Both men exchange chops and punches and MVP rakes the eyes of Benoit. MVP brings Benoit to his feet but Benoit slaps the taste out of MVP’s mouth and begins landing some brutal chops to MVP’s chest. MVP has enough of it and quickly ducks out of the rope to the apron. MVP not wanting to go back in tags Mercury on the outside, not realizing that you can’t make a tag on the outside of the ring. MVP and Mercury argue over who goes back in, and finally MVP inches into the ring. Benoit goes straight to the attack and irish whips MVP into the ropes and lands a clothesline knocking MVP down. MVP brings Hardy to his feet and tags in Mercury, Mercury continues the assault for a while then delivers a huge clothesline to Hardy. Another quick tag by MNM as Nitro is now in and quickly attacks Matt Hardy hitting a back breaker for another 2 count. Matt Hardy begins to fight out of a front face lock, sends Nitro into the ropes and delivers a big falling clothesline knocking Nitro to the mat hard. Both men struggle to their feet and both make hot tags. Benoit now in surges at Mercury hitting him with a clothesline, followed by a back body drop to Nitro and a huge chop to MVP’s chest knocking him down. Benoit grabs Mercury and snap suplexs him onto MVP. Mercury and Nitro are staggering, and Benoit grabs hold of Mercury from behind looking for the german suplex, but Mercury grabs hold of the waist of Nitro looking to block it. Benoit powers through and delivers a double-tiered german suplex on both men. Now the Hardys run in and all 6 men are brawling. Both Nitro and MVP are knocked to the outside, leaving Mercury to get ganged up on by Benoit and the Hardys. Matt sends Mercury into the corner, drops to all fours and Jeff delivers a Poetry in Motion to Mercury. Mercury stumbles out of the corner and is hit with the Twist of Fate, followed by a Swanton Bomb and a Diving Headbutt by Benoit! The pin attempt is then broken up by MVP and Nitro who are back in now. Again all 6 men start to fight. MVP is sent to the outside by Matt, Jeff now on the outside is nailed with a diving clothesline from the apron by Nitro. Benoit struggles to his feet, and MVP grabs the US title and charges in. MVP swings and misses with the title and Benoit grabs the arm and locks in the Crossface. MVP is close to tapping but Nitro breaks up the submission. Nitro quickly knocks Matt to the outside and Jeff clotheslines MVP sending both himself and MVP to the outside. MNM both in now looking to hit the Snapshot on Benoit. Benoit now up on Mercury’s shoulders and Nitro goes to hit the Snapshot but is attacked from behind by Matt Hardy. Benoit rolls through on Mercury into a sunset flip, then quickly switches it into the Crossface. Mercury taps out quickly (I'm guessing due to his face)
(SNOWnote: This match was really good considering it was booked on the fly. Hands down the match of the night. If they had not announced it at the last second and had given them a little more time to get used to each other, this could’ve been a 9.)
Winner by Submission: Chris Benoit & The Hardys
Match Rating: 4.2 outta 5
Backstage Krystal is interviewing Vikki Guerrero. Vikki says she has something important to do next week on Smackdown. She then thanks Krystal for EVERYTHING.
(I am guessing this is where the sexual harassment thing against Teddy Long comes into play)
We then see Finlay and Lil’ Bastard walking through the arena. Bastard says he is not going out there tonight, because little people scare him. Finlay tries calming Bastard down by giving him a hug, then picks him up and dumps him in a near by dumpster. Suddenly Bastard starts screaming and red smoke begins coming out of the dumpster and the Boogeyman’s music hits. Yang fights back and knocks Chavo off the ropes to the mat. Yang attempts a Corkscrew Moonsault from the top but Chavo rolls out of the way, runs to the top rope and delivers a Frog Splash for the pinfall.
(SNOWnote: This was a fast paced match with some decent spots. However, the booking on the fly hurt this one. The crowd was just not in to it, I’m guessing because it wasn’t announced until Friday Night.)
Winner by Pinfall: Chavo Guerrero
Match Rating: 3.1 outta 5
Finlay w/ Lil’ Bastard vs. The Boogeyman w/ Lil’ Boogeyman
(SNOWnote: Everything about this match was horrific. So in the interest of time and my sanity, I am going to keep this short and sweet.)
Lil’ Bastard comes out and goes directly under the ring to hide. Boogeyman and Finlay start things off with Boogeyman getting his offense in first, hitting a fireman’s carry and some punches. Boogey sends Finlay into the ropes and hits a powerslam. Boogieman tags in Mini-Boogey who comes in and hits a few splashes on Finlay. As Finlay is down in the ring, Mini-Boogey eats a handful of worms. At this point Lil’Bastard comes in and wants to fight. Lil’ Bastard quickly returns under the ring. Finlay comes back to Mini-Boogey only to get rolled up in a small package by the little man for a 2 count. Finlay proceeds to beat up on the little guy and throws him out of the ring. Lil’ Bastard pulls Mini-Boogey under the ring with him. Finlay looks under the ring only to see Boogeyman under there. Finlay beats up on Boogeyman, until Boogeyman reverses it and comes back with some very sloppy, very ugly offense including a botched Stinger Splash. Lil’ Bastard then interferes and Boogeyman gives chase, while the refs back is turned at this, Finlay grabs the shillelagh and cracks mini-boogey in the head with it for the 3 count.
(SNOWnote: SWEET LORD!!! This was just aweful. I knew it would be bad…but this beyond my fears bad.)
Winner by Pinfall: Finlay w/Lil’Bastard
Match Rating: 1 outta 5

