    THE WRESTLING MENU #249

Welcome one and all to the 249th edition of The Wrestling Menu, the column that is sure to satisfy your taste buds when it comes to discussing all things wrestling.

I don't have a great deal to speak about here today. I'm flat chat at work, busy elsewhere & nothing sporting related is tickling my fancy right now. Plus, if I started talking about the NFL, I'd go on & on about the conference playoff system & trust me, you don't want to get me started!

I originally wrote a piece about Triple H & the WWE Championship scene at the moment, but due to my being able to watch Raw as it aired in Australia this week, I thought I would replace that with a Raw review of sorts. Don't stress though, H will get what's coming to him next week!

So with what may end up being my longest 'Appetizers' section ever (for chronological ordering purposes), it's on with the show.....

    APPETIZERS

    'Bound For Glory’ Review

For those that cannot recall my previous PPV review columns, this is the key that explains what the final PPV Rating means:

<50: Ask for a refund for not only your money, but also your time. [F] (Armageddon '04)
50-54: Mediocre & disappointing. [D] (EG: No Way Out '07)
    55-59: Average. [C] (EG: Vengeance ’07)
    60-64: Worth A Watch. [C+] (EG: No Mercy ‘07)
65-69: Good event that was worth the money. [B] (EG: WrestleMania 23)
70-74: Very good. [B+] (EG: Great American Bash '07)
75-79: Make sure you add this ppv to your video or dvd collection. [A] (EG: Backlash '07)
80+: Make sure that the video or DVD is locked in a safe & cannot be erased. Memorable. [A+]

HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ defeated ELIX SKIPPER & SENSHI in an Ultimate X Match: While there is an initial pair-off inside & outside the ring, it is a pleasant surprise to see all 4 men in the ring for most of the bout. It was also good to see LAX clearly playing the face role as it helped to get the crowd involved which is always very important for a ppv opener. All early attempts to recover the 'X' don't really get close, until a LAX member awkwardly just hang there for 20 seconds or so waiting for a spot to occur at about the 6 minute mark. Skipper gets him down & then plays his part in 2 huge spots as he performs a cross-body from the top of one of the 4 corner towers, then soon after is involved in a neck-breaker from the cables down to the mat!

Not to be outdone, Senshi hits his awesome Warriors Way double stomp, only to be taken out by a Hernandez Border Toss that leads to the big fella climbing up & getting the 'X' for the victory at the 12 minute mark. An excellent beginning to the pay-per-view, even if some extra time could have made it even better in isolation. It actually included many more spots than I described, but it somehow didn't come off as a spotty bout & I think a lot of that can be put down to a very good performance from Senshi who kept the bout grounded both figuratively & literally to some extent. Entertaining & well-performed. Match Rating: 8

ERIC YOUNG Won a 16 Man 'Fight For The Right' Match: Absolutely ridiculous rules see the first 8 (of 16) men to climb over the top-rope & into the ring take part in a battle royal. This leads to some totally illogical situations that defy reality & the 3 minutes it took hardly seems worth describing. At the beginning of the normal 8 man battle royal, Eric Young immediately eliminates James Storm & then takes part in some comedy hijinks with Junior Fatu that did make me see some resemblance between Young & Scotty 2 Hotty. Too bad it's not 1997 though! The former Rikishi then dominates everyone with his usual butt use obviously playing a part. Lance Hoyt hits him with a big boot though & this leads to all 6 men remaining to team up & finally eliminate the Samoan.

Fantastic teamwork from Sabin & Shelley then highlights the bout with a number of crisp & swift double-team moves. Unfortunately, Kaz eliminates Sabin & then gets taken out by Robert Roode soon after. Roode then eliminates Hoyt & survives a double-team to also eliminate Shelley, leaving him to face his old nemesis in Eric Young yet again after 7 minutes worth! This leads to a standard 1 on 1 bout between the 2 where nothing of any note occurs & then Young rolls the larger man up for the victory. 12 minutes all up, I suppose this didn't take up too much time & was relatively entertaining at times. However, in essence, it was an illogical mess with only the Motor City Machine Guns coming out with their reputations intact. A tough one to rate & anything between 4.5 & 7 could be argued. Match Rating: 6

AJ STYLES & TOMKO defeated RON 'THE TRUTH' KILLINGS & RASHEED 'CONSEQUENCES' CREED to Win the TNA World Tag-Team Titles: TNA finally admit that Pacman can't wrestle (in both senses of the definition) & is replaced by a newcomer in this bout. Styles & Creed begin with some good technical wrestling before the 2 larger men of each team are tagged in. Of course, that doesn't mean the pace slows down as Killings is like lightning in the ring. Tomko doesn't regain control until Creed is tagged in & he hits a big boot. The match breaks down soon after with Pacman eventually making his presence felt in angering Tomko by lowering the ropes. This leads to 2 huge spots by Killings & then Styles from the inside to the outside!

