WWE News: Overnight SmackDown! rating, Royal Rumble ticket plans, 2008 HOF news, more

• This past Friday’s edition of SmackDown! Scored a 2.8 fast national rating, the final number will be out this week.
  
  
• As of last word, the Royal Rumble is slated to be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Officials within the WWE expect it to be a near-instant sellout, they are going to continue focusing on selling on WrestleMania tickets. Royal Rumble tickets are expected to go on sale the last weekend in December, but that could change as time goes by.
  
  
• Ticket sales for the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony remain to be unknown. WWE has, yet, to begin working on the inductee ideas. The general belief is that Ric Flair will be the guest of honor this March in Orlando, Florida.
