The show opens with the announcement of a couple of matches we have for
    tonight:
    Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay
Undertaker vs. The Great Khali - No Holds Barred

*Jesse and Festus vs. Deuce and Domino w/ Cherry vs. Shannon Moore and Jimmy
Wang Yang vs. The Major Brothers vs. Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre*

    *Tag Team Battle Royal*

*Winners become the #1 Contender's to the WWE Tag Team Championships and get
a match later tonight against MVP and Matt Hardy*

In order for a team to be eliminated, only one member has to be thrown over
the top and to the floor.

The bell rings and Festus goes crazy, hitting several power moves and even
launching Jimmy Wang Yang into the air…Then, Deuce throws Jesse through the
ropes before Festus comes over to attack him. Then, everyone teams up on
Festus and gets rid of him – Jesse and Festus are gone. Following that,
everyone separates back out into their own battles rather quickly. Yang and
Moore take Dave Taylor into the corner and hit a few moves – poetry in
motion and flipping kick. One of the Majors is trying to get rid of Domino
as McIntyre tries to get rid of Yang. For a short while, everyone's kind of
off with one other opponent holding them against the ropes trying to
eliminate them. Dave Taylor finally gets Moore away from him and tries to
help his partner get rid of Yang, but Yang stays in. Taylor leaves and
Moore attempts to eliminate McIntyre, but to no avail. Moore and Yang
double team McIntyre and the Majors are fighting with Deuce and Domino in
the corner. Taylor gets Yang up, but can't throw him over the top. Yang
attacks Taylor, but Deuce knocks him off before going back to the double
team on one of the Majors as the other Major is occupied by Taylor. Then,
Deuce and Domino leave and attack Moore and Yang before the Majors double
team Taylor and then one of the Majors goes off to take out McIntyre who
tries to eliminate him, but nothing comes of it. Yang jumps up on McIntyre
in the corner and punches him in the face before going to the apron and
kicking him in the face. Then, he goes to the top where Dave uppercuts him
to the floor – eliminating Moore and Yang.

Back from commercial, everyone's in a corner trying to eliminate an
opponent. Domino is trying to eliminate McIntyre and one of the Majors
tries to help him, but the other Major clotheslines Taylor over the top
eliminating Taylor and McIntyre. Deuce and Domino quickly take control of
the match from there, knocking the Majors down before proceeding to stomp on
them several times. Deuce gets Brett in the corner and chokes him as Domino
has Brian on the other side of the ring and leg drops him before getting him
in the corner and choking him. One of the Majors sends Deuce to the apron
where he tries to eliminate him, but is stopped by Domino. Domino hits a
double knee lift to one of the Majors before they double team the other one
with a weird vertical Suplex along with a jump off the top by Deuce at the
Major's legs. Deuce and Domino have complete control now and they whip one
of the Majors into the ropes and run at him. He ducks down and flips both
over the top by pulling the rope down.

    *Winners: Brett and Brian Major*

    * *

*Rating: 2/5 – It was okay, but slow at times and I don't get the logic in
eliminating Jesse and Festus first. I don't think the match made anyone
look really good…maybe Deuce and Domino as they controlled the end, but
outside of that, Jesse and Festus were eliminated early – though Festus did
look strong for the short time he was in there – and Moore and Yang are a
new team who looked decent in the match. McIntyre and Taylor could be a
good heel team and they looked decently strong in the match, but it didn't
take much for Taylor to be eliminated. The Majors won and it looked like a
really lucky win, so it didn't look like they really beat anybody. Also,
it's next to impossible to tell the Majors apart.*

    * *

Torrie and Michelle are talking about whether something is going on between
Michelle and Chuck…Michelle says there's not and then Chuck comes up and
hugs Michelle from behind before Victoria and Kenny walk up. Some words are
exchanged about "riding" before there's almost a fight, but Victoria and
Michelle are pulled away. They have a match tonight.

Khali's debut where he attacked the Undertaker is shown.