The ensuing mayhem sees a decent comedy spot where referee Earl Hebner doesn't count a Killings roll-up as Pacman threw money into the ring. Tomko & Styles then take advantage by performing a couple of double-team moves resulting in the title victory at the 9 minute mark. Decent tag title bout that was a bit of a catch 22 in more than one way. Newcomer Creed was ok, but sort of seemed out of place. Meanwhile, clever booking was used to book around the weaknesses of Creed & the larger Tomko, but it didn't allow us to see more than 30 seconds of Styles & Killings going at it. Definitely passable & solid enough for mine. Match Rating: 6.5

'BLACK MACHISMO' JAY LETHAL defeated 'FALLEN ANGEL' CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to Retain the TNA X-Division Title: Lethal gets the best of the opening minutes with his greater pace & it's all capped off nicely with a dart of a suicide dive to the outside. Black Machismo doesn't let up as he hits a slingshot over the top-rope cross-body to the outside, but it is at ringside where Daniels gets back into the bout by slamming Lethal into the guardrail. Back in the ring, the fallen angel methodically picks apart the champ, predominantly working on the back of his opponent. Lethal eventually works his way into the bout though & gains a number of 2 counts with some swift & innovative offense. An awesome Death Valley Driver variation into a moonsault then gets Daniels a super close near-fall, while a huge full-nelson suplex by Lethal slows the challengers momentum.

The champ then blocks a hurracanrana attempt, but misses his top-rope elbow-drop finisher. Soon after though, Lethal hits a top-rope version of his 'lethal combination' (back-breaker into a face-plant) for the pinfall victory at the 11 minute mark. Super entertaining & exciting match which was superbly performed by both talented men. I would have loved a little more structure to the bout & obviously an extra 4 (or 14 for that matter) minutes would have helped immensely. But this was still darn good & proves that there is still much more life in TNA's trademark X-Division. Match Rating: 8.5

THE STEINER BROTHERS defeated TEAM 3D in a 2 out of 3 Tables Match: Prior to the bout, The Steiners had a comical backstage interview where Scott waffled on & on and all I could understand was him saying "fat a$$es" a few times. The look on the female interviewer during this was absolute gold! Scott then attacks his opponents before they even get a chance to enter the ring. The faces dominate the first few minutes which is predominantly battled around ringside & into the crowd. It's that old-school ECW-like stuff that loyal readers will know I dislike. We finally get back into the ring & practically out of nowhere, Ray & D-Von hit a 3D on Rick through a table at the 6 minute mark. But having the '2 out of 3' stipulation means the bout continues & Scott predictably levels it up with a messy looking frankensteiner on Ray soon after.

Some dead time follows as Ray fights back with some belt whips before embarrassingly setting up a dud table & having to kill some more time for take 2! Sabin & Shelley then come out to distract Team 3D as D-Von then miscues with a chair-shot, allowing Rick to hit a top-rope bulldog for the win at the 13 minute mark. Not as good as the 2 teams 'Victory Road' match with a lot of dead time & a fair bit of messiness. More an entertainment type of bout for the live crowd, this gave the feeling that it was overlong for mine, but was still passable predominantly due to the effort put in. Match Rating: 5.5

GAIL KIM Won a 10 Woman Gauntlet Battle Royal to Win the TNA Women's Title: Miss Brooks & Jackie begin with the latter hitting a huge German suplex during the first minute. The rules see a new lady enter the bout every minute & Shelley Martinez (the former Ariel) & Awesome Kong make quite an impression next up! Kong eliminates all 3 women as ODB, Angel Williams & Christy Hemme are out next. Kong hits a few solid power moves including a double suplex, a face-buster variation, a powerbomb & a torture rack. Gail Kim then enters & the 3 women (Christy got injured) eliminate Kong (as well as de-robe her to our displeasure)! Talia is the next woman into the ring, but she, Angel & ODB are all eliminated leaving Gail & Roxie Leveaux to duke it out in a normal match scenario.

