WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that CMLL is pressuring Mistico not to work a series of tryout matches at upcoming WWE tapings.
Although the specifics are unclear, the Lucha Libre promotion is reportedly very unhappy about the prospect of Mistico making the jump to World Wrestling Entertainment.
Of the three Hispanic wrestlers—Mistico, Shocker and Perro Aguayo, Jr.—sought by WWE, sources within the company believed Shocker was most likely to sign. But, this weekend, WrestlingObserver reported that Mistico was the wrestler set to receive tryout bouts during WWE's upcoming California swing, a report which had positive implications for his chances of joining WWE.
