WWE News: Backstage visitors at Summerslam, McMahon profiled on VH-1, and more

• WWE’s Summerslam pre-show meet and greet was originally planned to feature several divas. Instead Jimmy Hart, Cryme Tyme and Matt Striker were at the concession stands. During the PPV, Ron Simmons made his way back there to take photos and greet fans.
  
  
• Several names were backstage at last night’s Summerslam event, which include Jimmy Snuka, Robert Gibson (WWE developmental trainer), former ROH champion Xavier, famed referee Dick Kroll and former WCW wrestler Teddy Reade (aka Swole from Master P’s No Limit Soldiers stable).
  
  
• The official attendance for Summerslam was 17,414.
  
  
• Of all the announcers, Jerry Lawler received the largest crowd reaction.
  
  
• Vince McMahon will be profiled on VH-1’s “Fabulous Live: Billionaire Rags to Riches” special. The show will air this Thursday at 9 PM.