Michelle McCool w/ Chuck Palumbo vs. Victoria w/ Kenny Dykstra

They circle each other and lock up to start the match. Michelle headlocks
Victoria before she is pushed into the ropes. Michelle comes off the ropes
with a shoulder block, sending Victoria to the mat. She pins, but only gets
a one before hitting another shoulder block and getting the same result from
the pin.. Michelle begins to twist Victoria's arm before Victoria pulls her
down by her hair and starts twisting Michelle's arm. Michelle kicks
Victoria a few times and runs at the corner, runs up it, and does a back
flip to get out of the arm wringer. She knocks Victoria's legs away and
goes for a pin but only gets two.. Victoria throws Michelle through the
ropes and drives her into the guard rail with her shoulder before throwing
her back in. Victoria kicks her before getting a one count from the
pin. Victoria goes back to back with Michelle and pulls her up by her hair
before hitting a float over vertical suplex, but only gets a two on the pin.
Victoria whips Michelle and ducks before getting kicked. Then, Michelle clotheslines
her before dropkicking her a couple of times and chopping her a few times.
Michelle whips her and hits a big boot followed by a pin and a two count. Michelle
goes for a chick kick, but Kenny pulls Victoria out. Chuck attacks Kenny
before the women get back in the ring. Victoria hits a DDT – basically out
of nowhere there – and wins.

    *Winner: Victoria by pin fall.*

    * *

*Rating – 1/5 – this did what it was supposed to do in showing Victoria and
Kenny to be heels who aren't afraid to cheat to win and showed that Michelle
could beat Victoria, but almost every move they did looked somewhat clumsy
    and awkward.*

Rey is backstage and says to the interview that Finlay doesn't know Rey
Mysterio. He says Rey Mysterio fear no man and certainly not Finlay. Rey
says he has no compassion for his opponent when he steps in the ring. He
kicks in and out of Spanish annoyingly and says he was raised to win. He's
"doing this for my people because my people are me".

    The mystery promo airs.

Punk is backstage with Vickie before Noble walks up. He thanks Vickie for
the Mysterio DVD. Then, he holds up a video called Jamie Noble The Greatest
Little Man and says it has something special for Vickie. Punk makes fun of
him using VHS – he calls it "retro" and says he's a big fan of Noble. He
says that his matches the last few weeks have been awesome. Then, Noble
goes into a rant about all that Vickie has put him through and asks if Punk
has ever had to face competition like he has. Then, he says beating Punk
would be easy as pie. Punk says he likes pie and Vickie says who doesn't
like pie. Then, she says they have a match tonight. Then, Noble starts in
on her about needing time to prepare and strategize and he takes his tape
    back.

    *Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay*

Mysterio gives his shirt to a kid.

They circle the ring and eventually lock up and Finlay gets backed into a
corner and then they go across and Finlay's in the other corner. Finlay
shoves Mysterio in bully fashion. They circle a bit again and lock up
before Finlay does a Khali vise-like move, taking Mysterio down. Then, he
elbows Rey in the face before trash talking and slapping him. Mysterio
kicks and punches Finlay, backing him into the corner and then pulls him out
in a front facelock-type move. Finlay clotheslines him and then gets a one
count from a pin before going back to the vise-like move. Finlay lets go
and backs Rey into the corner where he slaps him and punches him a few
times. Then, he whips Rey across the ring and follows but gets kicked. Rey
hits a hurracanrana on Finlay, sending himover the top before hitting a
baseball slide and then a moonsault onto Finlay out on the floor before we
    go to commercial.

