Welcome to the results for week 4 of Wrestling Society X. Once again this is Patrick Pena and here is the rundown:
Matt Sydal vs Scorpio Sky
Keepin' it Gangsta vs That 70s Team
Human Tornado vs El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado
Tonight's musical guest is Clipse, and after a quick song, it's time for our first match.
Match 1: Matt Sydal w/ Lizzy Valentine vs Scorpio Sky
Scorpio gives Lizzy a headshot, which she promptly crumbles up and throws outside the ring. Sydal pushes Scorpio and this leads to a long back and forth exchange in which the two are very evenly matched. Bret Ernst comments that these guys are both "shredded like wheat" and Scorpio hits a hurricanrana, sending Sydal out of the ring. Matt regroups and attempts a sunset flip into the ring. Scorpio chases Matt to the corner, where Matt flips off the corner, grabbing Scorpio in a reverse DDT position and drops a leg onto Sky. Matt hits his patented standing moonsault (the most beautiful standing moonsault on the planet) and gets a 2 count. Sky hits a spinebuster and goes to the top rope. Sydal gets on top as well and hits the flipping belly to belly for the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Matt Sydal
Lizzy writes "H8R" in red lipstick on Sky's back.
We are treated to a recap of Jack Evans' win last week and his ballcrushing attack on Marcus Riot outside the arena. This week on WSXtra, they will meet. (At the bottom of my report)
Keepin' it Gangsta, "King of Bling" Babi Slymm and "The Regulator of the Ring" Ruckus are preparing for their match. Ruckus can't find his little ladder. Slymm brings out what appears to be the world's most expensive ladder. It glistens in the light. Straight bling blingin.
KIG come to the ring, pushing the cameraman on the way. They issue an open challenge to any tag team on the roster. Slymm guarantees us that whoever accepts will get knocked the f-ck out.
Match 2: Keepin' It Gangsta vs That 70s Team Disco Machine and Joey "Magnum" Ryan
Ruckus shows off with some flashy, Ron Killings-style offense and gets a tag to Slymm. After some double teaming from KIG, Slymm gets a two count on Joey Ryan. Joey hits a dropkick and tags in Disco. Disco goes for a victory roll on the big man Slymm but can't bring him down. Joey kicks Slymm and Disco gets the victory roll for the two. Joey once again gets his tights pulled down and walks around with his ass hanging out. We get a beautiful flipping handspring back elbow from Ruckus to Joey and then a running rocker dropper to Disco. Slymm comes in and hits a big spinning sidewalk slam on Joey while Ruckus hits a twisting DDT on Disco. Joey is in the tree of woe. Ruckus grabs the Disco Ball and hits Joey square in the junk, smashing the Disco Ball. He puts the small ladder over Joey's face as Slymm gets the bling ladder. Ruckus hits a flipping legdrop onto the ladder to Joey's face for the 1,2,3 and that's our Quizno's subs, Slamwich! replay.
Winners: Keepin it Gangsta
A promo from the Anarchist Arik Cannon is shown in which he attacks one of his own friends. Imagine what he will do to his opponents. He debuts next week against Delikado (AKA B-boy).
When we return from the commercial break, El Hombre is already in the ring. As he poses in the corner he sneezes. We await the entrance of Human Tornado. When he doesn't come out, we cut to the back and Tornado has been knocked out. 6-pac then rushes to the ring in a fury and hits a spinning kick on El Hombre. 6-pac then calls out Vampiro. Vampiro comes out and is attacked by a large man with a burned face. He is comparable to Abyss or Kane. This guy throws a fireball into the face of Vampiro. Perhaps Vampiro burned his face. As the monster's eyes light up white like a demon, the show ends.
WSXtra:
Human Tornado comes out and demands an interview with Lacey. Tornado challenges 6-pac to a match next week.
WSXtra Match 1: D.I.F.H, Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs vs Team Dragongate
Jacobs and Horiguchi start off the match and exchange back and forth, ending with a great spinning headscissors on Horiguchi. Yoshino and Black enter the ring and Yoshino hits a drop toe hold followed by a dropkick to the face from Horiguchi. Horiguchi hits a tornado DDT on Black for a nearfall. Horiguchi misses a moonsault on Jacobs. Black gets Horiguchi on his shoulders and JAcobs hits an elbow from the top. Black follows up with a Michinoku Driver for the 1, 2, 3.
Winners: D.I.F.H.
Jacobs hugs Black and offers a hug to Yoshino, which is refused. Jacobs hugs some female fans as he goes back to the lockerroom.
We get a recap of Keepin it Gangsta's beatdown on That 70s Team, folowed by a lockerroom brawl against Alkatrazz and Luke Hawx. Next week they will meet on WSXtra.
WSXtra Match 2: Marcus Riot vs "The Prince of Parkland" Jack Evans
Marcus comes out dressed very similar to Evans. Evans comes out and dazzles us with a little breakin' both in the ring and out of the ring. Riot hits some kicks early on, sends Jack into the ropes and gets a spinkick for his troubles. He hits a hurricanrana on Jack, but Jack comes back with a cartwheel kick. Evans hits a death defying 450 springboard splash to the floor on Riot. Back in the ring, he misses a standing shooting star press. Riot hits a big clothesline on Evans for a 2 count. Riot hits a wicked overhead german suplex on Evans, followed by a dropkick to the face in the corner for a nearfall. He delivers a few chops on Evans and sends him into the ropes. Jack hits the shining ninja (reverse hurricanrana) on Riot for a 2 count. Riot goes for another german suplex but Evans lands on his feet. Jack goes for the 630 but Riot rolls out of the way. Jack rolls through and takes a wicked leg lariat. Jack hits a fisherman brainbuster, followed up by the 630 splash, for the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Jack Evans
End of report.
Another good week of WSX. I'm looking forward to next week's show, which features the debut of Arik Cannon and Delikado, and also features a match with The Filth and the Fury vs Team Dragongate.
