ECW 6/5/2007 Orlando, Florida:

Recap of Bobby Lashley winning the ECW title from Vince McMahon at One Night Stand.

ECW intro is shown.

Vince McMahon is shown by the entrance in a rocking chair. Vince has a blank stare on his face. Bobby Lashley's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Lashley stares at Vince and Vince just looks ahead, not even noticing Lashley.

Match 1: 3 On 1 Hardcore Handicap Match:
ECW Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, and The Sandman

Sandman has his cane with him and Dreamer and Mahoney grab road signs from under the ring. Sandman canes Lashley as Dreamer and Mahoney hit Lashley with their signs. Lashley escapes to the outside to recoop and comes back into the ring for more triple teaming. Vince just stares on, rocking in his chair. Dreamer nails Lashley in the head with a garbage can. Lashley counters and suplexes Dreamer into the ring. Lashley clotheslines Mahoney on the outside and Sandman canes Lashley. Dreamer and Sandman double suplex Lashley on the outside. Lashley counters Dreamer and tosses him back first into the steel steps. In the ring, Sandman with a leg drop from the top rope for a one count on Lashley. Dreamer and Sandman put Lashley in the tree of woe and Dreamer baseball slides a chair into Lashley's face! Dreamer says get the tables! Sandman brings in a table and places it in the corner. Lashley ducks and Mahoney hits Dreamer in the head with a steel chair! Mahoney goes up top but Lashley moves and Mahoney leg drops the chair! Lashley spears The Sandman through the table! Lashley spears Mahoney for the win.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Rating: * 1/2 (Ok match, but I loved the extreme spots! Like the spear to the table was pretty cool. I like this Vince McMahon character because Vince just sits there and we don't have to hear him talk!)

Lashley goes to where Vince is and Lashley poses with the belt right in front of Vince! Vince stops rocking and just stares ahead.

Match 2: Kevin Thorne vs. Stevie Richards

Thorne chokes Richards in the corner. Richards with forearms and tosses Thorne to the outside. Thorne catches Richards and drops him face first on the fan barricade. In the ring, Thorne chokes Richards some more. Thorne nails a clothesline. Thorne applies a headlock and then he hot shots Richards into the ropes. Richards counters and clotheslines Thorne down. Richards drop toe holds Thorne into the ropes and Richards nails a drop kick for a two count. Thorne nails a spinebuster. Richards hot shots Thorne into the ropes and goes up top but Thorne crotches Richards and nails a brutal original sin for the win.

Winner: Kevin Thorne

Rating: 1/2 * (Another squash from the new Snitsky. Thorne's better than Snitsky but he needs real competition to get better.)

Tonight The Major Brothers vs. Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von.

But up next were going to see what Randy Orton did to Rob Van Dam at One Night Stand.

Extreme Expose (Kelly Kelly, Brooke, and Layla) dance to Pitbulls "Ay Chico." Maybe for the last time? Since the draft is coming up this Monday. They finish by dancing on the ECW announce table and gave Joey Styles and Tazz a goodbye dance for them incase one of these Divas will be moving. (I think Kelly Kelly will be moving to Raw while Layla and Brooke may go to Smackdown or stay here on ECW. Since Kelly is the weak link of the dancing trio she might be the only one moved.)

We see a recap of Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam from One Night Stand. RVD will not be included in the draft and recieved his second concussion in one week. RVD will be out indefinately.

Match 3: Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von vs. The Major Brothers

Cor Von attacks Brett but Brett fights back. Brett tags to Brian and Brian works on Cor Von's arm. Tag back to Brett but Cor Von with an elbow. Cor Von tags Burke but Burke misses an elbow. Brett with an arm drag. The Majors double leap frog Burke and nails a double hip toss! Burke with a shoulder block takedown. Burke nails a flap jack for a two count on Brett. Tag to Cor Von. Cor Von with a front slam as a boring chant starts. Tag to Burke. Cor Von slams Brett and Burke runs and nails a high jump elbow drop for a two count. Burke with an arm lock but Brett fights out. Burke tags out to Cor Von. Cor Von with a snapmare and applies a bear hug. Brett fights out but runs into a knee from Cor Von for a two count. Tag to Burke. Burke with an abdominal stretch but Brett fights out. Brett makes the hot tag to Brian and Brian with punches to Burke. Brian nails a flying forearm. Brian with a spinebuster for a two count. Burke makes the blind tag to Cor Von as Brian rolls up Burke but Cor Von the legal man kicks Brian in the face. Cor Von nails the pounce for the win.

Winners: Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von

Rating: * 1/4 (A fine match that got Burke and Cor Von over. I'm not sure yet on the Majors and neither are the fans since they chanted boring on a few occasions. We'll see where they go that is if there still on this brand after the draft.)

Tonight is CM Punk vs. Matt Striker.

The chair that Vince was in earlier is now empty. They recap the Lashley vs. Dreamer/Sandman/Mahoney match from earlier and Vince rocking in his chair as Lashley poses in front of him.

Match 4: CM Punk vs. Matt Striker

Matt has a mic. He says after the lesson he teaches CM Punk tonight, he will look up to Striker, your teacher. A CM Punk chant breaks out. Striker with a go behind but Punk counters and nails a dropkick. Punk snapmares Striker and nails a kick to Striker's back. Punk says to Striker to go to school! Punk nails a forearm in the corner but Striker counters and gets an elbow up and clotheslines Punk down. Punk with kicks but Striker counters with a back suplex. Striker nails Punk with a northern lights suplex. Punk kicks away at Striker but Striker regains the advantage with a front slam. Punk with an inside cradle for a one count but Striker comes back with a running clothesline. Striker splashes Punk and applies a single leg boston crab. Punk fights out but Striker counters and places Punk on the top rope and nails a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Striker applies another boston crab but Punk reaches to the ropes. Punk with a front roll up for a two count. Punk with a heel kick and an elbow. Punk follows that with a clothesline and a kick to Striker's head. Punk with a high knee and running bulldog for two count. Punk calls for the GTS but Striker counters and goes for a neckbreaker but Punk counters that and nails the GTS for the win!

Winner: CM Punk

Rating: ** (Good main event that features two of my favorites on this brand. I think it's time Punk moves brands. It hurts me to say it since he's my favorite on ECW but he can't feud with The New Breed all his life! I say move him to Raw and let Cena vs. Punk begin!)

Overall tonights show was an entertaining one. We got more time for wrestling and that's a good thing. Actually this show had a little bit of everything this week. Whether your favorite is the hardcore match, squash, beautiful women dancing, or good wrestling match (Punk/Striker) it's your choice. I enjoyed all of them for the most part tonight and we'll see where the draft takes us and who the draft will give us. 6.5/10