Gail locks on the octopus submission hold, before missing a top-rope dropkick to allow Roxie a chance to get a couple of 2 counts. The finish comes soon after when Gail becomes the first ever TNA Women's Champ after hitting the move that Finlay calls the Celtic Cross at the 12 minute mark. Fairly solid, if not totally fluent, multi-person bout that held its entertainment value well enough over the duration. The main reason for this was the odd assortment of characters that included Kong, Martinez & ODB. Would have been better with 2-4 less people though & 90 seconds in between entries as it all seemed a bit rushed & all over the shop. Wrestling-wise, it was a bit hit & miss, but sufficient with the mix of styles involved. The only problem was that Gail didn't have much time to impress & didn't really come out of the bout looking super strong. Match Rating: 6

SAMOA JOE defeated CHRISTIAN CAGE: Joe gets the best of the opening few minutes with his greater strength. But when in control, his ability to increase the pace is very good. The action heads to ringside when Christian misses a dive from the top-rope, as Joe capitalizes with a suicide dive & a running foot to the head. But a terrific slingshot-like counter into a DDT on the floor sways the momentum towards the heel as he then goes to work back in the ring. A missed frog splash allows Joe to kick Christian to the outside & then hit a spinning over the top-rope dive to the outside!

The 2 then trade near-falls with the face coming the closest to a victory with a scoop power slam. Tomko & Styles then come out, but are chased to the back by the ringside enforcer Matt Morgan. The distraction allows Christian to hit a low-blow & he follows up with an Unprettier which Joe amazingly kicks out of at 2.9! Joe then hits a spin kick & a muscle-buster soon after as the Kokina Clutch gets locked in for the submission victory at the 15 minute mark. Very good match that was solid in every way & then just that bit more. Joe was very impressive (especially with his ability to pace the bout) while Christian knew when to step it up. A half of a mark definitely comes off due to Joe winning so quickly after taking the Unprettier, but overall these 2 clicked well throughout. Match Rating: 8

ABYSS defeated RHYNO, BLACK REIGN & RAVEN in a Monsters Ball Match: The 2 heels (Raven & Black Reign) double-team Abyss in the opening minute, but Rhyno spoils the party with a steel shopping trolley! Following some standard hardcore brawling, the action heads up the entrance-ramp where Rhyno misses a huge gore & takes himself out. The 2 heels then put Abyss on a multi-table set-up where Raven drops an elbow from above in the crowd in what was somehow a rather uninspiring spot. The action heads back to the ring where the heels argue over which of them is to defeat Abyss. This allows Rhyno back into the fold as he gores Black Reign. But Raven then clears house with a golf club before emptying a bag of glass & tacks on the canvas. But his DDT attempt is countered into a Black Hole Slam by Abyss for the pinfall at the 9 minute mark. Not awful, but definitely nothing special either. These types of matches now seem dated to me unless something new or big occurs & that didn't happen here. Predictable in every way, but sufficiently entertaining & didn't outstay its welcome thankfully. Match Rating: 5.5

STING defeated KURT ANGLE to Win theTNA World HeavyWeight Championship: Both men are cautious to begin with as Kurt attempts to work the (pardon the pun) angles. Sting has all the answers for the champs offense & the commentators do a good job of telling the story that he wasn't as carefree as they were expecting him to be due to the silly storyline involving his son. The great thing here is that Sting was still able to lift those trademark energy levels when required & give the bout some electricity from his end. A huge release suplex by Kurt finally allows him to gain control as he goes to work with his usual combination of impact moves & submission holds. The 2 then trade 2 counts in a very good extended sequence that ends when Sting counters an ankle-lock into a scorpion deathlock. Karen Angle & Kevin Nash then come out to help Kurt as Nash clotheslines Sting allowing Angle time to Olympic slam the challenger. But it only results in a 2 count, as does a top-rope splash counter.