Both men back up and Booker nails Kane with a solid thrust kick to the jaw, but just can’t capitalize. The two begin to trade shots with Kane getting the upperhand. Kane goes for the chokeslam, however, Booker gets free of it, kicks Kane in the gut and goes for the Scissors Kick. Kane moves out of the way of the kick and hits a big clothesline on Booker sending him spinning in the air. Both men are down and the ref is counting. (SNOWnote: I have to be honest, this match was a lot better than I thought it would be. Both men are known to be sloppy workers, but they proved tonight that they can run a tight match. If this feud continues, I hope we see more matches like this one.)

Domino goes for the Dooms Day Device, but Kendrick ducks it and rolls Deuce up in a Victory Roll for the win!
(SNOWnote: This was a really good tag match. Both teams seem to work well together. And Jimmy Snuka’s kid (DEUCE) is damn good. The only problem I had with the match is that London played the partner in trouble for a little too long and it kind of became boring. Other than that, a very solid tag team match. By the way, did I mention Cherry is HOT?!)
Winner by Pinfall: The Hooliganz (London/Kendrick)
Match Rating: 4 outta 5

Kennedy beats Lashley down into the corner, Lashley tries to fight back and hit a belly to belly but Kennedy kicks his knee out from under him.
(SNOWnote: At this point the boring chants start…and they were deserved. Kennedy did nothing but work on the leg of Lashley the whole match using a bunch of rest holds.)
Both men back up and Kennedy gets Lashley up on his shoulders and hits a standing variation of his Green Bay Plunge. Kennedy to the top rope, and goes for the Kenton Bomb, but Lashley got his knees up. Lashley gets his second wind and hits a belly to belly on Kennedy. Kennedy stumbles some more and Lashley again runs him down and delivers 10 chair shots in a row on Kennedy until the agents run out and break it up.
(SNOWnote: This match was just bad. These two have no chemistry in the ring together. Kennedy seemed to not care that he was in a match and most of his offense looked half-assed. What especially ruined the match was the two chair shots that Kennedy NO SOLD!)
Winner by DQ: Kennedy
Match Rating: 2.5
The Miz comes out for the Diva Talent Contest. Since this was terrible, and had nothing to do with wrestling, I will sum it up. The ECW chicks come out and did another dance routine…once again not in sequence with each other. Jillian comes out and sings for a bit….terrible. Then Jillian bad mouths all the girls and that prompts the divas to come out from the back and beat up on Jillian. Out of no where Ashley’s music hits and she comes out in a bikini. Pyro hits and her Playboy cover is unveiled. Ashley then takes off her top to reveal nothing but 2 playboy bunny pasties.
Main Event

Cena then applied an STFU on Batista but Batista refused to tap out. Undertaker breaks up the STFU. HBK in the corner hits a flying elbow off the top on Batista. HBK misses with Sweet Chin Music. Meanwhile Undertaker gave Cena a chokeslam. Undertaker turns around and Batista then hit a Batista Bomb on Undertaker! Batista (NOW BEING BOOED) rolls to the outside and watches on. HBK now up hits Undertaker with some Sweet Chin Music and Cena grabs the Undertaker and hits him with an FU to get the pinfall. After the match, Batista's music hit and he stood over The Undertaker holding up the World Heavyweight Title. The PPV went off the air with Undertaker sitting up and staring down Batista.
(SNOWnote: This was a standard tag match between these guys. Nothing terrible, but nothing great either. But props to John Cena for hitting a top rope Fameasser during the brawl!)
Winner by Pinfall: John Cena and HBK
Match Rating: 3.7 outta 5
My Two Cents:
This ppv was a big let down. I was expecting more from it, especially after last year’s main event. The 6 man tag and WWE tag title match were very good, and the Cruiser Open was pretty good. The BIG let down of the night was the Kennedy/Lashley match. Kennedy worked poorly during the match and the chemistry was not there. Also, the crowd seemed very dead the whole night, or maybe it’s just the size of the arena that affected the acoustics, either way, you could hear a pin drop. The death nail in this ppv was the Boogeyman match….he doesn’t deserve to be on ppv. Not a great start towards Wrestlemania.
3.7 + 2.5 + 4.0 + 3.7 + 1.0 + 3.1 + 4.2 = 22.2
