TNA Destination X Results (03/11/07)
Submitted by Lunchbox on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 11:26 PM EST

Destination X opens with a small video package highlighting the main event fighters for the night, and all of their "fears".

In the iMPACT! Zone, Mike Tenay welcomes us to the Pay-Per-View. Gunshots go off as LAX makes their way to the ring. LAX stops at the Spanish announce table and eyeball Hector Guerrero. Pyro introduces Team 3D with Johnny Rodz. (Uhm, where's Johnny Rodz?)

Team 3D throw garbage cans in the ring. Brother Ray and Homicide go at it with Hernandez and D-Von on the other side. Clothes line on Hernandez, one hand spine buster on Homicide by DVon. Hernandez and Homicide are doubled in the corner, DVon with a running train. Ray and Hernandez go to the outside. DVon throws Homicide into the ring, Homicide comes back with a tornado DDT. Hernandez and Homicide double team Brother Ray via spring board face plant. DVon to the outside, Hernandez with a suicide dive clearing the top rope to the outside. Ray and Homicide on the outside, Homicide smacks Ray with a cookie sheet. Hernandez and DVon right up the ramp. Cookie sheet to Ray three more times. DVon and Hernandez go through the crowd, DVon uses crutches on Hernandez. Ray and Homicide make their way into the crowd, up the stairs. Fans even got in some punches on Homicide. Back to DVon and Hernandez, they move further up the stairs. Ray back drops Homicide onto the steps. DVon grabs a bottle of water, takes a sip, smashes Hernandez and gently puts it back on the bench. 3D chants started as all four men make their way back down the stairs. Hernandez meets the wall. Chair to Homicide. Action almost back to the ring. Trash can lid to DVon's head, then one to Ray's. Back in the ring Homicide grabs a garbage can and nails DVon in the back, snap power slam on Homicide. Two count. Hernandez in, two handed choke suplex on DVon. Two count. DVon with a trash can lid to the head of Hernandez. Ray charges Hernandez in the corner. Hernandez and Ray up top. Suplex on Hernandez by Ray. Homicide with a huracanrana on Ray from the top rope. Two count. Ray spreads Homicide's legs, WHAT'S UP?! Ray grabs a couple beers from the outside, Team 3D drink it in the ring. The crowd yells 'Get the tables!'. Ray sets up a table, random Latino Jobbers enter the ring. (Would that be Los Jabronies?) Johnny Rodz comes in and clears the ring with some horrible kicks and punches which sets up a "Ghetto Brawl" as another handful of jobbers run into the ring. This time, they're black. (Since when did TNA start filming in Harlem? If you live west of 110th Street look out your window, you'll see the ending of this match.) Doomsday Device by Team 3D, two count. Hernandez with a clothesline. Border Toss attempt, DVon throws Hernandez into the ropes. 3D! Two count, ref is pulled out of the ring. Ray up top, flops to the outside. Homicide and DVon battle inside the ring. Alex Shelly now on the ring apron. DVon walks over, low blow by Homicide. Shelley delivers the camcorder to DVon's face. DVon placed on the table, Shelley with a frog splash onto DVon. Homicide with the 1-2-3 on DVon.
(Eval- Horrible match with no real spots. All four men can be extreme. I saw no hockey sticks, no cheese graders, no guitars and not even a kitchen sink! Joey Styles would be saddened by this. New Jack would be turning in his grave...Wait, is he dead yet? No? Anyway, horrible, horrible, horrible! Or, for LAX fans, Los Horribles. Rating- *)

In the back JB tells us about TNA Mobile, asking who will win. Cage or Joe. Rhino comes up and states he's afraid. He's going to be a man, he normally ends his interview by saying 'Gore! Gore! Gore!', but not tonight. He's going to his locker room to focus, because gravity plays no favorites.

Mike Tenay and Don West recapped the card for tonight's Pay-Per-View. Don West was annoying per usual.