We come back from the commercial and Mysterio has Finlay in the corner and
hits a dropkick before kicking and stomping him to the floor before running
and hitting a baseball slide. Mysterio goes to the outside and punches
Finlay in the head a few times. Finlay finally turns it around with a kick
before getting out and throwing Rey back in. Finlay then hits a hard
European uppercut and a stomp to Rey's midsection before pinning, but only
for a two count. He picks Rey up and uppercuts him again before doing a
short arm clothesline and then his move where he runs and sits/stomps on his
opponent. Then, Finlay pins, but only gets a two count Rey gets to the
corner and Finlay follows and Rey hits him a few times backing him across
the ring where Finlay grabs Rey and tosses him into the middle turnbuckle. Rey
goes down and Finlay gets out before bouncing Rey chest/face-first off the
apron. (Rey's still in the ring) Finlay gets in the ring and Rey's on all
fours. Finlay kicks him in the face before stomping on him. Then, he helps
Rey up with his arm and whips, but Rey holds the ropes. Rey jumps onto
Finlay's shoulders and goes for a hurracanrana, but Finlay power bombs him
into the corner. Rey rolls out and after a few seconds, Finlay follows. Rey
finally gets up. Finlay picks Rey up and runs him into the apron before
rolling him in and following. Finlay pins, but only gets another two count.
Finlay knees Rey in the back and pins for another two. Finlay gets Rey to
his feet and hits a scoop slam into the ropes. Finlay locks in a Boston
crab. Rey gets near the ropes, but Finlay pulls him back away from
    them. Finlay
lets go and drives a knee into Rey's back before pinning him for another
two. Finlay slides Rey out/ pushes him out with his foot before throwing
him into the guard rail and then sliding him back into the ring. Finlay
kicks Rey in the back a few times after Rey looks like he might be getting
up before locking in another Boston crab. Rey gets to the ropes. Finlay
stomps on Rey several times. Finlay goes to stomp on Rey again, but Rey
uses the ropes to kick Finlay in the stomach. Finlay hits him in the back
and then picks him up before whipping him to the corner. Rey goes over
Finlay and rolls him up for a two count. He backs Finlay into the corner
with some kicks to Finlay's legs. He goes to punch Finlay in the head, but
Finlay drops him onto the exposed turnbuckle and pins for another two count.
The ref goes to fix the turnbuckle and Finlay goes for the shillelagh, but
Rey hits a dropkick and pins, but only for a two. Rey avoids a move and
springboards into a cross body before a dropkick and another pin for a two
count. Rey hits a seated senton followed by a running knee to Finlay's
face. Rey comes off the ropes again, but Finlay hits him with a
clothesline. Finlay gets another two count with the pin. Finlay gets Rey
up. However, Rey drop toeholds him into the ropes, but misses a 619. Rey
then kicks Finlay in face. Springboard seated senton again for another two
count. Finlay gets up first and goes for a back suplex. Rey dropkicks him
in position and hits 619. Rey goes for the West Coast Pop, but Finlay
knocks him off the top. Finlay then hits a Celtic cross followed by a pin
    for the win.

    *Winner: Finlay by pin fall*

*Rating: 3.5/5 – this was a good match and was actually fairly long for a
free TV match. It showed that Rey "will not die" – to quote Matt Hardy –
and showed that Finlay is ruthless. *

Finlay slides Rey under the bottom rope before pulling the top of the
announce table off and then hits Rey with a laptop before running him
stomach first into the ring post and getting his shillelagh before going
back to rey. The ref tells him to leave and he ends up doing so.

Kane losing to Khali by the vise grip is shown.

    *CM Punk vs. Jamie Noble*

They circle the ring and lock up. Punk goes for Noble's leg, but Noble gets
a headlock and takes him down with it, but Punk gets back up and turns it
around before Noble gets out and hits Punk a few times. Punk then kicks
Noble a few times, taking him down. Noble blocks one, but is pushed out of
the ring. Noble gets to the apron and gets a triangle dropkick – ala Chris
Jericho – from Punk followed by a dive through the ropes. Punk slides him
in and Noble ends up hitting a neck breaker before stomping on Punk and then
going to a cobra clutch. In the clutch, Noble knees Punk a few times and
hits a Russian leg sweep. They get back up and Punk runs at the ropes
causing Noble to hit them and kicks Noble a few times before hitting a
suplex and follows with a pin, but only gets a two count. Noble knees Punk
and gets a double underhook before kneeing him in the head a few times and
running off the ropes but Punk hits him in the stomach and kicks him in the
head a few times before whipping him to the corner and doing his jumping
knee/bulldog combo before going for the GTS before Miz comes out. Punk puts
Miz down, but then Morrison comes in. Then, Punk hits the GTS on Morrison
before Noble comes in and hits an odd variation of the GTS. Noble is the
only one to WALK out of the ring following this.

    * *

    *Winner: CM Punk by disqualification*

    * *

*Rating: 3/5 – This match was good…fairly short, but good. I'd like to see
it again honestly without interference and a little more time to work with.
Punk looked superior, but not by much and not the whole time. Overall, it
was a good match. Had it been just a tad longer and had an actual clean
end, it would've been better, in my opinion, than Finlay vs. Rey earlier.*

    * *

A Hell in a Cell video package is played before Batista's music hits. JBL
leaves the announce desk to "take a phone call" as Batista gets into the
    ring.

