Johnny Knoxville working Summerslam, Ventura/McMahon meeting, More

• As previously reported, Vince McMahon had a meeting with Jesse Ventura on June 14th. Details of this meeting remain sketchy but it’s said that Jesse was dressed as if it were a serious business meeting. There have been rumors of him returning for a General Manager character. There’s also talk of WWE doing a DVD on Ventura.
  
  
• It appears that Johnny Knoxville has agreed to do the SummerSlam match, which involves several of the Jackass members and WWE superstars. As things stand right now, it will be one match consisting of hardcore rules.

• Last night’s edition of SmackDown scored a 2.6 rating in the Fast Nationals. This is the third consecutive week SmackDown has brought in a 2.6 fast rating. The first hour averaged a 2.3 rating while the second hour brought in a strong 2.9 rating.
