  • Vince Russo was the biggest influence in TNA in having Dustin Rhodes return. Some see this as Russo gaining more power. The working plan is to have Rhodes slowly evolve to his Goldust character as much as possible without legal complications from WWE.

  • TNA is hoping to have Scott Steiner wrestle on the September PPV. There was some thought that Steiner could wrestle on the August PPV but most believe it is doubtful.

  • TNA's Bound For Glory PPV on October 14th was originally going to take place in Chicago but TNA cancelled that city when they found out that WWE was running it's No Mercy PPV there the week before. Between Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, and Norfolk - Atlanta (Gwinnett Center) is considered the favorite for the new Bound For Glory location.

  • There is talks of having Matt Bloom join TNA but no start date has been finalized. Familiar ring names that Bloom has used over the years include Prince Albert, A-Train, and now currently using the name Giant Bernard.

  • Sonjay Dutt recently suffered a shoulder tear and doctors told him he would need an MRI. Terry Taylor told Dutt that TNA would not pay for the MRI. This has caused an extreme amount of heat among the younger wrestlers in the company.
