WWE added to its extensive roster cut report—the largest since the summer of 2005—on Friday by confirming the departure of Chris "Tatanka" Chavis.

"Tatanka" rose to wrestling stardom with WWE in the early 90s. He returned in recent years to WWE SmackDown, where he, according to WWE.com, "capped a courageous and unlikely comeback to the ring."

Other WWE roster cuts confirmed in the past twenty four hours include Sylvester Terkay, Christopher W. Anderson, Jazz, Rodney Mack, Tony Mamaluke, The Bashams, Al Snow (from active wrestling; he remains with the company), The Gymini and Gangrel.
