PWInsider.com reports that Court Bauer gave notice and departed the WWE creative team last week.
According to reports, Bauer and lead SmackDown! writer Michael Hayes began to butt heads over the show once Dusty Rhodes moved to ECW. Bauer, out of frustration, eventually decided to leave the company.
Update: At 4:30PM on Sunday, PWInsider.com updated its report to note that some within WWE claim Bauer was actually released by the company on 7/14.
The former promoter of Major League Wrestling, Bauer has reportedly been talking to an MMA organization about a job.
