    Winner: Big Daddy V
Rating: * 1/4 (I'm so glad we finally got an extreme rules match. It was fun enough for it's short duration. I was kinda hoping it was Boogeyman instead of Dreamer since it made more sense storyline wise but it also put over Big Daddy V before he's shipped off to Smackdown to feud with The Undertaker.)

    Winner: Balls Mahoney
Rating: ** 1/4 (Suprisingly good match. These two were given time and worked well together. I never really thought of Balls Mahoney as a good wrestler but that's only because we rarely get to see him wrestle, he's usually jobbing or never on TV. But this was a suprise! Good job to both men.)

Coach says this man does have the letter "M" in his name. CM Punk comes in and Vince says there is no way Punk is his son. Vince says Punk doesn't drink or smoke so he cannot be his son. Winners: John Morrison and The Miz
Rating: *** (Very good main event. Got the time it needed and made me want more from Punk/Morrison which we'll all get at SummerSlam. Smart to not have Boogeyman in the match very much and Miz held his own tonight. He was actually very good, the crowd didn't need to chant you can't wrestle toward him. He still needs time to grow more as a wrestler, so I think we should give him that time. Punk was excellent as was Morrison tonight.)

John Morrison celebrates with his ECW Championship to close the show.

    Results:
    1) Big Daddy V defeated Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules Match
    2) Balls Mahoney defeated Elijah Burke
    3) ECW Champion John Morrison and The Miz defeated CM Punk and The Boogeyman

OVERALL: Tonight was a very good show in my opinion! Finally an ECW that had me anticipating not only for the upcoming PPV but also the next ECW! The Vince/Coach segments backstage about Vince's kid were all entertaining enough and every match ranged from decent to very good. Every match delievered in it's own right and once again I really enjoyed this edition of ECW! Overall Rating: 8/10.

    WWE SUMMERSLAM PREDICTIONS:

    WWE Championship:
(Champion) John Cena vs. Randy Orton
I originally said Randy Orton would be the "one" to defeat Cena and relinquish him of the WWE title, but considering how strong Orton has looked going into SummerSlam I think Cena will get the win and there feud will continue. I think Orton will win the title at Unforgiven next month. This should be an excellent wrestling match though. Winner: John Cena

    World Heavyweight Championship:
(Champion) The Great Khali with Runjin Singh (Translator) vs. Batista
I honestly don't care anymore! Batista keeps getting these title opportunities every PPV and it's getting tiresome! Smackdown is in need of new contenders, considering Undertaker and Edge are out with injuries why not push Kane or Matt Hardy into the main event scene. Hardy gets as big of a reaction as Batista does. I say just give the title to Batista because I'm really sick of seeing him getting rematches after rematches because of Theodore Long. This should be ok, I don't really see Batista carrying Khali but who knows. So I say Bastista will walk out the winner, if not with the title then by disqualification. Then they'll have another rematch at Unforgiven. Oh no not again! Actually I think I have to many faces winning so I'm going to go with Khali for now and hope a rematch is NOT in order. Winner: The Great Khali

    ECW Championship:
(Champion) John Morrison vs. CM Punk
If these two are given the right amount of time I see this match stealing the show. Every one on one match between these two have delivered almost every time especially there fifteen minutes of fame match on ECW a few weeks ago. CM Punk has been on the losing end at PPV's to John Morrison so I think Punk will walk out of SummerSlam with the ECW title around his waist. Winner: CM Punk

Triple H vs. King Booker with Queen Sharmell
This is the easiest prediction of the night, well besides Rey Mysterio's match. There's no way Triple H is going to lose his return match. Maybe he can kill off the King gimmick on Booker because the King Booker thing has been getting old since late last year. Maybe an interference by Jerry Lawler or Jim Ross getting revenge but I think Triple H can control Booker on his own. Winner: Triple H

    Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
Another easy call, it's Rey's return and I am positive he will walk out of SummerSlam the victor. This match could also steal the show with the high flying, cruiserweight style of both men. Rey will win, and will get his revenge on the man who injured him, Chavo. Winner: Rey Mysterio

Diva Battle Royal Where The Winner Will Face Women's Champion Candice Michelle On A Later Date:
(Raw) Mickie James vs. (Raw) Melina vs. (Raw) Jillian Hall vs. (Raw) Maria vs. (Raw) Beth Phoenix vs. (ECW) Kelly Kelly vs. (ECW) Brooke vs. (ECW) Layla vs. (Smackdown) Kristal vs. (Smackdown) Maryse vs. (Smackdown) Michelle McCool vs. (Smackdown) Torrie Wilson vs. (Smackdown) Victoria vs. (Smackdown) Cherry
I did my research and found out that five of these beautiful Divas haven't competed on a PPV (I'm counting matches not lingerie or bikini contests) before (Beth Phoenix, Brooke, Layla, Maryse, and Cherry.) While five haven't wrestled on a PPV in over a year (Maria - New Years Revolution 2006, Torrie Wilson - WrestleMania 22 2006, Kristal, Jillian Hall, and Michelle McCool - All three at The Great American Bash 2006.) And Kelly Kelly has only wrestled once (December To Dismember 2006), while Victoria and Mickie haven't wrestled since (New Years Revolution 2007- Vic and Backlash 2007- Mic.) Melina is the only one who is really ready since she just wrestled and lost to Women's Champ Candice Michelle last month at The Great American Bash. I can rule out that Brooke (inexperienced on a PPV and haven't seen wrestle much), Layla (same), Maryse (same), Cherry (same), Kelly Kelly (same), Kristal (same and has a wedding to deal with), Torrie Wilson (Just moved to Smackdown, can't see her moving back to Raw this quickly), Victoria (same as Torrie), and Melina (just had the title and rematch) will not win. So that leaves either newcomer Beth Phoenix who looked dominate on Raw last night after the tag match, Maria who could win to have some little segment with Santino Marella and Ron Simmons afterword, Michelle McCool who seems to be getting a push with wins over Jillian Hall and Victoria, and Mickie James who showed a future heel turn could still happen since she attacked Candice and threw her from the ring last night. Any one could really win but I'm going with either Winner: Mickie James or Michelle McCool or Beth Phoenix or Maria

Triple Threat Match For The Intercontinental Championship:
(Champio) Umaga vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Carlito
I figured a Carlito vs. Umaga match would be made for this PPV but adding Kennedy makes sense, he didn't have anything else to do at the PPV other than the McMahon son storyline (I think Kennedy is Vince's son, which would be funny since Vince's middle name is Kennedy!) I think Kennedy will be focused with Vince's storyline and Umaga will lose the title to Carlito, who will then feud with Cody Rhodes. I think Cody will win the title in the future but tonight is Carlito's night to shine. It should be a very good match, I love triple threat matches, there always exciting and unpredictable. Winner: Carlito

If there's another match I am sure they will add United States Championship:
    (Champion) MVP vs. Matt Hardy
These two have been feuding for a while so it seems perfect sense to add this here. If so I think MVP will retain once again only because I have too many predictions with faces winning but hey it is SummerSlam the biggest party of the Summer maybe WWE wants to end Summer on a happy note! Winner: MVP (I wouldn't be suprised if Matt walked away with the title though.)

Have a good week everyone and enjoy SummerSlam if you're ordering it! Jason
