WWE will be making a return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Sunday, June 10th for a SmackDown/ECW matinée house show.
This is interesting given the fact that they pulled ECW One Night Stand from the venue moving it to Jacksonville, Florida on June 3rd.
It will be interesting to see the crowd’s reaction since New York City is known for the die hard “old school” ECW fans. Tickets for the house show will be going on sale in late April.
UPDATE: After deciding to run this house show yesterday, WWE changed their mind and thus has canceled the return to the Hammerstein Ballroom.
