Jim Ross Has Updated His Blog Over At JRsbarbq.com

Jim Ross On ECW Tag Titles: I am not a proponent of creating ECW Tag Titles because of the fact that I feel that there are too many titles in the biz already and the lack of depth on the ECW brand would not be conducive to a competitive tag team division.

Jim Ross On Rock ‘n Roll Express HOF Induction: I don’t know what the chances are that the Rock ‘n Roll Express will ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Even though they were a great duo and one of my personal favorites, I would say less than 50/50 if forced to make a prediction.

Jim Ross On Sting Coming To The WWE: It’s possible I suppose, but highly unlikely. Sting is obviously under contract with TNA as we speak, I would assume, and I don’t know if his future plans include staying in the biz for a long term or not. I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one. If Sting were in his early 30’s I might sing a different song.

Jim Ross On Sign Confiscation: I am not a member of the sign police so I cannot comment extensively on the confiscation of signs at WWE events. Obviously, some signs are meant to draw attention to the bearer of the sign and I have heard of some signs that have been seized that were in horrible taste. I have seen some signs that made the cut that I wouldn’t have allowed to be seen, but that’s me.

Jim Ross On Working With Bobby Heenan And Randy Savage: I never had any issues announcing with Bobby Heenan and Randy Savage that I can recall. It was working with new partners in a new company and was an exciting time back in 1993. One has to adjust with working with any new partners and this three man booth was no different, but it did seem to work out fine. Both guys were seasoned pros from the old school and we had a relatively smooth transition.
