WWE House Show Results from Perth, Australia 7-29-07

The show opened with Tony Chimel making his way down to the ring to say that they are looking forward to hosting their show tonight and told everyone not to throw anything at the wrestlers and to not interfere in the matches or you will be sent out of the arena.
Singles Match
Chris Masters Vs Ric Flair
This match was pretty much even and throughout the match, Ric Flair basically hit lots of chops as the crowd yelled out woo. Chris Masters then took down Ric Flair and signalled that he was going for the Masterlock but flair was able to counter and then began to work on the leg of Masters until he then saw the time to lock in the Figure Four Leg Lock which gave Chris Masters no choice but to tap out.
Winner: Ric Flair
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce "N" Domino Vs The Major Brothers
This was the first title defence of the night and I thought there were not going to be any. The match began with The Major Brothers dominating the contest as they made lots of frequent tags and were able to hit lots of high impact moves until Deuce "N" Domino were able to sneak there way back into the match. One of the Major Brothers then jumped over the top rope and took Domino out of the match up. He then jumped back into the ring and hit the cross body pin and the referee counted 1,2, but Domino was able to jump back into the ring and break up the count. Domino was then tossed over the top rope. One of the Major Bros was still out on the apron while the other one in the ring turned around and Deuce kicked him right in the head with a vicious kick. Deuce them made the pin to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Divas Singles Match
Michelle McCool Vs Victoria
This was the first and the last divas match of the night. At the start of the match, Michelle McCool dominated Victoria until she fell down and looked to be holding her knee which she has problems with. When the referees were carrying her out when Victoria hit a dropkick which sent Michelle over the top rope. Then she threw her back into the ring and pinned her to get the victory that she didn't deserve.
Winner: Victoria
Singles Match
Elijah Burke Vs Stevie Richards
The crowd were easily on Stevie Richards side as Elijah Burke stayed out of the match and to the outside of the ring were he told Tony Chimel something and he said it on the microphone. " Elijah Burke has said that if you don't stop yelling at him, he will leave the arena". And sure enough, everyone began to boo at him but he then ran down to the ring at a count of 7. Both men were dominating each other throughout the match with Stevie Richards nearly getting the 3 with a magnificent counter into a sunset flip pin. Elijah Burke then tossed Stevie into the turnbuckle and then he rolled him up and put his feet on the rope to get an undeserving pinfall victory.
Winner: Elijah Burke
Singles Match
Kane Vs Finlay
At the start of the match, Finlay and Kane stood toe to toe with each other as Kane was huge compare to him. Kane was nailing heaps of uppercuts early until they then battled to the outside of the ring where he smacked Finlay's head of the steel steps. Then Finlay was able to get back into the match was he targeted Kane's leg as he smacked it off the steel pole. He then went into the corner and began to take the protective padding off the turnbuckle without the referee seeing. Finlay then went to sling Kane into it but Kane countered it and Finlay went back first into the steel hook. He then walked into a side walk slam, followed by a top rope clothesline. He then went for the choke slam but Hornswaggle then came into the ring. Finlay was then able to hit Kane in the back of the leg with the Shalleighlie and make the pin but Kane kicked out. Finlay was then smacking his hands on the ring in frustration. He was then tossed over the top rope as Hornswaggle came back into the ring. Kane then fell down to his knees to match up the size. Hornswaggle then went for a choke slam but instead got one of his own. Finlay then came back into the ring and sure enough he hit the choke slam and pinned Finlay. After Kane had left the arena, Finlay was walking to the backstage area where he realised the forgot Hornswaggles hat so he went back down to the ring and got it. He then got to the end of the ramp and clapped his feet together until Hornswaggle came out and kicked Finlay in the nuts and took his hat.
Winner: Kane
They then had a quick 10 minute break before they started the next part of the show. They were playing heaps of music in that time.
