    SPW Halloween Show Results
Sunday October 28th - St. Peter's Hall in Sacramento, Ca.

**Special thanks to "SPW Reporter" at NorCal uncensored.**

Dark Match - John Martin and "Scoot" Josh Robertson defeated Oregon's "Dancing" Tom Celcious and "Danger" Dan Daniels in a tag team match. The young man named "Scoot" can't be much more than 18 (if that) - but the youngster took some tough chops, and the team of John and Josh win by rollup.

Familiar music hit the gym at St. Peter's and... MVP entered? Much to my surprise, the "Halloween Battle Royal" featured almost every wrestler available in a "Halloween outfit", which were all wrestling personalities! What an awesome idea for a match, and a great way to really get the crowd going. MVP, Boogey Man, Fit Finlay, Papa Shango, ICP, Nacho Libre, Great Khali, the Spirit Squad, Mankind, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Sting, and even Umaga (Mr. Frost) - who doesn't job even in an Indy fed!

Apparently, by winning the Battle Royal, Mr. Frost of The Honor Society earns the first spot in next April's Hardcore Cage Match. The winner of that goes on to the Supreme Seven Series, which could earn him a SPW Title Shot.

The second match of the evening saw the Suburban Commandos defeat Luster the Legend, Ryan Drago, and Wage. Drago walked out on his team mates, and after the Commandos came away with the win - the remaining two teammates of Luster and Wage attacked each other.

Money Mike Rayne defeated Timothy Thatcher to win the SPW Extreme Title. This match saw a heel turn by the lovely timekeeper Holly, who delivered a nutshot to Thatcher after he attempted to "save her" from the evil Rayne.

The Honor Society (the Tag Team Champions) defeated the massive Joe Applebaumer, who is a tag team unto himself with his massive girth. The referee seemed to be on the take, and apparently the Honor Society paid him off to make sure they were the winners! What dastardly heel tactics!

Sitting in the corner of the gym throughout the night were the HARDCORE LEGENDS - the Gangstas! Both New Jack and Mustafa were in attendance, and Mr. Jack took the time to get in the middle of the ring and cut a promo about how "everybody be stealin' my shit!" and pointed out that The Gangsta's "invented the X" and that DX had stolen their gimmick. New Jack and Mustafa stayed in the ring through the intermission, and offered photos and autographs for $10. Interest was minimal.

The semi-Main Event of the evening saw an exciting four way dance between Big Ugly, Virgil Flynn, El Chupacabra, and Dante. Virgil and Chupacabra got pinned at the same time and continued to fight to the back, which stopped the entire show until they could be seperated. Big Ugly and Dante returned to the ring and gave each other some stiff shots before Big Ugly was able to overpower the smaller Dante. After the match, the two shook hands in the middle of the ring.

Finally... THE MAIN EVENT - a 60 Minute Hardcore Title match!

Reno Scum Adam Thornstowe defeated Wrestling Personified Rik Luxury 3 Falls to 2 to retain the SPW Heavyweight Title in the Supreme Seven Series.

This match was crazy from start to finish. In the end Adam needed seven stitches in his head and Rik needed seven stitches in his chin. Highlights include Adam coming OVER the entrance way onto Rik and a Table, and Rik Luxury doing an elbow drop off of a basketball hoop. One of the sickest thing I have seen in a long time occurred during this match - when Thornstowe set up Luxury's head on the steel chair - then slipped a giant clay pot over it. Luxury kneeled with his head in the clay pot - on the chair - while Thornstowe ascended to the top rope and jumped down and delivered a CLAY POT CURB STOMP! Wow! Luxury's neck could have been seriously injured with this move - but "Wrestling Personified" worked through it.

The downside of the match was SPW Tag Team Champions, the Honor Society coming out at the 44 minute mark - and attacking both men, then leaving with the SPW Heavyweight Title. The final minute of the match was as good as anything you will see anywhere as the two men exchanged repeated blows before each going for power moves. Finally, Luxury went for the Kryptonite Krunch, only to have Thornstowe block it into a pin, and break the tie in the final second. After the match the two men embraced, showed respect for each other and SPW in general, and vowed to destroy the "Homo Society" and take their tag titles on November 25th in St. Peter's Hall.

The above match was a clear ****1/2* match anywhere on the planet. The two combatants gave it their all, and told a great story through a wonderful mix of psychology, high spots, and a ridiculous work-rate. These two men are to be commended, and have proven themselves as people to keep an eye on!