James Storm and Jackie Moore come to the ring, carrying bull ropes preparing for their match. Petey Williams and Gail Kim come out shortly after, to a mediocre pop. Gail Kim is ductaped and bull roped to Jackie, Storm is connected to Petey. Jackie starts off by attacking Gail. Petey and Gail come back with a double scoop slam, then wrap the ropes around their necks. From opposite corners, Jackie and Storm get thrown into one another. Petey wraps the rope around Storm and slams him to the mat. Storm and Jackie to the outside. Gail pulls Jackie down, Storm pulls Petey to the outside. Gail flips Jackie onto the ramp. Storm and Petey go at it by the announce table, Gail Kim rakes Storm's eyes. Gail pushes Storm into Petey for a clothesline. To the ring, Gail wraps Jackie around the ring post and delivers three knife edge chops. Storm and Petey back into the ring, Storm slides out then gets yanked into the ring post. Back in the ring, Storm runs around the ref with the rope, then punches Petey. Storm wraps the ropes around Petey's feet, jumps the outside over the ropes and back in, entwining him through the ropes. Storm attempts a pin, gets a one count because of Petey's feet on the ropes. Petey thrown to the outside. Gail and Jackie continue to brawl as they're connected to the post. In the ring, Storm places a boot to Petey's gut, and picks him up for the Eye of the Storm. Two count. Storm goes for a Canadian Destroyer, Petey flips him backwards. Petey then whips Storm with the rope. Petey uses the rope to help with a Russian leg sweep on Storm. Cradle DDT by Petey onto Storm, two count. Gail and Jackie back into the ring, multiple clotheslines on Jackie. Backdrop on Jackie. Petey attempts the Canadian Destroyer, Jackie low blows Petey allowing Storm to get the super kick, 1-2-3. (Eval- Boo-boo-hiss. This was a good match, but could have been much better. The screw job ending was completely telegraphed by having the women on the outside until time for the end. Rating- ** 1/2)

Steiner is in the back flirting with Laticia. She asks him if he's worried and he says Angle should be worried about him. Tonight the whole world will find out why he's the man with the largest arms, and the genetic freak. His offense is impeccable. His defense is indefensible. (Yes, he said that. Indefensible means 'incapable of being protected or defended against attack'. I do believe he meant impenetrable.) Cage comes in and asks for Steiner's help. Cage said Tomko was in Japan on business, so he has nobody in his corner. He's trying to get his own life, how selfish is that? Tomko's a weak link. Cage and Steiner were brothers. Steiner tells Cage there is no 'me and you', there never will be any 'me and you' and walks away. Cage tells Laticia it's not over until he says it's over. He puts his arm around her and they walk away.
(Eval- Typical Steiner promo with yet another mistake in his lines. He's just not a master of Wordology. So first we have WWE Superstars on Deal Or No Deal, maybe now we can send Steiner to 'Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?' and watch him flounder like a fish out of water. Rating- * Just because Christian made mention of Tomko being in Japan...Which I called!)

Back in the ring, Austin Starr comes down followed shortly by Senshi. Senshi to the top, Starr runs in with a chop to the back. Senshi into the ropes, Starr follows with multiple punches. Senshi fights back with a sharp chop. Starr into the ropes, Senshi with two drop-kicks. Drop toe hold on Starr, Senshi attempts the Crossface Chicken Wing. Chop by Senshi. Starr into the ropes, elbow to the face. Senshi attempts the CCW. Knife edge chop on Starr. Senshi off the ropes, corkscrew elbow on Starr. Double chop to the back on Starr. Starr attempts offense and Senshi returns with two chops to his chest. Senshi with a high vertical suplex. Crash into the ropes, Starr finally mounts offense with a few chops. Nail rake to Senshi's back. Senshi to the mat, stomps by Starr. Starr slams Senshi back, and continues to work his shoulder, and goes for the CCW. Senshi into the corner, slap to the chest. Senshi fights back with yet another chop. (I'm seeing a pattern here that is annoying me.) Senshi underneath the ropes, springboard neck meets bottom rope. Starr goes for the CCW, no luck. Starr delivers a T-bone into a forward leg sweep into a gust buster, then drops Senshi to the ground.

Bob Backlund makes his way to the ring. Starr went to the top, Senshi hit Starr with a cartwheel into a spinning back kick. Senshi throws Starr into the ropes, delivers at least ten knife edge chops, and Starr gives a reverse Flair Flop. Multiple kicks delivered to Starr's chest, into the ropes, back body drop. Senshi off the middle rope, into a somersault wheel kick. Attempt at a CCW, arm drag, Senshi stands. Ultimo Dragon kicks to Starr, before a rake to the eyes. Senshi runs back into Starr, catching his foot on Starr's leg, delivering a backwards lariat. Starr with a side suplex, Senshi into the corner. Drop-kick by Starr. Starr attempts the CCW, Senshi pushes him off with charging drop-kick. Senshi to the top, Starr pushes Slick into the ropes, Senshi catches his neck on the top rope and falls to the outside. Starr off the ropes into a low suicide dive on Senshi into the guard rail. Back into the ring, Starr springboard corkscrew splash on Senshi. Starr goes for the suplex, Senshi reverses into the CCW, another reversal Starr with the CCW. Senshi gets out, multiple chops. Senshi charges Starr into the corner, move, Senshi slams his shoulder into the ring post. Starr drops to the ground, CCW and a grapevine, Senshi met the ropes. Senshi comes back into the middle of the ring and puts Starr in the CCW, interlocked with a grapevine. Starr taps.

