WWE News: Stephanie behind recent releases; Vito’s wrestling future

• All of the recent releases in WWE are said to be the work of non other than Stephanie McMahon. According to one backstage source, with her recent promotion, Stephanie has decided to put her stamp on the roster by cutting talent that she feels is useless. Unlike the power that John Laurenaitis had, Vince is much more likely to approve roster decisions that she makes without much question. As we reported several weeks back, John Laurenaitis now reports directly to Stephanie.
  
  
• With Vito being released with WWE he now has the cross-dressing reputation to deal with. Big V had dropped the gimmick while working OVW recently, but now has to make the decision whether or not to use it, considering it may draw fans in certain independent promotions.
