wrestlers only chance to vote for you for fan of the year? You want to win? Bring lots of people with you! You put extra butts in the seats and the wrestlers are sure to vote your way
