TNA News: Albert Pujols comments on Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels update, more Submitted by Jason Brown on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 3:03 PM EST
TNA star Kurt Angle is receiving a lot of press today for appearing at the St. Louis Cardinals spring training camp yesterday. The Associated Press, ESPN, MLB.com, and several other media outlets have featured stories on the Olympic Gold Medallist which even participated in batting practice with Albert Pujols. Pujols said the following about Angle, "By the time he retires, he'll be considered one of the best ever. It was an honor him telling me what to do in there. It would be like me getting him in the ring. I really admire these guys because of their work ethic and the way they go all year long."
Despite not appearing on Monday’s iMPACT tapings, Christopher Daniels was backstage in Orlando.
An announcement was made today on TNAWrestling.com that the NWA Tag Team Champions LAX had “attacked” Johnny Rodz in New York City. If you remember in a spoiler note a few weeks back, we reported that this segment was taped. The footage will air this week on iMPACT and will set the grounds for the next stage of the LAX vs. 3D storyline leading into Destination X.
