WWE News: Last minute Cyber Sunday changes, Update on Ric Flair, and more
Submitted by Luis Perez on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 8:57 PM EST
- Shortly after Cyber Sunday began airing on PPV, WWE.com posted an article stating that Matt Hardy would not be allowed to compete in his match with MVP due to a head injury he suffered this past Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings. As the show aired, they announced to the fans that Hardy would not be competing and gave fans the option of voting for MVP’s opponent, in a non-title match.
- Prior to Cyber Sunday airing live on PPV, Jesse & Festus defeated Duece & Domino in a dark match.
- Ric Flair is being advertised in local commercials for the SmackDown tour of Northern Ireland. The event is on December 4th, and due to the first night selling out they added another show for the following night.
