- Thanks to Jesse The Mark for sending in the following information:
FRIDAY MARCH 23rd, 2007 Court Time Sports Center 95 Enterprise Dr. Elizabeth PA 15037 BELLTIME: 8:00 PM Ringside Tickets: $20.00 General Admission: $15.00 Kids Under 10 General Admission: $7.00
IWC World Heavyweight Title Match: RICKY REYES defends against "The Notorious 187" HOMICIDE Ricky Reyes has defended the IWC World Heavyweight Title with class and respect. He's taken on all comers, from "The Shooter" Brent Albright to Shirley Doe to his former Rottweilers partner Low Ki. At The Road To Super Indy VI, he takes on yet another of his former Rottweiler teammates, "The Notorious 187" Homicide! The former ROH World Champion will be making his return to IWC for the first time since the Rottweilers of Homicide and Low Ki exploded in Super Indy IV. Homicide now returns to IWC for a shot at his former tag partner, once again looking for IWC gold. In addition to his spot in Super Indy IV, Homicide also competed for the IWC Super Indy Title against then-champion AJ Styles in April 2004 at A Gangsta's Retribution (a clip can be seen in the first episode of IWC Ignition Online). This is his first shot at the IWC World Heavyweight Title. Reyes seems unstoppable, but can an opponent that knows his game-plan be his road block in a longer title reign?
IWC Super Indy Title Match: "Balls Hot" TROY LORDS defends against "Fabulous" JOHN McCHESNEY The only 3-time IWC Super Indy Champion used to have his eye on the gold. Not only for himself, but to prove to the world that he deserved to be in the upper echelon of professional wrestling. John McChesney was focused on winning the gold for a positive personal gain. But somewhere along the line, that changed for McChesney. Was it during his series with Delirious last summer and fall that changed his ways? Was it the draw with Low Ki in December in what was supposed to be their final meeting? Or was it losing the title to Troy Lords in January during the 5 minute overtime? After he lost the title, the "Fabulous" one uncharacteristically threw the title at Troy Lords' feet. The next month at Accept No Limitations 3, both men competed once again in a no time limit match where Lords defeated McChesney to prove he could do so without the last-minute overtime addition to the match. But, McChesney couldn't stand it. He demanded one more match. But this time, the gold is not to prove how good he is, or to silence his critics. This time, the Super Indy Title is just to stroke McChesney's appetite for gold that has seemingly grown over the past few months. Lords must defend the title against McChesney, but this will be "Fabulous"' last shot at the Super Indy Title. If McChesney fails here, the only way he can win the title again is if he goes through every round of the Super Indy VI tournament. He did it once before at Super Indy IV, but no Super Indy tournament winner has gone through the prestigious tournament more than once. Will McChesney be able to capitalize on his final chance at the title? Or will his appetite for gold be his final downfall?
SJK's Road to the Title Continues: STERLING JAMES KEENAN vs. DENNIS GREGORY Sterling James Keenan has taken on Low Ki, Larry Sweeney, Vendetta, and Delirious on his way to the title... all new stops in the road that he has never faced one-on-one. But that trend ends on March 23rd. Sterling James Keenan's next stop on his road is a familiar one. One he has met before on his road to his first IWC Heavyweight Title reign. In fact, this stop in the road is the one he faced to win the IWC Title the first time: the only former 3-time IWC Champion, Dennis Gregory! Gregory recently made his return to America after serving a special mission for the US Air Force in Afghanistan, and his first match back in IWC will be taking on the man who pinned him to end his 2nd title reign in November 2003, SJK. Will Dennis Gregory end SJK's road to the title this time around? Or will the result be the same?
