Jim Ross Updates Blog, Talks About Ultimate Warrior, Doug Basham Comments On His WWE Release And TNA

    -- Jim Ross has posted his latest blog entry. Condolences to the Jarretts… Commentary.. King’s Role.. Number of PPVs.. Sheik/Warrior.. Sauces & Jerky Selling like Crazy.. DVD sets.. Charcoal Rules.. Smoking Allowed!

    -- Jim Ross talked about The Ultimate Warrior. Ross writes "I have also been asked by some of you why I am “hated” so much by The Warrior? Hate is a really strong word and I am not sure Warrior “hates” me, but it has been made abundantly clear by him that I am not on his Xmas card list. I do think there have been many times the Warrior has been misunderstood, and his uniqueness has probably not done him any favors within his former peer group at times over the years. However, that’s the same uniqueness that helped him sell lots of tickets and merchandise back in the day. I say live and let live – and would suggest that how the Warrior feels about me probably affects me about as much as how I feel about The Warrior affects him."

    -- Former OVW Champion and WWE Tag Champion Doug Basham joined ClubWWI.com today for an uncut shoot interview with James Guttman. Among the topics discussed were Doug's WWE release:

    "In our business, you can never get too comfortable because things change day by day and nothing is set in stone so getting released…everybody gets hired and gets released eventually. I wouldn't say it was a surprise or unexpected. It just happened."

    James commented that it sounded like Basham might be open to rejoining the WWE down the line. He responded:

    "I'm gonna take things day by day. Right now I'm with TNA and that's a new chapter in my career and I'm going to do the best I can to produce for TNA right now."
