Recaps of last week’s show presents a package of the LAX ‘s Santa Clause beatdown, as well as the Samoa Joe injury at the hands of Kurt Angle are shown.
In an office Kurt Angle is demanding that Jim Cornette give Angle his rematch vs. Samoa Joe. Cornette admits he understands Angle but unless Joe agrees, the match can not go down, and Joe is focused only on the World Title which is a situation unto itself due to Sting, Christian Cage and Abyss’s interaction with each other.
Tenay recaps the break-up of America’s Most Wanted and Petey Williams patriotic actions against the Latin American Xchange.
Match One: James Storm/ Chris Sabin v. Petey Williams/ Christopher Daniels
Williams and Sabin start off the opening bout with fairly smooth chain wrestling. The X Champion gets tag in and takes out both of his competitors before focusing on back on Sabin. When Daniels and Williams gets the upperhand, Sabin goes for a chair the respect seeking Jerry Lynn runs to ringside and strips him of it. Meanwhile Daniels high risk flails himself over the top rope striking over both Lynn and Sabin. Back in the ring Storm counters a Canadian Destroyer and hits Williams with the chair and scores the pin
Winner: Sabin/Storm
Post match, Lynn, Daniels and Sabin all brawl outside the ring, with Tenay mentioning it’s the past present and future of the X Division all battling it out.

Jeremy Borash backstage asks Jim Mitchell and Abyss whose side is the NWA Champion on? Mitchell says he is not sure so he asks him personally. Abyss, doesn’t answer as Mitchell verbally berates Abyss, telling him that unless Abyss takes out Sting and Christian Cage in the pole match later tonight Mitchell will reveal Abyss secret concerning Tomko because he knows all about it. Abyss reacts violently as he does not want the secret revealed. Jim Mitchell concludes saying that Abyss disgusts him.
Female announcer Latisha asks Samoa Joe backstage about his injury, and he says he is not injured and that Angle can not break him. Joe says Angle will not get his rematch because Joe is only concerned on getting his title shot that he never received while he was on his 18 month winning streak.
Team 3D makes their way to the ring as Tenay and West explain that since the former Dudleyz return from their Japanese tour that they’ve made a splash back in TNA. Brother Ray explains that there are no Tag Teams left in TNA. He explains that the Naturals were defeated by 3D, and that VKM are fueding with, well…VKM…Ray concludes that this leaves only one team left, The LAX. Suddenly, the Team are interrupted by their younger brother Runt who is still wearing his Santa outfit. Runt wanted to know where Team 3D were when LAX was beating the Hell out of Runt. Ray says that before they left for Japan they told Runt to stay out of trouble and he decided to do what? Pick a fight with Abyss. Runt says that he will never apologize for being man and knowing how to fight. Somehow offended, Ray asks that Brother Devon get a table, and Devon declines. Ray decided to go get it himself. Then the Homicide and Hernandez of the LAX runs in and beats down 3D, security runs in to split the battle up and when the cameras come back from commercial break, all 3 brothers were able to clear out the NWA Tag Champions. 3D celebrates by powerbombing Runt onto the table that Homicide was placed upon.
In the next event of the PCS, under Bob Backlund rules is a game of Limbo. Nash manages to convince Lethal that Nash is black, and he insults Harray Carray. Senshi jumps the stick and is declared legal under Backlund rules. Despite this Lethal comes away with the win.

Latish interviews Christian Cage, where he makes simple the fact that he believes that Sting and Abyss are conspiring to keep Cage away from the NWA Title. But it doesn’t matter because if there is a problem, he has it solved with Tomko.
The VKM shoot footage from outside a live WWE house show, where the WWE fans say that they are not entertained by the DX skits. They they chant TNA and a woman confronts Kip saying he may have fathered her child.
Match Two: Robert Roode v. Lance Hoyt
Backstage Miss Brooks forces Eric Young into a bathroom. The match is a simple big man match that ends when Miss Brooks distracts Hoyt enough for Roode to steal a victory from Hoyt.
Winner: Robert Roode
Near the bathroom a sexed up Eric Young admit he liked being wild and he makes it his new year’s resolution.
Match Three: Nightstick on a Pole Match; Christian Cage v. Sting v. Abyss
The rules of the match were that the first person to get the nightstick and use it would be the winner. Tomko interferes in the match, grabbing the nightstick, but Sting catapults Christian into Tomko, causing him to drop it, and Sting got it and hit Christian with it for the win. After the match, Tomko and Christian goes after Sting, but Abyss helped Sting. Sting handed Abyss the nightstick and left. Jim Mitchell yelled at Abyss post-match.
Winner: Sting
Back from a commercial, Mike Tenay and Jim Cornette stand in the middle of the ring and Cornette makes a major announcement for Final Resolution. The main event for the NWA World’s Title will be a 3 Way Elimination match between Abyss, Cage and Sting. They announce that Samoa Joe has been named "Mr. TNA" for 2006. Joe comes out to accept the trophy, and Kurt Angle comes out during his acceptance speech with the woman that was with Joe earlier. Angle tells Joe if he doesn't give him a rematch, he's going to break her ankle. Joe tells Angle to come down to the ring, but Angle is about to put the woman in the ankle lock and Joe agrees to the rematch. Angle says "It's not personal" then pauses and says "It is personal" and puts the woman in the ankle lock. Joe chases Angle off, and the woman is carried off to end the show
