I attended the RAW house show last night at the Civic Coliseum. The place was about 90% full, and the crowd was hot for the most of the night.
1) Cryme Time def. The World's Greatest Tag Team
Very good opening match with a nice pop for Cryme Time.
2) Val Venis def. Dan Rodman
Crowd was kinda dead. All I really remember was that Rodman went to a boring bearhug like 4 times during the match. Val had to carry him the whole time. The kid is physically impressive, but not ready for TV.
3) Melina def. Mickie James
Nice pop for Mickie. Typical divas match.
4) Chuck Palumbo def. Carlito
Another boring match. Chuck Palumbo was not over, although he tried to get the crowd behind him. Most people were for the heel Carlito. I guess the new "Biker" Chuck can't erase the memories of the "Billy & Chuck"
5) The Hardy Boys def. Cade and Murdoch by DQ
Match of the night by far. Hardys got a HUGE pop. Cade\Murdoch were really over as heels. Ref DQed the heels after they double-teamed Jeff past his 5-Count.
INTERMISSION
6) Santino Marella def. Snitsky
This match was pretty short. Santino got no response, but Snitsky had decent heat. Santino wins with the roll-up.
7) Bobby Lashley def. Umaga
Big pop for Lashley. Good big man match, with both guys showing some agility. Lashley wins after a spear.
8) John Cena vs. Randy Orton
I am ashamed to say that I left halfway through this match to beat the traffic. I assume Cena won, possibly by DQ. Anyway, Cena got the loudest pop of the night, with not that many boos. Orton's reaction was mixed as usual. Anyone who knows the actual outcome, let us know.
POPS
1) CENA
2) HARDY BOYS
3) LASHLEY
HEAT
1) CADE AND MURDOCH
2) UMAGA