Post-match Backlund enters the ring, discarding his shoes and offers his hand to Senshi. Starr shoves Senshi into Backlund and attempts the Crossface Chicken Wing, referees come from the back to break it up.
(Eval- A very good match once it got passed the excessive chops. Since when did we have Flair vs. Macho Man? These athletes are phenomenal to watch and I'm glad they're still playing Starr as the crazy heel. Rating- ***)

JB in the back, offering up the TNA Mobile texting. (Anyone else already tired of this?) AJ comes in, stating Rhino is out of his element, but he's in this because he stuck his nose in AJ's business. He got beat down like a dog. His ego has him out of his element. After AJ beats him down and embarrasses him. He can't go left, he can't go right. He can't even go up. There's only one way to go. Straight down.
(Eval- Eh, I don't know. Still not liking AJ doing promos while he's a heel. Rating- *)

Christy "Please-Bend-Over-Again" Hemme comes to the ring and hops on the mic but is quickly interrupted by VKM's music. Kip has a mic in his hand. He asks Christy how the strip club worked out for her. He compares her to the pimple on his ass that won't go away. Attempts to show her, but BG tells him no. On planet earth, the women work for the men. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the yard and especially in the bed room. His women even takes care of his pets. His B-I-N-G-O crotch. (Eh?) Christy states that BG and Kip disgust her, she introduces The Heart Breakers. (AKA, The Heart Throbs from WWE. Antonio and Romeo.)

BG and Antonio start off in the ring with a tie up. Antonio reverses with a hammer lock. Elbow to Antonio's face. Shake, Rattle and Roll by BG on Antonio. Antonio goes into the ropes, BG runs and slams into his back. Two count. BG tags in Kip. Kip throws Antonio into the ring post, tag in Romeo. Romeo clubs Kip in the back. Kip into the corner, head scissors by Romeo. Reversal with double hurdles. Drop toe hold on Romeo, deep arm drag. Standing drop kick by Kip. Romeo delivers multiple kicks to Kip. Kip reverses and slams Romeo down, dances in the ring, attempts to push off the ropes, Christy grabs his leg. Distraction occurs and allows Romeo to deliver punches to Kip. Antonio and BG into the ring, BG takes Antonio outside. Brawling continues on the outside, Romeo off the opposite side of the ropes, attempts to drop on the outside, misses and lands on Antonio. Christy comes inside, low blow to Kip. Kip shows a cup, puts it in Christy's face. Lance Hoyt comes down to the ring and takes Christy back stage. Heart Breakers back in, double team on Kip. Double team continues, two count. Another two count. After many more minutes of useless and uneventful "wrestling", BG comes in and delivers multiple right hands to The Heart Breakers. Two count. BG delivers a pump handle slam on one of them. 1-2-3.
(Eval- I highly apologize for not giving you more of this match, there was another five minutes of action, but in all honesty? It took all of my effort to not cry at the bull shit this match became. I couldn't type, nor could I keep track of either of these douchebags. Rating- 1/2 *)

Post-Match, Lance Hoyt comes down to the ring to celebrate with VKM. Christy comes back down to the ring with a riding crop. VKM and Hoyt seem to enjoy this.

Laticia is in the back with Cage. Cage goes to Abyss in a cage and asks for another talk. Tells him about the usual happenings of his life and mentions the Christian Coalition being the perfect family for Abyss. He brought a picture of himself to replace the picture of Mitchell. He rattles off what he wrote on the autograph and hands it to Abyss. Abyss looks at the picture, Cage informs him that he did something for him, so now Abyss needs to do something for him. He never told his secret. When he's done with Sting, Abyss needs to help Cage with Joe. Supposedly Joe said that if he found Abyss before Sting, there would be trouble. Abyss threatens to punch Cage, then pounds his fist. Shake and Bake!
(Eval- I thought this was funny. I'll reiterate what I said on Thursday's report. Christian can play off of anyone, even a monster who grunts, screams and smashes things. Shake and Bake! Rating- **)

Video package of Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin and their upcoming match.