Kurt then heads to the top-rope himself & takes me totally by surprise as he attempts a 450 splash! Let's just say that it ended similarly to a certain top-rope move performed by Brock Lesnar in a WrestleMania bout that Kurt was also involved in! It still gets a 2 count though & from here the champ goes for the patented ankle-lock, which Sting escapes from & hits his deathdrop for a near-fall. Nash then attacks Sting after a double ref bump, but the Stinger uses a baseball bat to regain control, hit the deathdrop again & get the title victory at the 18 minute mark. Fantastic main-event where Sting really stepped it up & showed there is still some petrol left in the tank. There were a number of standout sequences with excellent pace & impact complementing the very good structure of the bout. The main criticism I had was the overbooking involved with Nash & Karen playing too much of a role. But that was minor as this was a real surprise, the match of the night & a genuine match of the year contender. Match Rating: 9

    PPV RATING (63/90) = 70

Looking at the key, I have basically given the 2007 version of ‘Bound For Glory’ a 'B+' grade & said that it was ‘very good’. While it only just snuck into that rating range, I think it deserved to be rated so highly as there was nothing terrible on the night, it was a fun & entertaining show, while we had 3 or 4 genuinely very good bouts. Just looking at how much I wrote for this review should show how much my interest was raised by this event & kudos to TNA for putting on a truly enjoyable pay-per-view.

Some of the same old problems exist, but you almost got the feeling that the decision makers admitted as such by going out of their way to mask those as best as possible. The only exception to that were the horrible backstage segments involving Nash, The Angles & Sting throughout the night. TNA need to get it through their heads that they're not WWE! And if they required proof of that, they need only need look at their in-ring content & my ratings for this show. It was great to see Sting lift his game & great to see the X-Division stand out on it's own on this night. For mine, this ppv shows that there is very much still hope for TNA in the battle for the professional wrestling dollar!

    MAIN - Raw Review

You know the drill... This is not as serious & detailed as my PPV Reviews, blah, blah, blah...

    - Raw opens up with Mr.Kennedy in the ring comparing his alternate choices at Cyber Sunday to American politicians. While campaigning for people's votes, KK is cut off by Jeff Hardy standing in amongst the crowd. He gives a few "yo dudes" but generally does a good job in firing up the crowd before hitting the ring & brawling with Kennedy. Orton then enters the fray, but is chased away by HBK, leaving Jeff standing strong in the squared circle. Not super special, but a rather effective opening segment, if only because it gave us something different in Jeff on the mic & standing strong amongst main-eventers.

    - London & Kendrick are as entertaining as always as they team up with Mickie James to take on Cade, Murdoch & Melina in our first match of the night. It was all solid stuff as the end saw the action break down as per usual in these 6 person bouts. The finish comes when Cade hits a huge lariat on Murdoch & the faces take advantage of that to score the pinfall. In amongst it all, Mickie has a strange victim-like look on her face due to Murdoch shoving her & it will be interesting to see where that leads.

    - 3 backstage segments follow & it was great to see the likes of Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin & Cody Rhodes get some quality mic time. The only way they are going to improve is with air-time & all were actually quite good here. In fact, the least interesting of the segments was the one involving Regal & Coach!

    - A super short bout between Rhodes & Benjamin follows after a commercial break & it is the face who comes out on top of this filler bout. Cody then gets double-teamed (as Haas was out there along with Benjamin) in the aftermath with Hardcore Holly predictably coming out to make the save & set the foundations for their rumored tag-team. Have I ever mentioned that I hate Hardcore Holly as a face!?

    - We next see the television debut of Harry Smith, who is the son of the late great 'British Bulldog' Davey Boy Smith. He is wrestling under the name of D.H Smith, which doesn't sound good to me due to the term that some people use that 2 letter abbreviation for. He ends up winning his debut against Carlito & it wasn't too bad of a match at all, even if it wasn't very fluent. Harry is a lot taller than his father & seemed to have the basics covered, meaning that his potential is limitless!

    - Following a commercial break, we see a recap of Coach's misadventures with Hornswaggle from last week. To be honest, I have found the segments involving Hornswaggle over the last few weeks a little disappointing as the potential comedy is indeed there. Anyway, we are teased a bout between the little green fella & Umaga! But instead, Triple H comes out & the 2 Cyber Sunday opponents brawl here, there & everywhere. It was the usual pre-ppv pull-apart with Triple H getting the better of the action in amongst approximately 428 referees & agents.

    - For the first time live on televised WWE programming this year, we get to see a diva search segment as the 3 remaining contestants come out to join Todd Grisham on the entrance-ramp. The Asian Lena (who unfortunately just happened to be the most popular with the live crowd on the night) was eliminated leaving Brooke & Eve, who were both rather unimpressive with their 30 seconds mic time. I have had Eve pegged as the winner from the beginning of the contest & she became odds-on for mine when big-breasted blond Taryn was voted out a few weeks back.

