WWE News: Backstage news on Too Cold Scorpio's firing, ECW & more

Too Cold Scorpio, who was released last week, was mainly fired because he had too many enemies in high places within WWE management. He had looked good in developmental and was under contract for months without being used, just sitting at home collecting paychecks.

Due to his enemies within WWE no matter how good he looked he still would not be given a fair chance. The main argument against him was that he was out of shape and he had a long track record of backstage problems. He had no problems or issues during this run with the company, but there were enough people negative on him that he would never get a chance on TV. Scorpio was mainly hired as a favor to Booker T, who he’s good friends with.

It was originally planned that he would be brought onto ECW TV as a breath of fresh air, but it never happened.
