    Abyss is shown walking backstage.

    Video package of Slammiversary.

Cornette is in the ring and says that TNA is heading to Victory Road. He calls all TNA champions to the ring. The main event at Victory Road will be 'Match of Champions'. The World Heavyweight Champion and the X Division Champion will team up against the Heavyweight Champions. All championships will be on the line, so not only will the person who scores the pinfall get the win, but he'll win the title of the person he pinned.

Furthermore, in the case of the tag team champions, if one of them are pinned, the person will win both titles and pick who his partner will be to defend those titles. Starting tonight and in the next three weeks, all titles will be on the line. If they win, they'll be in the match at Victory Road. If they don't, the person who wins will be at Victory Road.

Kurt Angle says he has a question. With all due respect, Cornette needs to get his head out of his ass. He's getting no red carpet, no fireworks, he's the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He needs a pedestal. If he were Sting, Cornette would have a post-Oscar party. Champagne and balloons dropping from the ceiling. He tells Cornette to get out of the ring he has a few people to thank.

First of all he wants to thank himself for making tonight possible. Also he'd like to thank himself for making all of this possible. On top of that he'd like to thank himself for putting TNA on the map. He'd also like to thank himself for being the best wrestler in the company, if not the whole world. As far as the fan's support, they can keep it. One minute they love him, the next they hate him. He asks to be hated.

Whenever he needed their support, all he'd hear was, 'Joe's gonna kill you!' They're all morons, just like Joe for believing his own hype. He'd like to thank the Good Lord for giving everyone a role model to look up to in himself. It's real, it's damn real. Cornette says that he's sorry if Kurt thinks he didn't get the respect. He gets paid to compete, win or lose to show his talent. This isn't charity. It's about competition, it's time to shatter the glass ceiling and get new blood. Kurt's going to compete but if he's as good as he says he should have no problem.

Next week on iMPACT! Kurt's going to face two former champions in a three-way. The hardest thing about being a champion isn't winning it, it's keeping it. Tonight it's Black Machismo versus Chris Sabin and Samoa Joe!
Evaluation - Very good opening segment, I can't wait for Victory Road. Rating - * 1/2.

    Commercial.

JB is backstage talking about TNA Mobile and Victory Road. Black Machismo comes up and says that he's thinking about Sunday when he became the champion. Sonjay Dutt is meditating on the ground beside him. Tonight he's walking in and out of the iMPACT! Zone the TNA X Division Champion, tell 'em Guru! Sonjay keeps meditating.
    Evaluation - Eh, pointless. Rating - N/A.

Young into the turnbuckle, Roode grabs him. Storm runs in, boot by Young as he fights off both men. Young tries to get a tag on Rhino but James Storm pulls him off. Storm off the ropes, flying forearm misses Young and hits Roode. Young gets the tag to Rhino, multiple shots to both men sending them down. Mid ring power slam on Storm, two count. Young in working on Roode in the corner. Rhino throws Storm to the corner and sets up for a Gore!

    Commercial.

Video recap of Rhino destroying the iMPACT! Zone and Cornette trying to calm him down.

Video package that was aired at Slammiversary from Jeff Jarrett. If you'd like to read what it's about, please check my Slammiversary recap.

    Commercial.

Leticia is backstage with Joe. Joe runs her off and says he's done this interview many times, he's done the whole thing with Kurt many times before. He likes to tell people what he's going to do. Joe says he's going to get his X Division title back tonight and if Kurt wins next week, they'll be on a team at Victory Road. He wants to be beside Kurt, revel in his pain and taste his blood. When it's all said and down, there will be no more interviews.
    Evaluation - Joe's Gonna Kill You! Rating - *.

Match II : Raven v. Chris Harris
Raven catches Wildcat as he enters the ring with a few right hands then sends him on the outside. Couple of shots to the guard rail then back into the ring, Chris Harris mounts an offense before Raven hits a clothesline and gets a near fall. Raven sends Harris back first into the corner turnbuckle. Kaz comes down to the ring, sit down clothesline sends Raven down. Harris with the Catatonic, 1-2-3!

Post-match Cage is backstage with AJ and Tomko on a "movie set". AJ and Tomko leave. Cage addresses Harris and tells him he's the man that makes superstars. If Chris wants to become a superstar it begins and ends with Christian Cage. Wrestlers want to be in the ring with him just so they can tell their grandchildren they wrestled him. At Slammiversary Chris got his attention. If he wants to be the next in line, they're going to put on a masterpiece but Chris won't like it. If you don't know, now you know. Screen goes black as someone comes after Cage.

Abyss throws Cage down the ramp in the iMPACT! Zone. Abyss grabs a barb wire baseball bat, Cage drops down and into a corner. Tomko and AJ down to the ring for the save and Christian bails. Abyss fights back on the double team, Tomko and Abyss go at each other's throats before Abyss hits a big boot and sends Tomko to the outside.
Evaluation - Post-match was better than the match. However, Raven's lost a lot of weight and is looking really good. He needs more air time. Rating - 1/2 *.

    Commercial.

Video package of James Mitchell. He's searched the dark, seedy underbelly of humanity to find his prize. Thousands of miles and countless, sleepless nights when he was about to end his quest, he appeared. A creature beyond redemption, devoid of compassion, bereft of conscious, a force unlike anything the world has ever seen. He is coming. His son.
Evaluation - Banderas needs to hurry up and appear. Too much build. Rating - 1/2 *.

Main Event : Samoa Joe v. Chris Sabin v. `` Black Machismo `` Jay Lethal (c)
Sabin jumps out of the ring and Joe works on Lethal. Flapjack sends Lethal down, Sabin into the corner, elbow into an enzuigiri. Oversell by Sabin and a drop-kick from Lethal. Double drop-kick to Joe before Sabin eye rakes Lethal. Elbow by Lethal, Sabin baseball slides underneath Lethal's legs and pulls him to the outside. Both men on the outside, Joe off the ropes, suicide dive sends Lethal and Sabin down.

    Commercial.

Lethal into the corner, boot to Joe. Snap powerslam puts Lethal down. Sabin up top, missile drop-kick puts Joe on the outside. Lethal into the corner, running kick by Sabin and he sets him up in the tree of woe. Hesitation Drop-kick! Two count. Joe in, knife edge chops to Sabin's chest. Joe picks him up for a powerbomb but Sabin rolls into a two count. Inverted atomic drop on Sabin, flying toe kick. Standing senton bomb.

Lethal in the corner, Joe works on him and sets him up for the Muscle Buster but Lethal fights him off with a headbut. Both men on the second rope but Lethal knocks Joe down. Lethal goes up for the elbow drop, Sabin pushes him off and Joe hits a Pele variation on Sabin, Muscle Buster! 1-2-3!

Winner and NEW X Division Champion : Samoa Joe

Post-match Cornette offers his congratulations to Samoa Joe for solidifying his spot at Victory Road. Next week we'll see Kurt Angle defending against Rhino and Christian Cage!
Evaluation - Nice match, I'm upset they took the belt from Lethal. Rating - * 1/2.

Final Analysis - Now, what I see happening with Samoa Joe winning the title, is one of them will get the pin on Team 3-D at Victory Road. These two have paired up numerous times and although they don't like one another they work well together and there's nobody else they can trust in the company. I see whoever scores the pin recruiting the other as their tag partner and all the gold of the company resting with Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. If it happens, I'd have to say, smart move TNA. 5/10. Goodnight folks.