    - We get our weekly fix of Santino Marella next as he is accompanied to the ring by Maria. He hilariously shills for the special edition of the WWE magazine while rubbishing Stone Cold once more. He then gets interrupted by the 'Save Us' vignette which is a nice way of integrating it into the actual show. A short nothing match then follows as Santino loses to Ron Simmons by DQ following a low-blow. Santino is consistently average in the ring, but is consistently very effective on the mic & his act is not getting stale at all for mine.

    - Our penultimate bout of the evening is a 'Best of 3 Falls' Women's Title match between Beth Phoenix & Candice Michelle. The face gets the crowd involved with an early hurracanrana on the champ, but the first fall comes prematurely at only the 2 minute mark when Beth hits a 2 handed choke-bomb for a 3 count. We are then interrupted by a commercial break that, if the post-ad replay is anything to go by, contains just as much action as we actually get to see!

This is because following a good Candice offensive flurry that gets many 2 counts, the face challenger heads to the top-rope where she is crotched by her opponent & hits the mat with a damn hard thump. This literally knocks Candice out unconscious by the look of it (not to mention injuring her collar-bone as we were to find out later). The referee is then clearly audible in telling Beth to "cover her" & "end it here"! Ouch... This does remind us that the entertainment we watch so often is indeed dangerous.

    - It's main-event time and on paper this is a ripper as HBK & Jeff Hardy team up to take on Orton & Kennedy. The faces control KK in the early going until Jeff misses a Stinger Splash & hits the corner hard. The heels then isolate Jeff, but only for a minute as he gets an early hot tag to HBK. But then the heels are effective in combating Michaels' momentum & it isn't long until HBK is the one being isolated for minutes on end. The hot tag eventually comes Jeff's way & he has the crowd in raptures as he puts together his usual energetic offensive flurry that ends with a swanton on Kennedy for the pinfall at about the 10 minute mark.

The aftermath sees Orton try to RKO Jeff, but he turns right around into Sweet Chin Music! This was a very good main-event which overcame its rather predictable booking by infusing sufficient energy & above-average performances by all 4 men. Plus, what more could we expect from such a pre-ppv bout considering the circumstances? If anything, I would have preferred if Jeff didn't fully allow HBK to have all the glory as the show came to an end. A nice little stare-down would have been some nice icing on the cake!

    - Overall, this was a very good episode of Raw for mine. And I mean that in isolation & not just in a ppv-selling way. The opening half hour was solid & the closing half hour was likewise. The middle section did indeed drag a little, especially when it was in recap mode, but it was all leading up to what was most likely going to be a very good main-event & by the time that match came around, it predictably did not disappoint. I'm not one to want the world out of television shows (as compared to pay-per-views) & if you think similarly, I don't think you would have been disappointed with this episode of Raw. The most pleasing thing out of this show was most probably the way Jeff Hardy came to the forefront & impressed amongst the big boys.

    'Cyber Sunday' Predictions

As per usual with this event, forgive me if I'm a little all over the place with my predictions. It's always a little difficult when you don't exactly know what the match-ups will be. For example, Matt Hardy vs MVP would be my choice of opener in usual circumstances, but 2 out of the 3 match type choices available to fans don't exactly lend themselves to a ppv opener.

REY MYSTERIO vs FINLAY in a Stretcher Match: I will say that the stretcher match choice will win over the No DQ or Shillelagh on a Pole match, but I'm unsure how clearly that win will be. These 2 had a great little preview of sorts at No Mercy & with whatever stipulation is added here should have all the tools to step it up even further. One danger is that the booking may get too silly or over the top, but I doubt either of the 2 involved will stand for that. I'd be happy with a similar bout to the last ppv just with a few more brutal spots & a few more minutes involved. As for the result, it would not surprise me at all if Finlay emerged victorious & I actually think that there is a 40-60 chance that may occur. But I'll play it safe & suggest that the little fella somehow gets the job done. Winner: Rey Mysterio

CM PUNK vs BIG DADDY V for the ECW Championship: Once more, I am not convinced as to the result of the vote counting here & the goings on during the weekly ECW show this past Tuesday only clouds matters further. Fans of pure wrestling may see Morrison get more votes than I expect, but I just doubt he has built up enough steam since his return. And it is even possible that fans of Punk may feel that The Miz will be his easiest opponent, so they will vote for him. But I'll go with the storylines prior to yesterday & say that Big Daddy V gets the nod & that may not be a good thing at all if their abysmal non-match from No Mercy is anything to go by. Well, the one positive is that they can't get much worse! Either way, Punk retains. Winner: CM Punk

