The word from people coming out of the first autograph session at 9 was that
Matt Hardy, CM Punk, Lilian Garcia and Kane among others were there, which
can be in part confirmed by the fact we saw Lilian coming out as we were
waiting for the second session. For the second session the line snaked
around several queues inside an otherwise vast and empty ballroom, and in
the last line of the queue Tazz and Coach were autographing programs and
posing for photos. Coach was asked by one fan in line what it was like to
get his head shoved through a wall by DX and he replied, "Not nearly as bad
as having my butt spraypainted!" Another fan asked Tazz to put him in a
headlock, which he said for safety reasons he won't do because one year he
did and somebody slipped and bumped their head, and then he had to go
explain himself to Vince. I told him, "You should have said you were an ECW
original, and accidents happen." He started beaming from ear to ear.

Instead of signing the front and back covers of the souveneir program this
year, WWE had people take their programs and dog-ear them to the specific
pages people were on, which drew many loud complaints about ruining the
travel package souveneir - not so many though as The Miz drew just for *BEING
THERE* at the autograph table. Fans were yelling "MIZ YOU SUCK" at him even
before they got there, but honestly the little weasel was taking it in
stride and cracking jokes; telling Nitro in particular "Hey I'm everybody's
favorite wrestler!" And the table was, from left to right, Carlito, The Miz,
Johnny Nitro and Kenny Dykstra. Carlito saw my CM Punk shirt and said that
he and Maria broke up because she caught Punk in bed with another man.
Needless to say Maria noticed the shirt too as she and Sandman were doing
the posed photos right before the ballroom exit, and when she complimented
me on it I had to tell her "the autograph table" said she and him broke up
(didn't want to pin it on anyone in particular). She said "No, we're still
together," at which point Sandman wisecracked "Her and me? Nah she broke up
with me too." I made a wisecrack about how he could take out his
frustrations on somebody in the ring with the singapore cane, but as usual
with a WWE queue you have to keep it moving.

Honestly a lot of people were dissapointed that the morning autograph
session people had changed, and I have to admit I was too because this is
the second year in a row where I missed Matt Hardy because he was at the
other one. It would be nice if they could let you pick and choose which one
to go to, then again if you knew you were going to an autograph session with
The Miz would *YOU* go? It does make me question the logic of the travel
packages though, as with no offense to Miz and Kenny they aren't really as
"platinum" as Kane or Hardy V1. I think next year I may buy just the tickets
for WrestleMania, skip the HOF and the rest, and go to both nights for Ring
of Honor instead of only seeing Friday night's show (assuming they run
Orlando).