The X Factors are shown before Jerry Lynn makes his way to the ring, Sabin quickly after. Sabin and Lynn trade pops by the fans on the top ropes. Bell rings, they tie up. Lynn with a side head lock, reversal by Sabin. Sabin pushes Lynn, Lynn pushes Sabin down. Sabin delivers a kick to Lynn's stomach, slap to the face, deep arm drag on Sabin, standing drop-kick by Lynn. On the outside, Lynn chases Sabin around the ring. Sabin into the ring, Lynn follows and Sabin issues a few stomps. Lynn reversal, standing huracanrana. Sends Sabin into the ropes, tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Two count. Lynn places Sabin in an arm bar. Typical rest hold. Stand up, Lynn into the ropes, shoulder block. Sabin with a rising knee into Lynn's gut. Sabin drop-kicks Lynn to the outside. Lynn gloats in the ring, dancing around trying to taunt Sabin. To the outside, Lynn sends Sabin over the guard rail. Lynn climbs the ring, off the middle rope, backwards springboard into Sabin behind the guard rail. Back in the ring, Lynn to the top rope, Sabin up and pushes Lynn down. Spin kick to the back of Lynn's head. Sabin attempts a huracanrana, Lynn turns it into a roll up, two count. Sabin with a shoulder breaker into a sidewalk slam on Lynn. Two count. Sabin attempts a choke in the middle of the ring. Obvious rest hold number two. Stand up, Lynn off the ropes, cross body block, two count. Sabin with a drop kick to Lynn's knee. Sabin charges Lynn, sunset flip, Lynn gets a two count. Lynn rushes Sabin, attempts to lock his neck, Sabin catches him and power bombs. Sabin places feet on the ropes, 1-2-3. Sabin receives Fall 2. Three two counts in a row, Lynn kicks out. Back breaker on Lynn. Sabin spring board, taunts Lynn and fist drop misses. Lynn off the ropes, two shoulder blocks into a flying forearm. Lynn gets a two count. Belly to back suplex on Sabin, two count. Lynn in the corner, Sabin rushes into Lynn, big boot to Lynn's jaw. Cradle Shock, two count. Sabin attempts a Cradle Piledriver. Reversal by Lynn into his own Cradle Piledriver. Sabin with another Cradle Shock after interference on the outside by a masked figure. 1-2-3. Sabin receives Fall 3.

Post-Match the masked figure comes in, Angel's Wings on Sabin. It turns out to be Christopher Daniels. Daniels picks up the belt and smacks Lynn with it. Last Rites. Daniels leaves the ring.
(Eval- Excellent match, I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm so glad Christopher Daniels is back. With a beard! He looks good. Bigger, thicker and more powerful. Rating- ****)

Backstage, JB is interviewing Cornette. He informs us that he has a special announcement this Thursday on iMPACT!. Christy comes in and says she has some tricks up her sleeve, and leaves. Cornette tells her that if she doesn't like her job, he has a secretary position open, if she can take dictation.
(Eval- Aside from the dictation comment, this was stupid. Rating- *)

Elevation X is lowered to the ring, a video package is shown of AJ and Rhino's feud.

(Note- (Time Stamp of 9:34 before the match actually started. I'm not just scared for this match, or for the wrestlers. I'm scared for what this match is going to do for the business. In all honesty, I do believe this is the worst thing they could do. It's a negligent homicide waiting to happen. I feel another Owen Hart coming upon us.)
Rhino comes to the ring, shortly after AJ comes down putting on red and white gloves. Rhino and AJ brawl on the outside. Rhino mounts the majority of the offense, slamming AJ into the guard rail multiple times and the scaffolding. AJ over the guard rail, springboard onto Rhino, meeting him with a forearm. AJ scales the Elevation X and begins taunting Rhino. Rhino looks reluctant to climb, walking around the ring. After much encouragement from the fans, Rhino scales to the top. Rhino almost falls three times before getting to the top. AJ shakes the elevation and taunts Rhino. The match consisted of them trading blows for the majority, fans upset and people not wanting to watch. There was nothing entertaining about this match, fans were crying. I'll give you that one more again, fans were crying. This report is not panning out to be a very good one, but for all you fans who are reading this, if you didn't see it, you don't know how sick to my stomach I was during this. Styles attempted the Styles Clash once, Rhino knocked him down. Towards the end of the match, AJ grabbed some powder and got it knocked back into his face. Rhino got a short gore on Styles. He fell to the side of the structure and held on. A few seconds went by as Rhino stood and looked down at him, then stomped his hands and AJ fell to the ring. Rhino wins.
(Eval- This was a horrible idea and never should have been done. It could have been so much more with a little more thought. It needs to be wider, Rhino could not stand let alone walk on that little area. It was no bigger than a pizza box. Rating- No stars. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.)

