-- Rick Martel is another wrestling veteran scheduled to make a cameo to promote Vengeance's "Night of Champions" theme. Magnum T.A. and Harley Race had previously been confirmed for appearances on tonight's show.
-- Dusty Rhodes' son Cody Runnels is also backstage at tonight's show. Runnels is a standout in WWE's developmental system and is expected to make a big impact upon eventually debuting on the main roster.
-- According to WrestlingObserver.com, Sgt. Slaughter and Jimmy Snuka are confirmed as the mystery WWE Tag Championship challengers. Snuka appeared to be having trouble walking backstage, which is creating some concern about how he will perform in the ring.
