MTV pulls the season finale of Wrestling Society X

- The Wrestling Society X/MTV saga continues once again. MTV has quietly removed the final Wrestling Society X episode that was scheduled to air this Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. EST and replaced it with an edition of The Real World. An internal source within MTV said that the episode was never scheduled to air, however it was listed on MTV’s web site and in TV Guide.
Rumors are circulating that MTV2 may begin to air previous WSX episodes; however no word if the final episode (which features an exploding steel cage match) will ever air.
The wrestlers’ contracts are set to expire 90 days after the initial airing of the Season One series finale. With the episode not airing, it leaves the talent in somewhat of a legal bind to sign with WWE or TNA.