Video package of Angle and Steiner. Back in the ring, medics are attending to AJ Styles.

Backstage Angle is interviewed, stating Steiner is going to be a victim. The ring is going to be a crime scene with his finger prints all over it. Angle came to this company to make it bigger and to prove that he's the best wrestler in the world. Steiner came for greed. Angle took Steiner's spot because he's better. Angle wins, it's what he does. He's going to show Steiner that his intentions and actions are real, damn real.
(Eval- Nobody gave me your spot, a liver spot, a dog spot, a sun spot. It's my spot! Sorry, wrong promo. Intense promo from Angle, I liked it. Rating- **)

Back in the iMPACT! zone, there is a lot of time wasted by showing the fans as we wait for AJ Styles to be carried out of the ring. Steiner is escorted out by two women. Shortly after, Angle makes his entrance.

The match begins with a tie up, pushing Angle into the corner. They're broken up by the ref. Another tie up. Angle with a head lock on Steiner. Angle into the ropes, Steiner with a shoulder block. Steiner flexes. Steiner with a side head lock on Angle. Angle into the ropes and rolls to the outside. Back in the ring, Steiner flexes again, heat butt and an uppercut to Steiner. Angle pushes him into the corner and continues to stomp Steiner. Steiner into the ropes, shoulder block. Suplex on Big Poppa Pump, Angle clotheslines Steiner to the outside. Angle attempts baseball slide, Steinerline. Angle's face meets the steel steps. Twice. Steiner poses for a third time. Back in the ring, Angle into the ropes, clothesline. Elbow drop, one count. Angle into the corner, boot to the face by Angle. Angle mounts Steiner with right hands. European uppercut, Steiner into the ropes, Angle bends down, kick to his chest. Steiner with a head lock on Angle, yay for rest holds. They stand up, side suplex on Steiner. They trade right hands. European uppercut, twice. Three rolling Germans, a whole Nazi party. Steiner with a belly to belly. (COVER, TWO AND NO...Sorry, wrong show again. Notice a trend?) Olympic Slam, two count. Angle rolls into the ankle lock. Steiner rolls through and sends Angle into the middle turnbuckle. Steiner with a school boy cover, two count. Steiner into the corner, Angle runs through, shoulder into the ring post. Steiner Recliner. Angle breaks free, with a horrible looking slam. Angle runs into Steiner, Steiner throws him to the outside. On the outside, Angle goes into the guard rail. Steiner with his own Olympic Slam. Steiner Recliner #2. Reversal, Olympic Slam #2. Straps are down! Ankle lock. Steiner gets to the ropes, Angle pulls him off. Steiner rolls and kicks out of the ankle lock. Standing up, clothesline on Angle. Angle placed to the top rope. Steiner attempts a belly to belly on the top rope. Angle reverses with a sunset flip, however it didn't connect. Angle gets the 1-2-3.
(Eval- Yet another horrible match. Angle looked good, but he's only as good as what he's working with, and that wasn't much. Steiner seemed to be hurt halfway through. Although, you couldn't really tell, because he's never actually wrestled since he took off the Michigan jacket. Rating- *)

JB in the back interviewing Joe. For two years, two long years. He was locked in a cage. He was denied what was rightfully his. Tonight he is set free. Tonight he is born again, he will reign down vengeance and violence without prejudice. Tonight, he achieves his destiny. Christian is the only thing that stands in his way. If Abyss tries to interfere, he will fall like all others. Tonight will mark the beginning of the Samoa Joe NWA Heavyweight Championship reign.
(Eval- I love Joe promos. Rating- Joe's Gonna Kill You!)

Video package for Sting/Abyss and the Last Rites match.

