If you noticed last night on ECW on Sci-Fi Sabu was wearing Daivari’s tights. Apparently Sabu arrived at the venue late and claimed his luggage was lost by the airline. WWE performers are suppose to check in at TV tapings early in the afternoon on the day of the show, but Sabu did not arrive until 7 p.m.
Today’s announcement of WrestleMania 24 being held at the Citrus Bowl has created a lot of media attention all throughout the Orlando area. It is being reported that every major newspaper and news broadcast is carrying stories about WWE hosting their biggest event of the year in the area.
ECW superstar Matt Striker was featured under his real name Matthew Kaye in this week’s Time Out New York Magazine. The magazine highlights Striker in an article talking about New York City teachers. They grade him a “C” and note he used sick time to tour as a professional wrestler. The magazine also states he resigned as a teacher on May 2, 2005 and signed with WWE in July of 2005.
