Steiner comes at Devon with a fist, Devon blocks it and pounds Steiner to the ground. Back elbow to Homicide, Homicide off the ropes, forearm. Devon shot off the ropes, Thesz Press on Homicide, series of right hands to the side of Homicide's head. Working on Steiner in the corner before Homicide comes over and double team ensues on Devon. Double suplex on Devon. Devon off the ropes, clothesline from Steiner, elbow drop. Homicide taunts Ray on the outside. One count by Steiner before doing push-ups.
Devon into the corner, knife edge chops from Steiner, then from Homicide. Steiner slingshots Homicide into Devon with a cross body splash. Devon starts to fight back before Steiner comes in for more double team. Devon off the ropes, Steiner with a bear hug before hitting a release over-the-head suplex. Homicide gets a two count on Devon.
Steiner places Devon in the tree of woe, multiple boots from Steiner and Homicide. Homicide continues the boots, Steiner to the outside wrenching on Devon's neck. Ray chases him back into the ring. Homicide backs off and lets Steiner grab Devon before blind siding him with a chop to the back. Steiner shoots Homicide into the ropes, tilt-a-whirl slam, belly to-belly suplex, two count on Homicide. Steiner's able to place Homicide in the Steiner Recliner before Devon breaks it up and hits Steiner with a neck breaker.

Post-match Steiner starts throwing chairs into the ring at Team 3-D.
Winner: Homicide (Eval- Nice little match that lasted about eight minutes. I'm pretty sure that's about all Steiner has in him anymore for a singles match. He's looking good though, not as many botches. I'm enjoying it. Rating- * 1/2)
Don West and "The Professor" Mike Tenay run down the current card for Sacrifice.
Backstage JB is waiting on Christy Hemme. Steiner comes over to him and says he was taken them all on out there. Where was Team Cage? That's what you get when you work with people you don't like and you can't trust. When he was world champion, he kept his freaks in line and they always had his back. When he was world tag team champion, his brother had his back. He asks JB if he thinks his brother would have left him out there to fend for himself and pushes him away.
Christy comes up and says the first two teams don't matter, they weren't her boys. Third times a charm. They'll be at Sacrifice. JB tells her she's an announcer, and says she should be sticking with being a "bumper girl." Voodoo Kin Mafia comes up from behind, Kip puts his arm around JB and says that he sees two bumpers right now. Albeit fake ones, but bumpers nonetheless. Christy says she's not going to waste her breath, she's going to the ring with an announcement, they can come if they want. Kip says he bets she has Serotonin out there again. Kip and BG laugh and walk away. (Eval- Steiner did an okay job with his promo, this is the third week in a row he's mentioned his brother and being in a tag team with him. I'm hoping this is leading somewhere. Christy needs to quit talking. Rating- 1/2 *)
Commercial.
Christy Hemme is in the ring, followed by Voodoo Kin Mafia. They're met from behind by two men that Tenay claims are not signed with TNA. Basham beats down Kip and Damaja hits BG with Brain Damage. Christy slides a chair in and both men get knocked in the head. Christy gets on the mic and introduces her new team. Basham and 'The Damager'. Open palm slap to Kip. (Eval- During the entire segment Tenay called him Damaja, which makes sense because that's his name on the independent circuit. She referred to him as 'The Damager'. I'm hoping she messed up. I'm glad they're here, this could be a good feud. Rating- *)
Video package is shown of the past year of Jeff Jarrett's life. Him winning the title, losing the title, leaving TNA and coming back as Eric's friend.
Commercial.
Backstage JB says VKM cannot compete against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin tonight due to being assaulted by Basham and Damaja. Backlund gets in JB's face and talks pretty low, even with the mic in his face it was hard to make out his words. He turns to the camera and says Shelley and Sabin stole his book, and he wants them, then walks away.
