TNA House Show Results from Hyannis, Massachusetts 6-21-07

I attended the TNA House Show at the Cape Cod Melody Tent on June 21st. The arena wasn't even sold out. I mean there were A LOT of empty seats. I was three rows away from the ring. The ring had been built much smaller then it usually is due to the size of the Melody Tent.

Jeremy Borash is introduced and gets the crowd hyped up by announcing Kurt Angle VS Christian Cage as the main event and running down some of the talent who would appear. He then tells the crowd TV cameras are in the back. Borash served as ring announcer for the show.

Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks VS "Showtime" Eric Young:
Young pinned Roode after a Samoan Drop to both Brook and Roode

Seretonin VS Brother Runt & Lance Hoyt VS Rhino & Kazarian VS The Naturals VS LAX: winner to face Team 3-D for the TNA Tag Team Championships later that night: Lance Hoyt turned on Brother Runt, allowing LAX to pin him following Hernandez lifting Runt on his shoulders and Homicide hitting a top rope bulldog.

"Black Machismo" Jay Leathal VS "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels:
Leathal pinned Daniels with an elbow off the top rope, pretty much controlled the whole match.

"The Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm & "The Pride of Tennessee" Jackylin Moore VS "Wildcat" Chris Harris & Gail Kim:
Harris and Kim won when Kim rolled up Moore for the pin. Harris and Storm were legal however.

X Division Championship Title Match:
Samoa Joe VS "The Phenominal" AJ Styles:
Before the match, Borash announced Joe had won the title at the Impact! taping. Joe pinned Styles with the Muscle Buster

30 minute intermission

Tomko VS "The Monster" Abyss:
Abyss pinned Tomko with the Black Hole Slam

TNA Tag Team Championship Match:
Team 3-D VS LAX
Team 3-D was insanely over. The referee took a bump, which caused Lance Hoyt to run down to the ring and nail Brother Ray with a big boot. Brother Runt ran down and went after Hoyt, allowing Ray and D-Von to hit the 3-D to Homicide for the pin.

After the match, Team 3-D got on the mic and dedicated the win to their late friend. They picked a kid from the audience and let him pose with the tag belt.

Jeremy Borash brought three local girls into the ring. He tells the crowd to go crazy and cheer as loud as possible so they can tape it and show it on Impact! next week. The crowd cheered like crazy and Borash announced the main event was now a title match.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship:
Kurt Angle VS Christian Cage w/ Tomko:
Angle pinned Christian Cage with the Olympic Slam.

All in all, not a bad show. The small crowd was a loud one. Some funny stuff was done by the wrestlers. Eric Young pointed at himself and Roode, getting cheers for him and boos for Roode and mixed for Brooks before starting the match, which was funny. Storm prayed to God when Kim tagged in Harris near the end of the match. Christian and Tomko hugged, complete with Cage giving Tomko's butt a squeeze. You could tell the wrestlers where having a great time.