Super Indy VI Qualifying Match: SHIIMA XION vs. JIMMY JACOBS Jimmy Jacobs will be making his return to IWC at The Road to Super Indy VI. But the Jimmy Jacobs that IWC fans grew to love hasn't been seen in some time. Gone are the furry boots, the wild antics, and the familiar "HUSS!" that accompanied every Jacobs match. Now, Jacobs seems to have embraced the "emo" lifestyle, as seen on recent Ring of Honor and Wrestling Society X events. Jacobs seems more concerned with his emotional, sensitive side than with the intensity and focus that are necessary to be successful in wrestling. However, he was able to gain a spot in a Super Indy VI Qualifying Match. While Jacobs was one of the most popular IWC stars for over a year, he never won IWC gold. Speaking of IWC gold, the IWC Tag Team Champions are striking out on their own this month, as both members of BabyFace Fire, Shiima Xion & Jason Gory, are competing in Super Indy Qualifying Matches. While Gory is faced with HENTAI, Xion must battle with Jacobs. Shiima Xion tried his hardest to enter the Super Indy V tournament last year, just falling short of his shot against Troy Lords. But, he was entered into Super Indy IV. After defeating Canadian star Tyson Dux in his Super Indy Qualifier, Xion had the unenviable task of facing "The Notorious 187" Homicide in the opening round of the fourth tournament. This year, Shiima once again wants in the tournament. Only Jimmy Jacobs stands in his way.
Super Indy VI Qualifying Match: JASON GORY vs. HENTAI HENTAI is a man looking for his identity. In 2005 and 2006, he was a member of the Unholy Alliance, trying to bring down the company he helped build. But after Sebastian Dark & Shirley Doe were released at the end of 2006, HENTAI and the only other Unholy Alliance member left, Dean Radford, were out to prove they could stand without the Alliance. After a successful start against the Gambino Brothers in January, Radford fell to Vendetta last month while HENTAI was unable to attend the event. This month, HENTAI will face off with one-half of the IWC Tag Team Champions, Jason Gory. Gory, along with many graduates of the Coalition of Competition, were trained by HENTAI, among others. He looked up to HENTAI, and when the masked man trained in Hayabusa, Japan turned his back on IWC and it's locker room, Gory struggled for a locker room leader to look up to. His team with Xion has been on the rapid climb to success since they started teaming, recently capturing the Tag Team gold in December. Gory & Xion are arguably the most popular stars in IWC. But their popularity will not win them spots in the most prestigious tournament this year. Super Indy VI already has 5 spots filled with only 3 left. Will both Tag Team Champions earn a spot?
Tag Team Grudge Match: THE CLEVELAND MAFIA ("The Big Daddy of Destruction" J-Rocc & "The Baddest Man in IWC" Ray Rowe) vs. THE HOLLYWOOD BALDS (Vendetta & "DeeeeLicious" Jimmy DeMarco) "The Baddest Man in IWC" Raymond Rowe and "The Big Daddy of Destruction" J-Rocc have had their share of problems with The Family. The Hollywood Balds and the Gambino Brothers have been a thorn in the sides of the team from Cleveland for months now. J-Rocc and the Gambinos have been warring in IWC for over 2 years now. At Accept No Limitations 3 last month, the Mafia was set for a 3-on-2 match against the Gambinos & DeMarco where the winners earned a shot at the IWC Tag Team Titles in the future. The Mafia were well on their way to victory, decimating the former Tag Champs with suplexes on bleachers and slams into doors and all kinds of destruction. But, with the interference of DeMarco's Balds partner Vendetta, the Gambinos got the win. But, the Mafia won the battle as they destroyed the Family following the match. At The Road To Super Indy VI, the emotions in this Tag Team Grudge Match will boil over, and one team will be lucky to leave with their bearings in tact!
MAVERICK's Mystery Team to get revenge on SEXUAL HARASSMENT? After Maverick jumped to the side of Sexual Harassment, things never really got comfortable. Idol & Xtasy didn't really need a business manager, or really, any of the other services Maverick offered. He did not help them win the Tag Team Titles when he joined them in December, or when they had their shot in January, and he may have even hindered their win by teaming them with the uncontrollable Danshoku Dino (pulling himself out of the match in the process) last month against BabyFace Fire & KUDO. So, Xtasy & Idol fired Maverick publicly. He has sworn revenge against the odd couple team. In a statement sent to IWC offices, Maverick said he will "turn the IWC tag division upside down" and that his team has been seen on national television in the past year. Who will Maverick's team be? How will they match up to Xtasy & Idol?
