Latest on Nick Hogan's accident, Passenger in critical condition, and more

• According to several witnesses, Nick Bollea (Hogan) was driving his yellow sports Toyota Supra at a high speed when his car careened out of control hitting a palm tree, which was in the raised median of a four-lane road. The rear end of the car slammed in to a palm tree on the raised median and “destroyed” the car upon impact.
  
  The accident occurred on Court Street, which is a main drag in downtown Clearwater. Court Street is expected to be shut down until tomorrow morning while authorities continue their investigation.
  
  Paramedics and firefighters had to cut both, Nick and his passenger, from the vehicle. The two were flown via helicopter to a local hospital in St. Petersburg.
  
  BayNews9.com is reporting that the passenger of the vehicle is in critical condition.