JB turns his attention to Black Machismo Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Kevin Nash. Nash says they work as a team, it's a nice warm up for Sacrifice. Machismo says Sacrifice, yeah. Adrenaline rush, yeah. Yeah, the X Division title, coming to him, yeah. Ohhh yeaaah and walks away. JB begins to talk to the camera and Dutt interrupts. No time for Dutt, huh? JB says they're out of time and we come to the iMPACT! Zone.
Match II // Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin v. Black Machismo Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt Machismo and Shelley lock up, side head lock by Shelley. Off the ropes, shoulder block sends Machismo down. Foot placed to Machismo's throat in an attempt to suffocate. Machismo fights back with some right hands. Machismo whipped into the ropes, side elbow. Shelley to the opposite corner, Machismo springboards over the rope bringing Shelley down. Machismo up top, double sledge sends Shelley down, two count.
Sabin tagged in, Sabin and Shelley bite the thumbs of Machismo. Machismo fights them off, double kicks sent to Machismo's gut. Shelley with a kick to Machismo's chest, Sabin off the ropes with a sledge to the back of Machismo's head, Shelley drops Machismo's face into his knee, Sabin off the opposite ropes hits a drop-kick and two count. Sabin rakes the nose and eyes of Machismo, off the ropes, running kick to the back of Machismo's head. Two count. Tag to Shelley, double back elbows, double suplex, Shelley off the ropes with a leg drop, Sabin off the ropes with a leg drop and they pose in the ring.
Rights by Shelley, Sabin back in, Machismo into the corner. Big boot to Shelley, Sabin runs in and catches Machismo's leg. Machismo goes for an enzugiri, misses Sabin and catches Shelley in the back of the head. Machismo rolls through a clothesline by Sabin and tags in Dutt. Dutt with a springboard front flip over the top rope, huracanrana on Sabin. Rights to Shelley, reversal puts Dutt into the ropes, spring board off the second rope, huracanrana on Shelley. Spine buster, spring board off the second rope, moonsault, two count on Shelley.
Sonjay off the ropes, Shelley hits him with a cutter. Machismo hits Lethal Combination on Shelley, Sabin connects with a clothesline on Machismo. Sonjay from behind, Sonjay Cutter on Sabin. Machismo up top looking for the elbow drop, Sonjay calls him off. Sabin with a spinning back kick, Shelley hits a super kick then met by an enzugiri/super kick combination. Shelley hits the Shellshock and gets the three count.
Post-match Backlund comes down and throws Shelley into the ring then hits Sabin with a forearm. Sabin thrown into the ring. Machismo with a fist to Shelley, Backlund scoops him and sends him down. Sabin picked up, atomic drop sends Sabin over the top rope. Machismo celebrates in the ring and Sonjay looks at him like he's nuts. (Note- During the match it was announced that at Sacrifice we'll see Jerry Lynn v. Alex Shelley v. Senshi v. Tiger Mask IV in a Four Corners X Division Match.)
Winners: Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley (Eval- Beautiful match. Sabin needs to lose the title to Sonjay or Machismo at Sacrifice and team up with Shelley full time. I would adore a Team 3-D/ShelleySabin feud. Also, the Sonjay Cutter is almost as pretty as the Canadian Destroyer. Rating- ** 1/2)
Commercial.
JB backstage with Cage, Angle and Sting. Christopher Daniels was talking to Sting and we can hear Sting say 'Now's not the right time.' JB starts with Sting and says Jeff handed him the title shot. Sting said he was surprised too, and Angle would take the same gift. Wait, he did. Last week Sting gave him the same gift. Kurt said it was a different scenario, he did it because Jeff did it, he had to, not because he wanted to.
Cage says he'll have to agree with Kurt Angle, the Olympic Gold Medalist, or as Sting likes to call him, the Olympic Gym Teacher. Sting tells him to shut up. Sting tells Kurt he qualified twice, and if he wants, he'll qualify a third. Kurt asks if he wants another match with him. Kurt said all he did was hit him in the gut with a bat. Sting says he cost him the title, he deserved it.
