WWE Judgment Day notes courtesy WrestlingObserver.com:
-- The John Cena vs. The Great Khali match is a result of WWE needing to create new matchups in the wake of its policy to feature wrestlers from all three brands on all of its pay-per-views. WWE management absolutely knows Khali's limits in the ring, but it obviously has confidence that this can be entertaining. Cena is expected to win.
-- The Hardys vs. Cade and Murdoch has been added to the card.
-- As reported earlier, Shawn Michaels has apparently decided to undergo knee surgery, which means he will have to take some time off shortly. He originally was slated to look strong in this match on the road to a PPV main-event match with John Cena, but it is unclear how the injury will affect that plan.
-- The CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke match will play a big role in determining their future on the ECW brand. WWE, along with the fans, will look to the quality of the match and their ability to generate heat as a benchmark for how far they can go in the company.
-- Bobby Lashley is expected to pin Vince McMahon before moving onto a new feud.
