- Many people within the wrestling industry consider Rob Van Dam to be a lock to TNA after his WWE contract expires, however, you would never know it if you went in the TNA locker room. According to one backstage source, TNA is keeping things very quiet, acting as if they have never heard of the name Rob Van Dam. While the deal is very likely to happen, expect little to be known about it until it actually happens.
- Former WSX Champion Ricky Banderas is said to be the next “monster” to come into TNA to feud with Abyss. It is expected that when he joins the company he will be managed by Jim Mitchell. Apparently the only thing that is keeping him from making an immediate impact in TNA is his hectic schedule with AAA in Mexico. One of the things that is bothering TNA officials about Tomko is the hectic schedule that he runs in Japan, making it extremely difficult for him to establish momentum with the TNA fan base.
- Another potential return to TNA could be that of Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. Despite his troubled past, discussions have already began to get serious regarding bringing back the former WWE/WCW superstar. Waltman has the chance to impress TNA officials as he is currently scheduled to work several weeks straight in Mexico and if he does so without problems that will probably greatly increase the chances of TNA bringing him back.
