WWE House Show Results from Melbourne, Australia 11-10-07

Show kicked off with Regal vs. Codey Rhodes, Rhodes was really over with the crowd and ended up with the win over Regal after he hit his top rope cross-body.

Next up was Snitsky vs. Kendrick, it was the longest match I've ever seen Snitisky in, about 10 mins, and he won with the pumphandle slam.

Jillian Hall then came out to sing to us in the style of Kylie Minogue, she was interrupted by Santino Marella who was WAY over with the crowd, he mentioned Italy beating Australia in the world cup and then sung a duet with Jillian until Hacksaw Jim Duggan came out waving an American flag, a kid in the audience had an Australian flag so Duggan swapped flags and waved the Aussie flag instead. The match itself was fairly boring but the crowd enjoyed saying "HOOOOOOOO" every couple of minutes. Hacksaw eventually got the win after his running shoulder tackle or whatever you want to call it.

Next up was a triple threat match for the WWE Tag Team Championships, Highlanders vs. WGTT vs. Cade + Murdoch. Fairly boring match with a good couple of spots from Shelton when he dove over the top rop to the outside and also when he ran and jumped onto the top turnbuckle. Cade + Murdoch picked up the win after Shelton superplexed Robbie and Cade tagged himself in.

Intermission

During the intermission me and my friend moved up to the ringside seating area instead of the crappy seats we had.

After the intermission

Kennedy vs. Hardcore Holly. Nothing much here as Kennedy eventually got the win by using the ropes, highlight of this match was when Kennedy looked up for the mic and nothing happened, Tony Chimel held the mic above Kennedy until he spat water in his face.

Then up next we had a Women's Championship match, best 2 out of 3 falls. Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James, (by the way Mickie James was looking fan-f***ing-tastic) anyway back to the match, Beth with the first pin after a powerbomb, Mickie with the second pin after a roll-up and then Beth with the final fall after the muscle buster.

Tony Chimel announces a new attendance record, about 15,200.

Main Event time, WWE Champion Randy Orton + Umaga vs. HHH + Jeff Hardy. Crowd went nuts for everybody but especially Hardy and HHH. Good back and forth with HHH and Hardy isolating Orton, after a while Hardy nails the TOF and goes up and hits Orton with the Swanton Bomb, Umaga runs in and gives Hardy the Samoan Spike. Orton manages to tag in Umaga who goes for the cover but Jeff kicks out, Orton and Umaga continue to work on Hardy until Jeff manages to mounts some offence and eventually tag in HHH. HHH with the high knee to Orton, followed by his other knee drop move to Umaga, AA spinebuster to both Umaga and Orton, Umaga rolls out of the ring but Hardy jumps the ropes and lands on Umaga, HHH with the pedigree on Orton for the 1...2...3. HHH and Hardy stay in the ring and see which side can cheer the loudest, they then high 5 everyone in the front rows before leaving and then pose like DX except Hardy dances with the belt infront of HHH.

Good night and well worth going especially after I got ringside seats.