TRIPLE H vs UMAGA in a Steel Cage Match: Cage matches tend to always be favorites amongst fans & I think it will win the vote here, even if it's not by the landslide that some may expect. I just figure that both of the other match types are going to be included in a cage match to some extent anyway! It is very arguable that Umaga's rather quick loss to an already weary Triple H at No Mercy made him look more than a little weak, but I suppose WWE have done a decent job of building him back up to some extent. So much so, that it wouldn't be the biggest upset the world has ever seen if he was assisted to victory here. But my guess is that he won't, these 2 will have a good hard slog of a bout & the face victories will continue on the night. Winner: Triple H

MVP vs MATT HARDY in a Mixed Martial Arts Match: To be honest, I have absolutely no clue which match type will be voted in here. It's one instance where a standard wrestling match could actually win a vote! But I'm guessing that even those that may feel that a MMA match would end up boring may vote for it just for something different. It will be interesting to see what percentage of the vote it gets either way as WWE decision makers may make use of the findings in a number of ways in the future. I presume that this match will not be for the United States Title & will therefore be building up to such a bout at Survivor Series. If that is the case, it only makes sense that Matt keeps his momentum going with yet another face win. Winner: Matt Hardy

RANDY ORTON vs SHAWN MICHAELS for the WWE Championship: I don't see Mr.Kennedy getting all that many votes, while if Jeff can get above 30%, I think that would be enough to tell WWE decision makers something! I'll speak more on the underlying reason why this feud between Orton & HBK even exists next week, but to give a hint as to my postponed topic today, it's all about killing some time. And what better way to kill some time than by watching the always entertaining Shawn Michaels? Put simply, this will be a very good match. If everyone (bookers included) puts some real time behind this, then it could even be better than that! Either way, common sense & the incidents of the last few weeks on Raw all equal up to Randy retaining his title. Winner: Randy Orton

BATISTA vs THE UNDERTAKER for the World HeavyWeight Title with Special Guest Referee 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin: You heard it right folks, naive Davey is going out on a limb here & saying that the SmackDown title match of the card will be made the main-event of the ppv. I call it the Stone Cold theory! And make no mistake, Stone Cold will have the stripes on. I'd be surprised if Foley & JBL got more than 25% of the vote combined! But on the match-up itself, I despise it! Yep, I don't just hate it, I despise it. It's yet another WWE face vs face contest this year & furthermore, it's had practically no build up. In fact, it occurred because 'Taker simply came out at the end of a #1 Contenders Match that didn't even involve him! I would have much preferred a Fatal Fourway here, even if 'Taker was involved. Without the very good build-up that was given to this match-up as it was back before WrestleMania 23, I doubt these 2 can match their efforts here, but who knows. Could the match-up have been rushed for title change purposes? It wouldn't surprise me as I still think an eventual Taker vs Edge bout at WM24 is the way to go. But gut feeling tells me even if The Undertaker does get another title reign soon, it may not be this swift. Winner: Batista

Only those 6 matches have been advertised for the 'Cyber Sunday' pay-per-view thus far. I'm not including whatever the hell the divas are apparently going to do, as that's likely to be some sort of beauty contest anyway. There has to be at least 1 more bout added to the card. My guess is that it will be some kind of a tag-team contest. I'm unsure as to why WWE didn't advertise & set up a Cade & Murdoch title defense against the fans choice of (a) London/Kendrick, (b) The Highlanders or (c) Holly & Rhodes. Or they may just decide to have the WWE Championship bout early on in the card & then throw Jeff Hardy & Mr.Kennedy together. Who knows, as with the likes of Kane, Khali & Boogeyman not advertised, anything is possible. Let's just hope that come the end of the event, we are all quite pleased & surprised with the quality of the show.

Ok, that's another one in the books & lookey there, it's a bit of a milestone column for me next week. As I pointed out a few weeks back, nothing special is planned & I hope that doesn't disappoint too many. Please don't hesitate to let me know what you thought of my 'Bound For Glory' review, Raw review or 'Cyber Sunday' predictions. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER that I am absolutely flat chat at work & will not be able to reply to your correspondence as quickly as I usually can. I will be here with column #250 next Wednesday, but apart from my Cyber Sunday review, I have no idea what I will be carrying on about. Maybe I will rubbish Triple H again. I'm really just taking it one week at a time right now, but as always, my column will be posted at the same Wednesday time on the same LOP channel. Until then, this is DaveyBoy signing off & asking you to remember that dinner is best served in 3 courses.
