WWE News: Injury update on Edge, Vince McMahon disappointed, WWE 24/7 Submitted by Jason Brown on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 2:57 PM EST
As reported last week here on LordsOfPain.net, Edge hasn’t been wrestling lately due to an injured jaw and he will not be 100% heading into WrestleMania. This is why WWE Champion John Cena wrestled Johnny Nitro at RAW in Phoenix and why Umaga wrestled Jeff Hardy at last week’s RAW in Washington D.C. Edge was scheduled to be pushed in both of those matches; however due to the injury he was put off. He has also been pulled from all house shows.
WWE 24/7 will be launching for Charter Cable customers nationwide Thursday, March 29th. The service is a monthly subscription at a rate of $7.99 a month.
There was said to be a lot of disappointment within WWE last week after the McMahon-Trump angle did not get as much mainstream publicity as they had hoped. Vince had expected to get another huge stream of media attention such as the angle on March 6th with Steve Austin.