Cage interrupts and says that he'll have to side with 'The Face Paint' on this one. He did kind of interfere, although Sting only had a minuscule chance of winning. He doesn't know why Kurt did that but it wasn't cool. Kurt tells Cage to shut up and says Sting didn't do anything for this, it should be Kurt v. Cage only. Cage says neither of them qualified really. Sting says if Kurt doesn't like the way he got the shot, do something about it. Kurt says he will, he'll find him tonight. Cage continues to fuel the fire and asks Sting if he's going to take that, then tells Kurt to "go get him!" (Eval- Ahaha, I love it. These three guys are great on the mic. Also, I'm glad they're moving the Daniels/Sting storyline forward. Although really slow, at least I'm seeing it. Rating- * 1/2)
Samoa Joe, Chris Harris and Rhino make their way to the ring accompanied by Gail Kim.
Commercial.
Match III // Samoa Joe, Chris Harris, Rhino w/ Gail Kim v. Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, James Storm v/ Jackie Joe and Storm start off, but before they begin, Storm grabs his cowboy hat and puts it on. Storm swings, misses, Joe with multiple Thai kicks to Storm's thighs. Tag to Harris and Storm rolls to the outside. Tag to Styles, Styles twists Harris' arm before Wildcat turns it into an over head wrist lock. Kicks to Styles, delayed vertical suplex, tag by Joe and he hits the senton back splash.
Joe puts the boots to AJ before putting him into the corner, fast combo of fists before a jumping spin kick. Tag to Rhino, Rhino works AJ in the corner. Shoulder blocks applied to AJ, knocking the wind from him. Knife edge chop by Rhino, AJ shoots him into the corner. Rhino up top, Daniels pushes him off. Tag to Daniels. Storm on the outside beating on Rhino.
Commercial.
Daniels and Rhino in the ring, elbow by Daniels. Rhino into the ropes, standing drop-kick and a two count by Daniels. Tag to AJ, double team on Rhino sends him into the ropes, double elbows before multiple stomps applied. AJ applies a face lock on Rhino in the middle of the ring, he's able to fight back with fists to AJ's gut, sledge to AJ's back. Daniels in with a clothesline on Rhino. AJ gets a two count.
Rhino into the heel corner, Daniels begins choking him on the second rope. Tag made to Daniels, in with boots to Rhino. Tag to Storm, he begins taunting Rhino with small boots. Over to the corner he spits beer into Harris' face. Rhino gets the tag on Harris. Storm rolls to the outside. Harris takes AJ and Daniels down, full nelson slam on Daniels. Double team by AJ and Daniels shoots Harris off into the ropes. Joe with a snap power slam on AJ, Rhino with a spine buster on Daniels simultaneously. Joe and AJ outside, Daniels and Rhino outside on the opposite side. Jackie throws the beer bottle in, Storm can't get it but Harris does. The ref grabs it and Storm's able to roll Harris up using his tights for the three count.
Post-match Storm runs into the crowd, Harris follows him. They fight by the edge of the rail, Storm almost goes over, so does Harris but Harris is able to hit a back body drop sending Storm over the railing and to the concrete below.
Winners: Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles and James Storm (Eval- Very good match, they all work well together. Sets up the feuds nicely for the pay-per-view. I can't wait for Sacrifice. Rating- **)
Sting and Kurt fight through the tunnel and down to the ring. Quickly broken up by referees and security. Christian Cage stands at the top of the tunnel and watches with a smile. Sting and Kurt fight through security as we are shown a video package for Sacrifice and go off the air.
Final Analysis- A very good iMPACT!, I was impressed. I'm actually looking forward to the three way tag team match because Steiner seems to be improving. I'd like to see Sabin lose his title and team up with Shelley full time and if not feud with Team 3-D, create X Division Tag Team belts. I'm also looking forward to the Damaja/Basham/VKM feud. All backstage promos were good, and the main event was very well put together. 7.5/10. Good morning folks.
