WWE News: New Year's Revolution PPV dropped, Summerslam DVD news, and more

• As we previously reported, WWE may be cutting back on PPV’s next. According to the latest WWE PPV schedule for 2008, there will be no New Year’s Revolution PPV next year. Below is the updated list, with confirmed venues:
  
  Royal Rumble - 1/27/08 (Madison Square Garden)
  No Way Out - 2./17/08
  Wrestlemania 24 3/30/08 (Citrus Bowl)
  Backlash - 4/27/08
  Judgment Day 5/18/08
  One Night Stand (yep, another one) 6/1/08
  Vengeance 6/29/08
  Great American Bash 7/20/08
  
  
• There are plans to release a special Summerslam DVD, which will feature a tin case and will be available via FYE stores.
  
  
• The outfit Rey Mysterio wore last night was inspired by Marvel Comics character, The Silver Surfer.
