Winner: Marcus Cor Von
Rating: ** (Decent match that was given time. I'm a big Punk fan and I think his match with Burke at Judgment Day will be good. I'm glad ECW has a match on the PPV as well and not just the ECW title rematch.)
Joey Styles and Tazz announce big news and they tell us we have a new World Heavyweight Champion and his name is....Edge!!
They recap Edge winning the Money in the Bank from Mr. Kennedy last night on Raw and said go to WWE.COM for more details. (Or read the spoilers here for this Friday's Smackdown at lordsofpain.)

"The Condemned" promo.
Match 2: The Sandman vs. Snitsky
Snitsky throws Sandman into the corner but Sandman with kicks. Snitsky with a clothesline and running boot and this one's over.
Winner: Snitsky
Rating: None (This squash wouldn't even be good enough to air on Heat and that's saying something.)
Backstage Vince motivated Shane and Umaga. Shane says they will show Lashley an example by beating RVD tonight. Vince and Umaga like the sound of that.
-Commercial-
Extreme Expose Layla, Kelly Kelly, and Brooke are in the ring. They dance to Britney Spears song "Toxic." They do their thing and end by tossing the chair out of the ring and posing to the crowd for very little response. (I think all three girls are extremely hot but there talents should be used for something else like managing or bikini contests not stupid dance routines.)
Recap of Vince winning the ECW title at Backlash.
Recap of Vince and Lashley's confrontation last night from Raw.
Recap of Lashley/Estrada segment from earlier tonight. (What's with all the recaps tonight?)
Backstage Elijah Burke is talking to Matt Striker. Burke says he is disapointed by Striker's loss from last week. Burke says he wants Striker to come to the ring tonight and show him how it's done.
-Commercial-
Recap of The Majors debut last week beating Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von much to the chagrin of Elijah Burke.
Match 3: Brian Majors with Brett Majors vs. Elijah Burke with Matt Striker

Burke with a huge right hand knocking Brian Major off of his feet. Burke chokes Brian in the corner. Brian comes back but misses a flying crossbody. Burke nails the "Elijah Experience" for the win.
Winner: Elijah Burke
Rating: 1/2 * (Ok match, wasn't given enough time. I like Elijah Burke and his character as well as Matt Striker. The Majors are new to me but we'll see where they go.)
After the match Matt Striker with kicks to Brian's ribs and holds up Burke's arm and pleads for his forgiveness.
Up next is a 3 On 1 Handicap Match: Vince, Shane, and Umaga vs. Rob Van Dam
-Commercial-
Backstage Ariel tells Kevin Thorne the cards hold chaos and termoil but Throne stops her saying his future is not the New Breed or the cards but his future is fresh blood.
Match 4: 3 On 1 Handicap Match: Shane McMahon, Umaga, and ECW Champion Vince McMahon vs. Rob Van Dam
-Commercial-
Shane starts out the match for his team and he and RVD lock up but RVD counters with an arm wringer. Shane counters with a somewhat botched arm drag. Shane with a go behind into a hammerlock but RVD counters and rolls up Shane with his legs for a two count. RVD with a couple of arm drags and Shane runs into a spin kick. RVD then goes to chase Vince but Umaga goes after RVD but runs into a kick right to his face! RVD grabs Vince but Shane nails a baseball slide and in the process saving his dad. In the ring Shane with an arm lock but RVD fights back and leap frogs Shane and nails a snap kick directly to Shane's face. Umaga low bridges the ropes and a charging RVD goes to the outside. Umaga tosses RVD back first into the steel steps. Back in the ring Umaga tags in and punches away at RVD. Umaga with a headbutt and leg drop. Umaga tags in Vince who covers but only gets a one count. Vince tags out to Umaga who lands a samoan drop. Umaga tags back out to Vince who covers but this time gets a two count. Vince tags out to Umaga again who punches away at RVD in the corner. Umaga charges but RVD dropkicks Umaga's knees and Umaga goes face first into the turn buckle. RVD with another dropkick to Umaga and tosses Shane over the top rope as well. RVD counters the samoan spike with a front kick off the top rope and goes for the five star frog splash but Shane crotches him on the top rope. Shane nails a superplex to RVD. Umaga tags in and goes up top as well and nails a splash. Umaga with the samoan spike and he tags out to Vince. Vince covers but botches the pinfall by pinning RVD with one shoulder up so Vince recovers this time with both RVD's shoulders on the mat and gets the three count.
Winners: Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Umaga
Rating: ** (Decent main event with the heels looking strong and a nice showcase for RVD. Lashley not being on the show other than a stupid backstage skit was dumb on a booking standpoint.)
After the match Tommy Dreamer and Sabu run down to the ring and checks on RVD as the McMahon's and Umaga celebrate.
Overall tonights show featured two decent bouts and a terrible squash. As well as a decent one (Burke/Majors.) This show was ok in my book but if you missed it you won't be missing too much as we'll probably see the handicap match on a recap on Raw next Monday. 4.5/10
Have a good one, Jason