Batista tells Undertaker they're not friends and don't like each other. He
says he's pulling for him against Khali tonight because he doesn't want him
weakened for Survivor Series. He says he wants Undertaker to bring it when
they get in the cell. He says he's putting everything on the line in the
Cell before dropping the mike and leaving.

*Matt Hardy and MVP vs. The Major Brothers*

    *WWE Tag Team Championship Match*

Matt locks up with one of the Majors and they exchange arm wringers before
Matt is whipped. The legal Major ducks and is kicked before taking Matt
down and goes back to the arm wringer before tagging out. The other Major
continues the arm wringing after he flips over Matt and rolls him up for
only a two count. Matt whips him to the corner and hits his
clothesline/bulldog combo for a two count. Hardy hits an elbow to the back
of the head of the legal Major and hits a side effect before MVP tags
himself in forcefully. MVP stomps on the legal Major and hits a snap suplex
followed by a pin, but only gets a two count. MVP fakes a tag to humiliate
Matt. He whips the legal Major into the corner and taunts before running
into an elbow and then a boot. Then, the legal Major hits a flying senton.
Both men are down, but then MVP gets up and gives the illegal Major a hard
running kick to the head before hitting the legal Major with the Playmaker
    for the win.

    *Winners: Matt Hardy and MVP*

    * *

*Rating: 1/5 – short and kind lame to be honest. Plus, the team who beat
all the other teams on SmackDown! not much more than an hour before was
squashed which made even less sense to me than Jesse and Festus being the
    first team eliminated.*

Video is shown of Khali making Batista pass out to the vise grip.

We take a look at The Fabulous Moolah through a video package/
    mini-documentary.

They go over the card for Survivor Series.

*Undertaker vs. The Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh*

    *No Holds Barred*

As the bell rings, Undertaker ducks Khali's clotheslines and punches him a
few times before ducking another clothesline. This happens a couple of more
times with 'Taker backing him into the corner and hitting old school. He
ducks a clothesline again and hits a clothesline this time. Undertaker
pins, but only gets a two count from it. Singh is on the apron and jumps
off when 'Taker goes at him. Commercial already?!?!

Coming back, Khali is stomping 'Taker to the ground in the corner. Khali
lifts him up and hits an elbow to his head, causing 'Taker to stumble across
the ring. Undertaker punches at Khali, but Khali head butts him, sending
him into the corner. Khali stomps him down and chokes him with his foot
before taking him to the middle of the ring and hitting a big head butt. Khali
knocks 'Taker down and pins, but only gets a two count. Khali punches
'Taker and he comes back with punches, kicks, and head butts into the corner
until Khali head butts him a couple of times and clotheslines him. Khali
pins, but again only gets a two count. Khali vise grip to Taker's
    trap. Undertaker
begins to stand and then punches his way out before punching Khali several
times into the corner where he alternates between punches and kicks before
backing up and running at Khali, but he is knocked down. Khali waits and
hits Taker with a brain chop before doing a vise grip to Taker's head. Taker
punches out of the vise grip again. He ducks a clothesline and hits another
choke slam. Undertaker pins, but only gets a two. Taker signals for a
tombstone with the throat cut. He goes for it, but Khali clubs him in the
back of the neck and hits the choke drop. He then stands over 'Taker and
raises his hands, but Undertaker sits up. Khali bends down and 'Taker locks
him into a triangle choke. After a moment, Khali taps.

*Winner: Undertaker by submission (triangle choke).*

    * *

*Rating: 1.5/5 – The triangle at the end looked awkward as Khali is just so
huge and the match itself wasn't much to watch really to be honest. The
choke slams were rather weak looking as well. That said, Undertaker was
made to look extremely dangerous as he ended the match after the choke drop
and from his back – as JBL told us MANY times after the fact.*

It takes Khali a while to start moving again and he doesn't get up before
the show goes off the air.

*Overall, this was a decent show. It didn't suck by any means, but it
wasn't extremely awesome or anything. Some things didn't make any sense
(the tag team battle royal and the tag team match later), but some things
were really good (Finlay vs. Rey and Noble vs. Punk). So, this show will
    get a rating of…3/5.*
