- Edge tore his left pectoral muscle last Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings during a segment with Kane. The injury will require surgery, thus resulting in Edge vacating the World Heavyweight title on SmackDown this week. Expected recovery time is at least four months, which would put him out until at least November.
Edge commented on Smackdown on the list of injuries he has received, he said "I’ve broken my neck, dislocated my shoulder twice, torn my other pec, my elbows are mush, I have two protruding discs in my lower back. I even got bit by a brown recluse spider that turned into a flesh-eating disease – the list goes on."

- This past Monday’s edition of RAW did a 3.4 cable rating. One website is reporting that this is the lowest summer rating in over nine years. We’ll have more details on the RAW rating later today.
