As reported earlier here on LordsOfPain.net, former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is currently in negotiations with UFC and has been training with Japan MMA group, K-1. Sources close to the situation are now saying that Lesnar will make his long awaited MMA debut for K-1 offshoot HEROES on May 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lesnar has been training to become an MMA fighter since leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.
TNA officials are said to be very happy with ticket sales for their April 15th Lockdown pay-per-view in St. Louis thus far. According to demographic studies, St. Louis was chosen for Lockdown because it is among the top rated cities for viewership of iMPACT.
The TNA Genesis 2006 pay-per-view has now been released on DVD. It features the first Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe match and Abyss winning the NWA championship.