Abyss makes his way to the ring, to a decent pop, actually. However, that is completely negated by Sting's pop. Action starts outside the ring. Abyss into the guard rail, then the steel steps. Abyss back into the guard rail. Sting tries a Stinger Splash and Abyss moves, with a hard crash around Sting's ribs. Abyss grabs a chair and comes down on Sting's back with a thunderous crash. In the ring, knife edge chops by Sting. Sting off the ropes, Abyss catches him, reversal into an inverted DDT. Abyss is in the corner with his back to Sting, two Stinger Splashes. Sting runs towards Abyss, Abyss grabs the candles on the ring post and smashes Sting's face. Sting's busted open. The Death Bed is lowered. Abyss throws Sting into the casket, brute strength used by both men. Sting chops Abyss away and climbs out. Abyss goes to the outside and grabs a tombstone. Scorpion Deathlock. Abyss taps but it doesn't matter. Deathlock broken, Abyss to the mat in the corner. Tombstone against Abyss' face, Sting grabs his baseball bat and smacks it into the tombstone. Sting puts Abyss in the coffin and tries to climb on top. Abyss climbs out. Abyss sets Sting up for a chokeslam. Chokeslam onto the coffin! Abyss sets up a couple chairs and a tombstone on top. To the middle rope, Abyss grabs Sting for a vertical suplex. Sting fights back. Shots to Abyss' back and ribs. Candles are picked up, smashed into Abyss' head as he's pushed back into the tombstone/chair like table. Sting pushes Abyss into the coffin, Sting is laying on top of the coffin as it's raised.
(Eval- A few good spots with the coffin, candles and head stones. But rather slow moving and predictable, except for the gushing blood from Sting's forehead. Rating- * 1/2)

Video package of Joe and Cage.

Samoan music plays with two dancers then two fire dancers. Samoa Joe makes his way to the ring. Cage then makes his way to the ring. JB introduces both men. Cage and Joe go nose to nose. Thai kick to Cage's leg. Twice. Joe places Cage in a hammer lock, off the ropes, side head lock. Rest hold #1. Multiple pushes off the ropes, shoulder block into Cage. Open hand slap to Cage. Couple of kicks to Cage. Cage goes to the top, corkscrew, Joe walks away, Cage falls on his back. Joe off the ropes, knee to Cage's face. Two count. More lethal kicks to Cage. Off the ropes, boot to Cage's head, knocking him outside. Joe reversed into the ring post. Cage runs towards Joe, rising knee, Joe catches him and slams Cage into the steel floor. Cage over the guard rail. Brawl through the crowd. Up the steps to the second tier, head butt down the stairs. Back to ground level, Cage into the wall. (Insert shotgun round here, that was hella stiff.) Double sledge into Cage. Cage into the corner, running high knee. Three punches in the corner, before Cage drops to the mat. Joe off the ropes, running boot to Cage's face. Standing up, reversal Joe into the corner. Chop. Joe to the middle rope, jumping shin kick again. Cage off the ropes, Joe with a snap power slam. Cage attempts the unprettier. Reversal, Joe with a power bomb. Two count into a modified Boston crab into an STF. Joe rolls into a Crossface on Cage, then rolls over into a rear naked. Cage hits the Unprettier. Two count. Sleeper on Joe. Rest hold #3. Cage to Joe's back, Joe runs and crashes into Cage. Cage on the apron, Joe off the opposite ropes and goes through the middle ropes with a battering ram. Cage goes up the ramp, says he's done. Petey Williams, Jay Lethal, Senshi and Sonjay Dutt grab Cage and throw him back into the ring. Joe with a modified Greetings From Asbury Park, cover, no ref. Another ref runs in, two count. Joe attempts to kick Cage, ref in the way. Cage outside, chair. Joe runs towards the rope, chair to the head. Cage with a cover, no ref. Cage outside, another chair. Back in, misses with the chair. Open palm slaps, muscle buster! Cover, two count. Rear naked choke, mule kick low blow by Cage. Cage up top. Standing kick to Cage off the rope. Rear naked choke. Joe drops down, grapevine. Cage rolls over, feet on the ropes, Joe's shoulders on the mat. 1-2-3. Cage retains.
(Eval- I actually really liked this match, and I have no problems with how it ended. I knew Cage would retain, now let's just see if they set up the 3-way I posted in the forums. Tomko/Joe/Cage. This could get interesting. Rating- ***)

Final Analysis- I highly apologize once more about a couple of the matches not having much, but had you seen it, you'd understand there's not much to really give. Overall, this PPV was somewhat lack luster. Three good matches, one decent the rest horrible. Most promos were decent or better, except when Steiner's involved. The crowd was sure into most of it, except for Elevation and The Last Rites. Which I found funny, the crowd chanted 'Fire Russo' during that one. I give this a 6/10. If not for the two X matches, it would have been a lot lower. Goodnight folks.
