B.G. James takes TNA vs. WWE angle too far, RVD/Sabu heading to TNA? Submitted by Jason Brown on Monday, December 18, 2006 at 10:26 AM EST
After TNA’s Turning Point pay-per-view, B.G. James walked backstage after his rant and said, "Go ahead, fine me, I got carried away." James was given eight or so bullet points to discuss, but was not given exact wording. Everyone in the TNA locker room was “glued” to monitors backstage to listen and see how far he would take it. Talent is now keeping a close eye on how far Dixie Carter will react and how far she plans on taking the TNA vs. WWE angle.
RVD is now talking openly about heading to TNA. His contract expires early next year and he is pretty fed up with WWE politics. Especially with Paul Heyman leaving the company, odds are RVD will not be re-signing with WWE. Sabu is also likely to follow. When the ECW brand was re-launched he signed a standard two or three-year deal, but it can be cancelled at anytime by WWE. With Sabu’s recent bad behavior backstage it could be likely they will release him.