"Hot Property" Jason Cage vs. Nobutaka Moribe Over the last few months, "Hot Property" Jason Cage has been impressing IWC fans and officials alike with his in-ring performance recently. He impressed officials enough to be granted a spot in the Super Indy VI Qualifying Match with Jay Lethal in January. Although he came up short, he received a great ovation from IWC fans, and raised the eyebrows of the officials. Another new IWC star who impressed was Nobutaka Moribe. A protege of former WWF and ECW star Dick Togo, Moribe competed in another Super Indy VI Qualifying Match against Azrieal. Moribe's in-ring tribute to his idol, Eddie Guerrero caught the eye of the fans, and while he was also defeated, he made an impact on the fans, who want to see more of this Japanese star. In February, they did, as Moribe was able to defeat the unique American Balloon with a very Guerrero-like Frog Splash. Over the last few months, "Hot Property" Jason Cage has been impressing IWC fans and officials alike with his in-ring performance recently. He impressed officials enough to be granted a spot in the Super Indy VI Qualifying Match with Jay Lethal last month. Moribe's in-ring tribute to his idol, Eddie Guerrerro caught the eye of the fans, and while he was also defeated, he made an impact on the fans, who want to see more of this Japanese star. After impressing fans & officials alike, these men now have more time to shine, and both men would love to pick up the win. This is a match to keep your eye on!
Dean Radford vs. Michael "The Bomber" Facade Dean Radford seems to have a grudge against the younger members of the IWC roster. First it was Jason Gory in August. Then Jason Cage in September. After taking on CJ Sensation the months following, Radford & his former Unholy Alliance partner HENTAI made quick work of the Gambinos in January. Radford was about to pick up the win against Vendetta in February when Jimmy DeMarco interfered and threw powder in the eyes of Radford, the exact same way Radford & HENTAI won in January. Now, Radford will be taking on the mysterious Michael "The Bomber" Facade. While his ninja-like appearance and affinity for graffiti might confuse some, Facade's in-ring abilities seem to be growing in front of our eyes. He's getting closer and closer to a victory, last month almost defeating 16-year veteran "Simply Marvelous" Mitch Ryder with a top rope cross body block, until Ryder turned it over into a pinning combination while holding the tights behind the referee's back. Will Facade finally be the one to end Radford's bullying tendencies? Or will he be just an other victory for the rising Radford?
PLUS much much more!!

IWC's Night of Legends 3 Info:
SATURDAY MARCH 24th, 2007 Franklin Area High School 246 Pone Lane Franklin, PA 16323 BELLTIME: 7:30 PM Ringside Reserved Tickets: $25.00 - SOLD OUT!! Ringside Tickets: $20.00 General Admission: $15.00 Press Conference Tickets: $7.00 (must be purchased with regular show ticket!)
IWC World Heavyweight Title Match: RICKY REYES or HOMICIDE (whoever is champion after 3/23) defends against "Sweet N Sour" LARRY SWEENEY For a man on a losing streak during the end of 2006, Larry Sweeney has rebounded more than many other IWC stars in the past. Since the beginning of 2007, Sweeney has earned himself a spot in IWC's Super Indy VI tournament, and defeated TNA star "Showtime" Eric Young. Now, Sweeney has earned himself a shot at the IWC World Heavyweight Title in Franklin. Sweeney and Reyes have met before in an IWC ring. Twice, to be exact. The first time, Sweeney used dirty tricks to score the victory. The second time, he wasn't so lucky. Reyes locked in his patented Dragon Sleeper to earn the win. After that, both men's careers took different paths. Sweeney struggled to earn another victory, while Reyes defeated 3 men in one night to become the IWC World Heavyweight Champion. So far, Reyes has fought valiently to defend his title, but will his title reign come to an end on Friday night? Will Sweeney be across the ring against a familiar foe, or a new champion? Sweeney knows what to expect from Reyes after their first two encounters. But what kind of tricks will Sweeney have up his sleeve if he must face "The Notorious 187" Homicide for the first time?