ECW World Championship Match
ECW World Champion John Morrison Vs Tommy Dreamer
It started with John Morrison entering with Johnny Nitro's music and Tony Chimel announced his name as Johnny Nitro. Morrison then grabbed a microphone and said " I don't know where you people have bean the last month, but you should know that my name is not Johnny Nitro, my real name is John Morrison". The match began with Dreamer being in control until Morrison surprised him with multiple kicks including an enziguri. Dreamer then got back into control as he slung John Morrison into the corner but Morrison jumped over him and to the ring apron where Dreamer punched him off of it. They then were battling until Dreamer hit the DDT. He made the cover and it looked to be a new ECW World Champion but Morrison got his foot on the bottom rope. They then got back to their feet where John Morrison hit the corkscrew neckbracker to retain his ECW World Championship. After the match, Tommy Dreamer grabbed a sign that said ECW and he yelled out the same thing.

Singles Match
Rey Mysterio Vs Chavo Guerrero
It was Rey Mysterio making his return to face his long time rival and the man that put him out of action for so long in Chavo Guerrero. The match began with the crowd chanting for Rey Mysterio "619" but the crowd also chanted for Chavo. They said "Chavo Sucks!" Chavo then sat up in the corner until both men tied up in the centre of the ring. Rey Mysterio then hit multiple head scissors but Chavo was able to respond as he targeted Rey Mysterio's leg as he repeatedly kicked it. Rey Mysterio then hit the head scissors and went for the 619 but when he bounced off the ropes, he fell down because of his knee. Chavo Guerrero then continually targeted Rey Mysterio's knee until he hit the Gory Bomb but it was a kick out. Rey Mysterio then got back into the match up as he hit a huge bulldog, followed by a leg scissors to get Chavo Guerrero in the position for the 619. Rey then bounced off the ropes and hit the 619. He then hit a springboard splash to pin Chavo Guerrero as the crowd went nuts. Rey Mysterio's song then played twice as Rey Mysterio celebrated his victory over Chavo Guerrero.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali Vs Batista
This was said to be the last match of the night as Batista came down the ramp first. When The Great Khali came down to the ring, he was huge in size. The bell rang as both men tied up with Batista winning the show of strength but The Great Khali then just kept pushing Batista off of him. Khali then began to keep Batista on the floor as he was in control until out of nowhere, Batista hit a ring shaking spine buster that must have nearly broken the ring. He then waited in the corner of the ring where he speared The Great Khali which was amazing. He then went for the Batista Bomb but Finlay ran down to the ring to bash Batista which saw the match end in a Disqualification. But then sure enough, Kane ran down to the ring to help out Batista as Khali left the ring, so did Finlay. Batista then grabbed a microphone and said " That's not fair, Finlay, you just cost me my World Heavyweight Championship Match tonight and because of this, I am challenging you tonight. How about we have a tag team match. Me and the big man Kane Vs you and The Great Khali. Come on lets do it now". Sure enough, Khali and Finlay came back to the ring and were ready to start the tag team match. This meant that Batista won this match but not the title because of DQ.
Winner Via Disqualification: Batista ( The Great Khali Retains The World Heavyweight Title Because It Was A DQ Victory )
Normal Tag Team Match
World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali & Finlay Vs Batista & Kane
The match began with Finlay starting against Batista. Batista kept in control for the whole starting of the match were he made a tag to Kane but Finlay was able to battle out of it and make a tag to The Great Khali as he then began to dominate Kane like a toy. Kan was trying really hard to make the tag but every time he tried, he fell short. The Great Khali & Finlay continued to make frequent tags to keep each other fresh until when Finlay was in the ring, Kane was able to get out of it and make a tag to Batista who then ran into the ring, knocking down Finlay with forearms and multiple punches. The Great Khali then came into the ring but he was knocked over the top rope by Kane. Then Hornswaggle came into the ring. Kane & Batista then grabbed him and hit a double choke slam. Batista then hit a spine buster on Finlay, followed by a huge Batista Bomb to pin Finlay and pick up the victory 1,2,3. Batista & Kane had got the upper hand on their rivalry with The Great Khali. After the match, Batista was in the ring pointing to in front of him and to both sides to see which part of the crowd could cheer the loudest. He was doing this for about 10 minutes as his song kept getting restarted.
Winners: Batista & Kane
Overall, I think this was a great show for us people in Perth. I knew that none of the titles would change hands but it was so exciting watching such great superstars wrestle each other for our entertainment. All I can say is, well done to the WWE for putting on such a great show.
