WWE News: Chris Jericho appearance, Jericho/SmackDown rumor, and more

• There is an article in Newsday which stated that Jericho is rumored to be making an appearance tonight at the Nassau Coliseum for the SmackDown tapings tonight. Jericho is in the city doing a signing at Barnes & Nobles at 5 pm. From a timing standpoint, he could very well make the tapings tonight. However, if Jericho returns one would expect it to take place live on RAW.
  
  
• Speaking of Chris Jericho, he will be appearing on Daytime NBC on channel 8 in Tampa this Thursday at 10 am.
  
  
• In regards to Matt Hardy, there is no word on whether he will return to action tonight at the SmackDown tapings. WWE officials are still hopeful he will be cleared to work tonight.
