WWE has now hired a scout to look for potential new talent in athletes on the collegiate level and across the country. Jim Ross has been one of many in the company who have been pushing Vince McMahon to look for stand out athletes nearing the end of their run in various sports. Both Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin were recruited by WWE but not by a specific scout.
Ohio Valley Wrestling’s Chris Rombola has been capturing the eyes of WWE officials as a potential standout talent worth hanging onto. Rombola is 6-5, 240 pound muscular wrestler, which began a few months ago in Deep South Wrestling and then was promoted up to OVW.
