ECW Results 11-06-07

    Tonight’s ECW report is done by Christopher Huynh due to the absent of my friend (MIK) who usually does the ECW report. He is out with a fever and I have stepped forward for him for tonight’s ECW report.

    Tonight’s ECW is Located at Bakersfield, California

    Memory of Fabulous Moolah shows

    Promo of the Long Rivalry of Punk and Morrison shows. It shows matches that they both have been in together in there long rivalry.

    Don’t Question my heart plays.

    Kane Pyro goes off and out comes the Big Red Machine while Joey styles and Tazz greet us to ECW.

    Mark Henry intro plays.

    They Show the result in the battle royal last week.

    Match #1: Kane vs. Mark Henry

    Kane Starts to take the early lead with uppercuts, but Henry comes back with some hard fists Kane gets the advantage and goes for the boot to get stopped by a slam. Henry continues to dominate Kane and works him into the corner of the ring and repeatedly slams him into the turnbuckle. Kane battles out, but Henry Comes back and whips him into the other corner to press all his weight on Kane. Kane returns the favor with an Uppercut. Henry get the best of it and whips Kane right into the turnbuckle Kane comes back and goes for the signature Top of the rope clothesline and gets Henry into the corner to repeatedly clothesline and gets Henry into a chokeslam position but Henry kicks Kane to get out of it. Henry exits the ring to get a steel chair. He returns to the ring and whacks Kane with it. Ref DQ’s Henry

    Winner by DQ: Kane

    My Rating: 4/5 This was a great match that went both ways and I loved the distribution of the attacks.

    Post match: Henry attacks Kane and slams him into the chair and Henry exits

    Show Promo of Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

    Also the Main Event Punk vs. Morison

    -Commercial-

    Wrestlmania 24 Promo goes off showing fans that were in line for the tickets.

    Jamie Noble Intro plays while Tazz and Joey state the deal between ECW and Smackdown.

    Nunzio intro plays

    Match #2: Jamie Nobel vs. Nunzio

    Power match goes on and Nobel has full body lock on Nunzio and they switch having arm bars on each other until Nobel get the best of it. Nobel Gets a slam in only to get a 2 count noble starts to dominate Nunzio into the ropes into a backbreaker and goes for headlock and starts pounding on his head and goes back into a head lock. Nunzio gets back into the game and it leads right into the corner to do a seated senton I guess. Nunzio gets a little momentum but noble gets back and picks Nunzio up on his shoulders to drop his gut into his knee and gets the 3 count.

    Winner: Jamie Nobel

    Match Rating: 3/5 it was alright but was a little boring on some of the action though it kept a nice balance of momentum.

    Main event shows

    Rivalry promo plays between Morrison and Punk with Morrison doing to commentary.

    Kelly Kelly is shown backstage and Joey tells us that she is facing Layla Next.

    Promo for Survivor Series between undertaker and Batista in the Hell in the cell Match for the World Heavyweight title plays

    Save_us.222 promo shows asking us if we cold break the code.

    The Miz is out in the ring with Layla

    Kelly Kelly intro plays she looks hurt from last night’s incident with Beth Phoenix

    Miz tells Kelly that he told Kelly Kelly that he would make her life miserable and admits that he put her in that match against Beth Phoenix and that tonight she had to face Layla.

    Match #3: Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

    Layla takes an early advantage when Kelly was distracted. Layla is completely dominating Kelly and slams her down hard onto the mat for the quick victory.

    Winner: Layla

    My Rating: 1.5/5 I have to give it this because it to ended so quickly that you could of missed it if you blinked. But in ways it was still unique being the only diva match on ECW for quite some time.

    Post Match Balls Mahoney comes out and saves Kelly and calls Miz into the ring but Miz fakes getting in and walks backstage.

    Yet another Promo of the heated rivalry between Morrison and Punk plays. It shows trials that Punk had to go through to get the title.

    Main Event is again stated

    -Commercial-

    Joey and Tazz show a promo of Rey’s new DVD, “The Biggest Little Man”, and shows a little preview when Rey Mysterio fought Psychosis. They announce a rematch between Rey and Finlay

    Elijah Burke intro plays while Shannon Moore waits in the ring.

    Match #4: Elijah Burke vs. Shannon Moore

    They begin to duke it out and Elijah gets the upper hand but Moore comes back quickly and does a high flying move and goes for the pin but only get the two count. He starts working on Elijah in the turnbuckle and Whips him into the other Turnbuckle but Burke gets back into the game and starts to come back and gets Moore into the Turnbuckle to do his signature elbow drop and gets Moore into the Elijah express and he goes for the pin to get the 1-2-3.

    Winner: Elijah Burke

    My Rating: 3/5 The match was ok but it was complete domination.

    Up next is the main event for the ECW Championship CM. Punk vs. John Morrison

    Tazz and Styles give a little air time to talk about The Fabulous Moolah.

    WWE shop promo plays

    Miz is seen backstage talking to Morrison and Morrison reminds the Miz about his lose against Punk and mocks him for not treating his women right. Miz returns the favor by stating Morrison isn’t going to win either.

    Monday Night Raw’s main event between DX vs. Randy Orton and Umaga plays showing how DX won.

    Shows Randy backstage after the match with Regal talking about how Michaels now cannot use the sweet chin music at Survivor Series and if he does he will never get another shot. Also if Orton intentionally gets himself DQ’d he will lose the championship.

    They show all the matches for Survivor Series

    John Morrison’s intro plays

    Tazz promotes Survivor Series while waiting for Punks entrance.

    Showing promo for WWE Championship match at Survivor Series

    C.M. Punk with his ECW Championship enters.

    Match #5: ECW Championship C.M. Punk vs. John Morrison

    Test of strength begins and Punk whips Morrison off of him but Morrison counters. Morrison whips punk but punk kicks Morrison which leads to the top rope with cm punk going for the hurricanrana but Morrison counter and goes for the pin to only get the disappointing 2. Morrison starts to aim at Punks head and gets him into a double handed neck lock and starts kicking Punk in the back of the neck. Punk gets out by pressing Morrison in the turnbuckle and Morrison runs right at punk only to get hit by a kick and punk gets a big move on Morrison only to get a 2. Punk does a series of kicks and whips on Morrison to lead up to the turnbuckle to attempt the shining wizard trick but Morrison counters and punk hits some kicks and goes for the pin and gets a two count. Miz enters the arena. Punk goes for a backslide pin only to get Morrison into the GTS position and Morrison turns it into a backslide pin but gets a 2 count. Morrison takes advantage but is distracted by the Miz who throws something at Morrison’s head for a quick roll up pin for Punk to get the 1-2-3.

    Winner: CM Punk

    My Rating: 4/5 This was an amazing match with comeback after comeback but I wished that it would have ended differently. Kind of cheap that the Miz costs this match. Wondering to see where this Morrison/Miz leads to.
