WWE News: UFC becoming a major threat?, Superstar moved to SmackDown, more

• The Associated Press is running an article today talking about the three-way pay-per-view battle between Ultimate Fighting Championships, boxing, and professional wrestling. The article looks at the rapid growth of the UFC and basically states that it is a much hotter commodity at this point than WWE. The article also gives the jist that unlike WWE; UFC has built a number of new stars. WWE senior vice president of marketing, Geof Rochester is quoted as saying that they aren’t worried about the UFC and that they have "the next Rock in John Cena." WWE may not be publicly worried, however they have created a MMA character in Vladimir Kozlov and have tried to hire away announcer Mike Goldberg.