Pittsburgh Legends Match: DOMINIC DeNUCCI w/ Bruno Sammartino vs. LARRY ZBYSZKO w/ Lord Zoltan On one side of the ring will be former WWWF Tag Team Champion Dominic DeNucci, cornered by former 2-time WWWF World Heavyweight Champion and DeNucci's frequent tag team partner in Pittsburgh, Bruno Sammartino! DeNucci is perhaps best remembered as one of the most well-known instructors in recent memory, having trained MIck Foley, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, and many others. What is there to say about Bruno Sammartino that hasn't already been said? His first reign began as he defeated the first champion, "Nature Boy" Buddy Rodgers, at Madison Square Garden. The reign would last an amazing 8 years, a record that has yet to be broken. Bruno also set another record: the first wrestler to hold the WWWF Championship twice, defeated Stan "The Man" Stasiak, and holding the title for another 3 years. Bruno has kept his distance from the wrestling business, only choosing to attend the most special events. Night of Legends 3 is no different! On the other side of the ring will be another former WWF Tag Team Champion, WCW Tag Team Champion, & WCW TV Champion, Larry Zbyszko, cornered by a Pittsburgh legend who has been wrestling for 30-plus years, Lord Zoltan! For years, Zbyszko was considered a living legend in professional wrestling, and a favorite among fans everywhere. But recently, he turned his back on the fans. These actions have left him outcasted by many in the wrestling business. The only man who offered to be in his corner is a man just as evil and vile as Zbyszko has been acting lately: Lord Zoltan. His Lordship has been in the ring with nearly every major name imaginable in professional wrestling, including DeNucci in recent months. His presence in Zbyszko's corner will definitely be something to keep an eye on, especially since Zoltan is not above using dirty tactics to achieve his victories!
IWC Super Indy Title Match: " Balls Hot" Troy Lords defends against Nobutaka Moribe No matter the outcome on 3/23, this match will take place, whether it's for the title or not! Troy Lords worked for six years to become the IWC Super Indy Champion. Shot after shot came, and finally he earned the gold after defeating "Fabulous" John McChesney. Now that he has the belt, he must defend it against the best in the world. Tis includes Japanese star Nobutaka Moribe. Moribe, currently on a tour of America, has wrestled in promotions such as DDT in Japan. He is a protege of former WWE & ECW star Dick Togo, and teamed with him to win the KO-D Iron Man Tag Team Titles in the aforementioned DDT promotion. Like many wrestlers today, Moribe looked up to the late, great Eddie Guerrero. His adoration shows through in his ring attire and in-ring style. Utilizing such moves made famous by Guerrero as the Frog Splash and Three Amigos, Moribe is taking America by storm. Recently, he defeated the rather unique American Balloon in an IWC ring. Lords will have his hands full in the former of the Japanese star Moribe whether he has the Super Indy Title or not.
Legends Match: TITO SANTANA vs. GREG "The Hammer" VALENTINE A former Intercontinental champion, and a member of WWF Tag Team Champions Strike Force, Tito Santana has a long, storied career. He started in Texas, and briefly worked for the NWA and AWA, but his greatest success came with with the WWF. In 1979, he teamed with Ivan Putski to win the WWF Tag Team Titles from the Valiant brothers, Jerry & Johnny. Santana held the WWF Intercontinental Title on two separate occasions, winning both from his opponent on this night, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine! He teamed with Rick Martel to form Strike Force, and the duo won the WWF Tag Team Titles in 1987 from the Hart Foundation. After Martel turned on Santana, they feuded until Santana became "El Matador". He continued to compete as the Mexican bull fighter until his retirement from full-time competition in 1993. He has since only wrestled on special occasions, including his 2005 match at Newville Knockout where he defeated Lord Zoltan! Valentine, son of the legendary Johnny Valentine, was no stranger to championships when his feud with Santana came about. After training under Stu Hart and the original Shiek, Valentine perfected his craft in the Buffalo, Cleveland, Florida, and Texas area until settling in the Mid-Atlantic area, making a name for himself in the NWA affiliate in that area. He teamed with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair to win three sets of tag team titles, one in the Mid-Atlantic area, and 2 with the NWA. After the team split and Flair set his sights on his first singles gold, Valentine held the tag titles once more, this time with Baron Von Raschke. After that, Valentine entered a feud with Wahoo McDaniel over the NWA Mid-Atlantic Championship where he broke Wahoo's massive leg, not with his signature figure four or legendary elbow drop, but with a vicious suplex. He then feuded with Flair, Wahoo, and had an infamous feud with Roddy Piper which culminated in a legendary dog collar match. When he left the NWA for WWF, he immediately entered a feud with Intercontinental champion Santana. Their long, bitter feud over the title intensified when he injured Santana's knee with the figure four. Santana eventually won the title back in a steel cage match, after which Valentine destroyed the title (the subsequent new title belt was the one made famous for 13 years in WWF). He teamed with Brutus Beefcake to win the WWF Tag Team Titles, and later feuded with Ronnie Garvin after ending another team with another IWC alumnus, Honky Tonk Man. After leaving WWF, he held the WCW US Tag Team Titles for a short time, and has since been plying his trade on the independent scene. This will be his IWC debut, and IWC is happy to welcome both men on March 24th at Night of Legends 3!
