  • World Wrestling Entertainment has ramped up its marketing department with additional staff. Lou D’Angeli has been promoted to director of promotions and event marketing. As part of his role, D’Angeli oversees the WrestleMania Fan Axxess Tour and seeks out partnerships to promote the brand. The post went into effect April 30. D’Angeli replaced Meghan Brennan. D’Angeli joined WWE as director of live events promotions and booking in June 2006. Prior to that, he worked as assistant general manager and as director of marketing for the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO. The WWE also named Stephan Moore as retail development manager. In that role, Moore handles marketing and promotion of licensed products and key marketing tactics for the company’s retailers. He replaced Tony Galvin. Prior to joining WWE, Moore worked for Vivendi Universal, where he oversaw the brand’s life cycle marketing efforts. (Credit: PromoMagazine.com)