IWC Tag Team Title Four-Way Dance: BABYFACE FIRE (champions Shiima Xion & Jason Gory) vs. SEXUAL HARASSMENT (Eric Xtasy & Justin Idol) vs. THE GAMBINO BROTHERS (Mickey & Marshall Gambino) vs. THE CLEVELAND MAFIA ("The Big Daddy of Destruction" J-Rocc & "The Baddest Man in IWC" Raymond Rowe) The biggest rivalries in IWC during 2006 were between these four teams. Current champions Shiima Xion & Jason Gory put their differences aside and formed BabyFace Fire. The Cleveland Mafia rose to popularity, thanks to the brains of "The Big Daddy of Destruction" J-Rocc and the brawn of "The Baddest Man in IWC" Ray Rowe. The Gambinos were once the most popular team in IWC. But, their alliance with their rulebreaking cousin Jimmy DeMarco and his partner Vendetta led them to becoming the most hated. Sexual Harassment was the biggest dynasty in IWC tag team history. The flamboyant "Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy, with several partners, held many tag team titles in the Pittsburgh area. Now, he's back in IWC, this time with the very un-flamboyant "Aerial Icon" Justin Idol. All throughout 2006, these teams battled over the IWC Tag Team Titles, ending 2006 with the Most Memorable Moment of the Year, a balcony dive by Jason Gory onto a pile of bodies on the floor of Court Time Sports Center. Franklin High School will now see the latest chapter in this huge ongoing battle of teams!
If SJK survives 3/23, this will continue his Road to the Title! If Fabulous wins 3/23, this will be for the IWC Super Indy Title! STERLING JAMES KEENAN vs. "FABULOUS" JOHN McCHESNEY One of the most popular IWC stars in recent memory, Sterling James Keenan is on a road to the IWC World Heavyweight Title. After IWC Promoter Norm Connors decreed that SJK must win every match until Super Indy VI on May 11th, Keenan has been running through the competition. Having defeated such stars as Low Ki, Vendetta, Delirious, and Larry Sweeney, SJK now faces much more familiar competiton: Dennis Gregory and "Fabulous" John McChesney. Keenan is a former 2-time IWC Super Indy Champion, and both of his title wins came at the expense of McChesney. The only former 3-time Super Indy Champion, the "Fabulous" one is more aggressive than ever, having gold on his mind. Will Fabulous stop at nothing to ensure SJK doesn't make it to Super Indy?
Legends Match: JIM "The Anvil" NEIDHART vs. SALVATORE SINCERE Franklin Area High School will see the IWC debut of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart! After being a football player in the NFL, Neidhart trained for wrestling under Stu Hart in the legendary Dungeon. He got his nickname "The Anvil" after winning an anvil tossing contest at a Calgary festival. This former 2-time WWF Tag Team Champion was one-half of one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history, The Hart Foundation. On March 24th at Franklin Area High School, Neidhart will take on the self-proclaimed "most sincere man in wrestling", Salvatore Sincere. Sincere is supposedly a ladies man, and despite his claims that he loves everyone, he uses every dirty tactic in the game just to get ahead. Sincere is the kind of guy who would love to take advantage of a situation and pin the beloved Neidhart in front of all the IWC fans in Franklin on March 24th. But the Anvil wont go down that easy!
DENNIS GREGORY vs. HENTAI Dennis Gregory and HENTAI are no strangers to one another. Throughout 2006, these men were involved in the Team IWC vs. Unholy Alliance feud, where they faced off many times. This time is different. HENTAI is now a man on a mission. After being aligned with the Unholy Alliance since its inception in 2005, and with Sebastian Dark and Shirley Doe having been released from IWC and the group disbanded, HENTAI wants to prove that he can survive on his own. Even if it means the entire locker room still hates him for turning his back on them. His credentials prove that he can, as HENTAI is the first Super Indy Champion, having won the first ever Super Indy Toutnament in 2002. He also held the title just shy of a year, a record that has yet to be broken. Gregory recently returned from a tour of Afghanistan with the US Air Force. When he returned, he ran down a list of IWC stars and challenged them all. It's obvious Gregory is taking on all challengers, and that includes any of his old Alliance foes!
